Fast service. When I placed an order for a ring I made a mistake on the size. Contacted them right away when I realized it and they corrected the order. Ring is beautiful. Great work.

“Terrible customer service/don't buy”

I ordered from the site twice. Let me start by saying the first time I ordered I was impressed on the quickness of the delivery. To say the least the gold plated vermeil necklace I got only lasted about 3 months before getting discolored and fading. The second order also shipped very fast but looked nothing like the first order in which I just placed a repeat order thinking I would receive the same necklace. Little did I know the font was completely different and they did not type the font the way I indicated in their "text" box (what you want your necklace to read) Now the only reason I reordered was because their cheap prices. I reached out to customer service and let them know that this wasn't what I was expecting since I ordered with them before. I reached out to customer service and they just blamed me for not stating I wanted it a specific way when they sent it correct the first time. There was no attempt to fix the issue or even please the customer terrible customer service and cheap materials do not order from this site! See picture for what I'm talking about. (New necklace in all caps on left old tarnished necklace on right) if you read the receipt you can also see the way the text I indicated the way I wanted it but it was still done wrong and I was told in my first complaint they can't do lower case when I already had an old tarnished one in front of me.

We did check on this issue for Mr. Espiritu. We do have an order from this customer dated nearly 3 years ago, 2/17/2017. We did override our font offering that is featured on our site for that item, per his special request referencing a note entered as "all lowercase letters if possible". While we can not always honor a special request, we do so whenever possible. Although this is the first time we are communicating with Mr. Espiritu about the order placed 3 years ago, and have never received any complaint or concern about the plating until this review, we can state that we are always happy to offer re-plating of any item that may require that whether in or out of warranty. This information is available on our site at www.BeMonogrammed.com. Mr. Espiritu apparently placed an order recently at a sister site (not placed at Be Monogrammed - Mr. Espiritu can double check his invoice for the website ordered from). We understand from them, that there was NOT a note entered with that order, as he did with his order placed with us, requesting a font other than is specified on the site. This font is reinforced with photographs of what should be expected. Customers enter their personalization text in any combination or variety of "upper" or "lower"case text, but the item will always be produced only as featured which is a capital Gothic font (photo of the only font expected featured on the site). Any special request addressed in the notes, or requested in a pre-order email correspondence, is always considered if it can be accommodated. Hope this information is helpful.

I purchased a pair of name earrings almost 2 months ago. I did receive my earring within the shipping timeframe; however, the name was bent on one if the earrings! Let me be clear, I love the earrings but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired! I'm having to check on the status of the repair, and the tone from them as if I'm bothering them! It's now going on 2 weeks since they've had my earrings back, and I'm not sure what's going on! I purchased a name product from someone else, the name was misspelled, they immediately apologized for the error, rushed production on the new order, and now I have that product... all in less time than this has taken! I'm truly unhappy right now! Not sure if I would recommend them as far as buying any product from them!

Hi Janean. Thank you for taking the time to review. The earrings were received for repair by our studio on 7/9. They made a decision to remake the earring rather than repair, based on your concerns. We have corresponded with you several times around this issue, including the last time just this past Saturday 7/17, in which we did let you know the time frame to expect for the return. Your new earrings were sent out 7/19 and received by you a few days later. We do understand how frustrating it is to wait for personalized products and apologize. I bought a cute acrylic monogrammed necklace from here. After waiting 3 weeks, it finally arrived in the mail. I did not even have it 24 hours and the chain broke. I could not reach anyone for the company via phone so I tried email. I was told to mail it back to a different company. I am STILL waiting on getting it back. LuAnn at The Purple Mermaid would only communicate with me via email and was beyond rude. She would not reimburse me for shipping or assist in any way. There are tons of places to buy these necklaces online--STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!
