I've been doing online shopping since 1989. In the beginning of the www.I received 100's of free items in promotions. Then they started the cash back programs. I started at 2 other sites before I found BeFrugal. Overall they pay a higher percentage; an average of 2% to 6% at the stores I shop the most. I've been lucky(and did my research) to get 28% and twice I hit the 50% cash back. I love to shop! I now do most of my charity work shopping online for shelters and group homes. I'm using my own money and they are amazed at the super deals I get plus getting the cash back. At some of the sites I use, I can donate my cash back, points and other rewards directly to a list of charities registered at the sites. I'm in the process of setting up shop to teach the local charities how to do all this and more so they can take a $5.00 donation and buy at least $20 to $60 worth of goods. Every time I change the cash back website is because they try to cheat me. When I switch from ebates to befrugal I wish I could have a better experience here. At the first year they really did a good job. I don't need to keep an eye on my cash back but they gave me everything. From the second year, this become worse and worse. For anything I forgot to write a note, they start to cheat. They never cheat on the small amount activities. All the missing ones are $20 at least. I contact them to complaint then they took a long time to respond. Some activity they refuse to reimburse me for the reason either the merchant didn't pay them or it is expired. I don't feel like to use them any more. It's time to find another one
Hi David, I'm sorry to hear you're unhappy. I would recommend that you read the terms and conditions for the stores where you find you are not earning the amount of cash back you're expecting - there may be an exception you are unaware of. If these are stores where you recently began shopping, that may account for the change in cash back earnings.
Earns better cash back than other sites & can bank your cash back & order it whenever you want. I have always received my checks when promised & highly recommend them. :)

I save hundreds of dollars throughout the year by simply navigating to my online shopping cart page through BeFrugal. Before I load my cart and before I checkout, I open a BeFrugal in another tab. I look for my store to see if there are any savings and if so, I navigate to the site via the BeFrugal link, checkout and earn cash back. In November I get the cash back and use it for Christmas presents... shopping online through BeFrugal, of course.
I've been a member for over 5 years and had no issues with getting cashback credit.
But that's not their fault. They keep on top and are easy to deal with it. Been with BeFrugal for 2 years now and have received close to $1500 in cashback rebates. Not bad for doing something I'd do anyway!
I don't order a lot of stuff but it sure adds up. Also a great place to find extra coupons. I've always received my cash back even though it took longer in some cases. Didn't think it was hard to use either.

I was sent a referral link from a friend and was about to earn the necessary amount for the sign-up bonus and then a $15 as a referral bonus. One, other companies dish out the bonus after just their first purcahse ($10 threshold at befrugal).
My friend doesn't receive bonus... company states my email was used to look for laundry coupons a year ago. I have never heard/used their site until a month ago. Their solution involved me deactivating account and reinitiating... BUT you have to reearn the $10. Buying emails, anyone?
Just avoid them like the other reviewers stated. Bad experience with site and customer service. No easier way to get others to use competitors sites!

We have terms and conditions for the Refer-a-Friend program and Sign-up Bonus listed on our site (which can be seen here: https://www.befrugal.com/help/termsandconditions/#bonuses). As our support member suggested, your friend can earn a referral bonus and you can earn a sign-up bonus, per the terms, by deactivating your current account and signing up again.

Do not use. Just like previous review said. Placed several big orders where befrugal has not applied the cash back into my account justifying it by saying that, after a so called investigation, I did not use their coupons and they did not get their commission. Cheaters

This site is fraudulent. It is not user friendly and earning rebates is such an opaque process. You do things right and basically crickets after your order with no confirmation or communicating. When yiu ask them about it, they "investigate" and come back with a lame answer that they didn't get their commission (which is something you cannot verify but rely on their word) and with no other specifics or detail, you area denied your rebate. I've been an ebates user for over 10 years and never an issue. They tell you why it is denied with specifics
