Avoid at all costs

Scammers. Take forever for items to ship with no updates. Won't cancel, refund, anything. Terrible ethics. You'll lose hundreds of dollars dealing with them! Avoid.

Like indentured servitude

I agree with the other reviewers regarding the "slippery" return policies and misrepresentation of their products on their website. My "relationship" with Beklina began with a shoe purchase. I ordered my typical size and referred to the size chart to be certain I was correct. When they arrived I could barely get these slip on clogs/sandals on my feet.
No big deal I guess- until I realized that between returning and ordering something new it cost around $50 in shipping costs. That was frustrating but I ordered something else (a pair of lace pants of their own brand) and got it over with. I checked and double checked the sizing and fit and color. When the pants arrived they weren't the same color as the pic on the website. They were beige not white as shown on the website and look like something an old lady would wear in 1975.
Here we go again- return for $25 and in order to get something new with my store credit I pay another $25 for shipping. At this point $100 for shipping and I don't have an single item in hand.
I then ordered a sweatshirt dress (from another brand- thinking this would help). It arrived- it fit and hallelujah I loved it! BUT when I washed it the first time I realized the shoulder seams were coming apart. I contacted them assuming they would refund a defective product - a really expensive defective product ($400!). They refused the refund because I had washed it. I tried to reason with them that a product at this price point should be perfect and they absolutely refused my refund. At this point I honestly gave up. I contacted the manufacturer of the dress and they happily sent me a brand new one! Moral of the story - do yourself a favor and don't "buy into" this shop. It's truly a nightmare that never ends.

Unfortunately, there appears to be an ongoing pattern of consumer reviews specific to Beklina's substandard customer service and selling previously used / returned inventory exclusive of customers knowledge and consent. Like many other consumers, I too was victim to receipt of an item that appeared defective, worn, and returned. Sadly, Beklina refused to take ownership for this problematic transaction. Thus, I promptly notified my banking institution and initiated a claim / chargeback action due to receipt of a damaged and/or previously used garment. Customers can also submit a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission who will hold a merchant liable with costly penalties if found guilty of engaging in unscrupulous business practices. BEWARE - HIGH RISK MERCHANT!

First off, their shoes run narrow! Attached is a photo of a size 8 shoe. 3 inches is incredibly narrow for any women's shoe especially a size 8. Okay, fine. Put some disclaimer in your size guide. What on principal really gets me is they gaslit me and forced me to accept a partial STORE CREDIT. They put defective goods on sale without a proper disclaimer and yet they pretend for their own interests that they are completely unaware of the shoes defectiveness and in this round about way, they are stealing from their costumers. Their rep Tiffany was just so condescending and fully disregarded every logical argument I made about their ill fitting shoes. Something I also found interesting is that they combined two separate orders I made around the same time. I paid two separate shipping labels for FLAT RATE priority shipping yet they refused to refund me my second shipping cost because of the weight…. The second order they combined was just a pair of earrings! And again they used flat rate shipping so where is the justification? They are just so petty and unscrupulous scraping every penny from their costumers. These kinds of business practices are simply thinly veiled thievery.

I love Beklina. I've made a few purchases over the last 5 years but last week I was traveling and in the area so I made a studio appointment. Before I liked Beklina, now I love Beklina. Super nice woman, helpful, and they have the most amazing new things all the time and always a great sale too. And if you're looking for a new swimsuit I highly recommend their Beklina tie suite. It really saved me. I hate swimsuits and now I have something to go to and wear and feel good in.

Love Beklina

They responded to emails and check sizes for me. They also have their own line of soft knits that I love. I've shopped there at least 4 times and have never had a bad experience.

Sold me a used product

I purchased a ring under the impression that it was a new item (since they don't sell used products) but saw on their instagram that they were wearing it beyond 'promotional' photography. I gave them the benefit of the doubt hoping that there was a second brand new piece but when I received it it was the same piece and had scratches and marks all over it. It took ages to get an email response and luckily I had paid with paypal so I initiated a dispute for a refund. She refused to provide a full refund and wouldn't compensate for shipping costs so we eventually agreed on a price for me to keep the USED product.
I would've been happy to purchase the product second hand and at a reasonable price, but to advertise and sell it at full price and as a 'new' item is dishonest and frankly a scam.
I would advise anyone purchasing from their site to use paypal, at least there is a third party to monitor the communications and you can dispute it outside of simply emailing. Needless to say I won't be shopping from them again.

I Love Beklina

Great shop! I order from them a few times a year and subscribe to their mailing list. They have the most amazing sales! (their final sale section is final sale) The quality on most their items is wonderful and they've always been really helpful and get back with me quickly. Their gifts are also super special. Wonderful small shop that I come back to again and again.

I love the designs, pictures, and descriptions - they really have a great eye. I am not sure what these people are complaining about. Beklina has always been kind, courteous, and flexible with returns/sizing issues. My guess is those people have some other axe to grind or perhaps had unrealistic expectations. Oh well - I love the rugs, clothes (especially the Lina Rennell stuff), and how easy they make it all.

Great Experience

I travel a lot and Beklina is very helpful sending me things on the road in a pinch. I love their lockets for birthday and holiday gifts, perfect gift for any female, any age from 10 to 80. Ive recommend Beklina to several friends, and theyre always pleased with their one of a kind style and down to earth customer assistance.

Wonderful Shop

One Of My Favorite Shops

I've shopped at Beklina for over 5 years. They have a beautiful selection of items I can't find where I live and their shop is just the right size, not overwhelming with pages of listings, but a really nice range and a fun place to get a gift. They also respond quickly to email questions. Their return policy is that of a small shop but they're very reasonable, personable, and have always worked with me.

No refund!

As I ordered for germany I already had high transport costs.
So of course I did not order just for fun!
I ordered a small "pillow" handmade for more than 200 Euros.
The article that arrived was a kind of xs carpet, flat, not to refill with anything that gives volume.
That was not in their description.
As I wanted to send it back the answer was not to pay the money for the article back.(of course I would have paid as my risk already two times for transport.)
That is NOT European Standard! Beklina Shop is Highly not recommendable!

They sent me the wrong item, and the sachets were so old they had no scent left in them, like they had been sitting on a shelf for years already.
I'm going to try to get a refund, but will be out for the return postage.
Very unprofessional!

Awful rude customer service, the quality of things awful! Though pictures are perfect. Overpriced! And on and on! Don't shop there. You'll loose your money and will be in bad mood.

Terrible! Ridiculous!

Terrible! Ridiculous! Their company received my shoes back from custom. Holding my shoes and didn't resend product to the customer afterward, why I can't issue me a refund? The worst online shopping experience ever! I guess I spent too much on shoes.

Beklina's prices are much higher than prices for the same item on other sites and they offer store credit only even when the item is misrepresented. You would think that they would try to compensate for the higher prices in customer service, but that's definitely not been my experience. You can do better elsewhere.

Everything on the beklina site is beautiful, but bit pricey for me, so i've been waiting for the perfect thing to make it worthwhile to make a purchase. The product i bought is fabulous, but the service i've received has been horrible. It took over a week just for my order to be processed, and they didn't respond to my inquires about the status of my order. I guess i just expect better customer service when something that bills itself as a family run store, and that deals in more upscale artisan products. Oh well not shopping here again.
