The following is an email discussion I am currently having with BeckyDress after my daughters prom dress came back HORRIBLY constructed:
Dear Jenny,
That you assume other dresses I have purchased were "ready made dresses sold on the street" is not only presumptuous, but insulting and unwarranted. I have no doubt there is cost associated with making a dress. However, I asking only for what any dissatisfied customer would. While it may have been the "correct" dress, It was horribly constructed. I would hope that a business which takes pride in its product and reputation in having "to deal with the returned/unwanted dresses since we need to make new dresses for every customer". This type of issue would be an exception rather than a common occurrence. Jenny, In good faith have I have paid for a dress that did not deliver on its promise. It is only reasonable that I am refunded for this failure.
I cannot express how disappointed I am with this back and forth haggling. Please do what you must know is right, and issue a full refund.

Dear customer
Please Note that Our dresses are all made to order, different from the ready made dresses selling on the street. Once we start to make a dress, there is a cost needed to put in. And it is very hard to deal with the returned/unwanted dresses since we need to make new dresses for every customer and the maintenance is also a cost(the dresses would cause more or less damages after many times of shipping and also the time). We do not accept the returns if we send the right dresses as the specifications in the order to the customers.
If she is not planing to wear it, you could give it to someone like a family or friend who could wear it or sell it on ebay like some people do. We would like to offer you a 15% discount for the dress. How about you think my idea?
Thanks
Jenny

Dear Jenny,
As a customer, I am very disappointed in your response. As I explained in my previous email, the stitching was uneven, bubbly and warped. Jenny, we really believed we were buying a beautifully made dress. Having purchased many dresses in the past, it is clear a steam iron is not the solution to an obvious stitching problem. I've had two (2) daughters already go to prom in dresses that did not have to be fixed. As for the uneven, and warped stitching, this dress was purchased with the idea it would be made correctly. Jenny with all respect due to you, I haven't the time to hope a seamstress will correctly "fix" a dress they did not design. Besides this dress shouldn't need to be "fixed" at all. I am forced by this to buy an alternative. I would just like to have a refund.
Sincerely,
Cynthia

Dear customer
Thanks for your pictures, As for the bubbly, The dress needed to be folded in the package due to the shipping convenience. You could press the dress or use the steamer iron to make it flat.As for the uneven stitching, We suggest you to fix the dress at the local place. We would like to give you USD 20 for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Jenny

Dear sir or ma'am,
I am extremely unhappy with the dress I received yesterday, which is supposed to be for my daughter's prom. Included below, are close-up photos showing bubbly, warped, and uneven stitching. We really believed we would be getting a beautifully made dress. What we received instead, is very upsetting. As a result of this, I am now forced to find an alternative, and hereby request a full refund.
Don't Do it!!! Save your money!!!!! I will create a Facebook page with photos of this TERRIBLY constructed mess!
sorry my photos are in my phone but if I am not refunded, I will do this TWICE weekly until I am satisfied they know I am serious.
