Excellent service. Arrived in 7 working days from order. Came in a small box and folded square which didn't have any effect on look and no fold damage even though it was 300x200cm. Really good quality as well. Very happy customers

The rug looked awful but as they do not include a pick up service within the 20 pounds they charge for returning the rug I called and asked if they could arrange for a pick up from my house even if I had to pay more. I spoke to a few people, all German who spoke a little English, and explained I couldn't physically bring the rug to the post office. They were rude and unhelpful and kept pretending the line had gone dead. It is an awful company, which should be closed down. Do not use at any cost.

I spoke to a few people, all German who spoke a little English, and explained I couldn't physically bring the rug to the post office. They were rude and unhelpful and kept pretending the line had gone dead. It is an awful company, which should be closed down. Do not use at any cost.

Large rug arrived folded - unprotected - in box - a heap of creases. When contacted I was told to roll it up for a few days'- apart from that they declared there was nothing they could do... informing me that if we had to roll rugs it would cost too much to courier them... very classy (not)

Advertised for weeks at a price. Once I was ready to buy it I've added it to the cart and noticed it was charging me double. I contacted customer service and they said it was a glitch. Went back to buy it and not only they had increased the overall price but they were offering considerably less discount.
I wanted to pay for what was Advertised.
After a few emails they asked me for my phone number! I said no and this was their response:
Hi

We will not nowhere.

Sorry

If this is not a scam I don't know what it is. Glad I didn't buy from them.

The rug arrived folded in a box and now has permanent creases. We have attempted to flatten the rug by putting it under a heavier rug and still the creases will not flatten. It has now been more than a month and I see no difference. I requested a return from Benuta and had no response and had since emailed twice after that - still no response. I escalated the dispute through PayPal and they agreed to a full refund if I returned the rug at my cost (£20). Please beware of this company.

I ordered two rugs off the site. Both looked nothing like the photographs and were bad quality.
The delivery time took longer than stated on site and the customer services response whilst trying to find out when they'd arrive was awful and unhelpful.

On returning the items I had to lug these two very heavy rugs down to a dpd point of which there were none close by. To then receive a discounted refund, they do not state they take £20 off of your payment in their returns policy & refuse to refund it.

THIS COMPANY IS MISLEADING PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

Am I the only one who has failed to receive their rug? I keep calling. Same guy on the phone every single time. And he is constantly telling me to wait another few days.

Tip for consumers:
Beware. They are fake.

Har retunerad vara. Och fått bekräftelse från DHL att företaget mottagit mattan. De går ej att ringa företaget ingen ton går fram. Går ej att mejla företaget heller, mejlen studsar tillbaka. De har ej tagit tillbaka fakturan efter att de fått mattan i retur. Oseriösa! Tror det är ett bluffföretag! Håll er borta! Handla ej! Dessa är mina råd!

They didn't deliver my order due to loosing the item. They then confuse my order with another order. 2 mo the later I'm still trying to get my money back.

The cherry on top…they are trying to deduct a return fee from what I paid which is £20.

Please save yourself the bother and go elsewhere!

When my Benita rug arrived it was rolled so tightly that there were creases in rug. There are creases and rug is loose does not look good also l am afraid of tripping on it. L really don't know what to do about it l would have returned it but we were in lockdown but very dissapointed with it.

Received a carpet that was obviously defective, with bunched knots and bundled loose fibres in the middle and borders that are not sewn straight. Benuta insists this is "normal quality" for their products and will not exchange it or pay for the return shipping. Which they propose through UPS for 20 euros (double what it cost to ship it TO me). I'm basically invited to pay them to take back factory rejects.

We ordered a rug from Benuat. They first sent us the wrong rug. We asked to have it replaced with our original order, which they said they couldn't do and said that we would need to order it again. Second, they sent us a return order for PostNL. We went to drop it off, but not a single of the PostNL drop-off point took the rug. We then called and complained that PostNL doesn't take this, so they said they had booked us with a different carrier and that the rug would be picked up. The carrier hasn't contacted us, so we complained again, and neither has the rug been picked up. Called again and asked for an acknowledgement about the carrier pick up, only to be hung up on and our number blocked. Then called from another number to be hung up on again. I am now stuck with a rug that I don't want. So I will pursue legal action for the harassment and to get my money back.

I ordered a rug from them described as a yellow shaggy rug, when it came it was a mustard colour and of very very poor quality. Basically I could of brought the same rug from off the market for a third of the price I paid them... getting intouch with them is a joke and then they want £20 to return the item. Discrase.

I wish I could give 0 stars as deeply offended after buying 4 rugs from this company the last one we bought was described as Hermitate Beige but when we received it the design was grey and mustardy green! It looked foul with a red sofa yet the company claim it is in their words "100% as presented on our website".

Benuta phone service is rude and defensive if you phone in with an issue such as this. They insist you pay to return it to Germany! Even though it is a. co.uk leading you to think it is an english company. Seriously don't fall for the cheap prices if you do not want to waste your time and be disappointed at the end.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. They send you a rug via DPD, it gets lost in transit and they don't offer any form of compensation and let you wait for weeks before you get anything.

Their customer service has robotic scripts and repeats themselves over and over again. They won't allow you to speak to their supervisors / managers as they are probably hiding behind the frontline reps.

They position themselves as a UK company dispatching from the UK, but infact from Germany. Good luck if you want to return your rug, the postage will cost more than the rug itself.

The rugs never arrived. Took me 2 months and endless hours on the telephone and emails to get my money back. Customer/complaint service did nothing to help me and never apologized for their mistake. I will never order again.

The worst service I have ever had.
The rug wasn't as described on the website. The high of the pale was much shorter than on description. The rug was very thin and cheap quality. I sent them a few pictures as an evidence but they did not care. I paid £44.95 for the small rug. After LOADS of emails I got only £25 refund back.
Its not as easy returns as they advertise. You have to take the package to a UPS location yourself or to arrange for a collection, calling UPS at 0845 7-877 877 wich was £5p a min from my mobile. Took me about 30 min in a queue.
Waste of money and waste of time. Regret now that didn't take the rug to the nearest charity shop.

I would never recommend this company. Recently ordered a rug from them that was poor quality. I spoke to customer services that said if I request a returns online it would be free, so that's what I did but they still charged me the return and they denie ever saying it. When i complained about it, the man on the phone was very rude and said I will not receive any money back. I told him that he was conning people out of money in an indirect way, as he was selling the rugs as premium quality rugs when they were of poor quality and when they sent them back they were charging a fee for it. Either way it's win win for them.
