Horrendous business! I hope by telling you my experience with this company, you will avoid them.
I ordered from Bedroom pleasures on the 6th of October but never received an email to say the items had been dispatched. Delivery on their website is said to take between 2-5 days so after not receiving anything 6 days later, I logged onto my account to find my order was still 'pending'. I sent an email using there contact form asking about the delay with no reply. On the 15th October I tried emailing *******@bedroompleasures.co.uk (an email address on their website at the time) but it kept bouncing back. I work full time so finding time to contact them on the phone between 9.00am & 5.30pm Mon-Fri was difficult. In the end I found another email address on their website for press enquiries (*******@bedroompleasures.co.uk) to which I finally got a reply from *******@bedroompleasures.co.uk on the 16th October.
This was there reply:
‘Hello,
Thank you for your email.We did send you an email but it seems like you never received this.
I am really sorry about the delay with your order. One of the items you have ordered unfortunately went out of stock and it is coming back in on Friday so your order is being shipped then for you.
Thank you so much for your patience and sorry for any inconvenience caused.'
I emailed them back telling them I wanted my order cancelled on the 17th October.
This was there reply spelling errors and all:
‘Thank you for your email.
I can confirm that i have cancelled your order for you now and we are truely sorry in regards to this. Please allow 7 working days for the refund to be processed.
Sorry for any inconvenienec caused.'
I still hadn't received my refund after 8 working days so on the 29th October I emailed them again. They replied telling me once again they were sorry for the delay and that it would be passed to the accounts department for my refund to be processed immediately.
Finally on the 8th of November I did receive my refund, over a month after placing my order.
If you're still chasing yours, don't give up. Don't let them take money for items you haven't received without a fight.
