“Bekool.es is a company not to be trusted!”

Having googled New Balance trainers, various assorted pictures of the trainers appeared on the first page and having seen a particular colour (a present for a friend) that I thought my friend would like I purchased the trainers. I was initially taken to their website which at first glance looked genuine. The shoe was a Peach Khaki Yellow and Brown colour. I paid the 77 they were charging and was told the delivery would be at least 2 weeks. It was only after I had paid that I realised the senders address was from a company based in China which immediately made me nervous. I later checked my debit card statement and although I purchased in Euros the company had converted the euros to GBP and then back into euros again thus charging my card a total of 86 for no valid reason at all. So the transaction had suddenly cost me a further 9 of conversion fees. I immediately questioned the integrity of the purchase and the debit card company admitted the conversion was unusual especially when the payment started in euros and ended in euros so why the need for the conversion costs. They considered that the transaction might possibly be fraudulent. They advised that I must wait to see whether the trainers turn up. Eventually after one month sure enough I get some cheap looking copy of New Balance trainers but in an unattractive black and white colour and not resembling my order at all. The credit card company said before they can make a reclaim of my money I would need to return the shoes to the company in China. That was all very well but that was going to cost a further 22 to send them back registered & tracked post so I knew they would be signed for at the other end. I am now down 86 plus 22 so a total of 108 and I am fairly convinced I will never receive my money back or the correct shoes, which I have now bought elsewhere anyway. So be warned do not go near a website named www.bekool.es they are not to be trusted! Malcolm Shaw
