“Fake profiles, fake messages, make you pay for any communications”

Just use Feabie or something else. If the website wasn't completely based on lies, it might be a worthwhile site to go on. Maybe if you didn't have to pay to do something as basic as sending messages, you might have more people willing to stick around. Don't let them tell you otherwise. They bait you into buying a subscription with fake messages, but once you sign up, you get nothing. It's a classic cheat business strategy by dating sites. The site is a scam.

Waste of time and untrustworthy men on the site falsely claiming to be single and unmarried
Encountered several scammers and lying cheating men. Needless to say avoid this site. They claim to monitor for bad customers with profiles that are misleading or false, but they do nothing at all, as I have reported this several times. All they care about is taking the money and ignoring complainnts.

They scam your information under the guise of data safety. My sister signed up for this for me, used her card, they requested my drivers license so i provided it-a means of confirming my identity. We got an email wanting her authorization for me to use the card, a picture of the card, and her license. We checked the email address it was listed on the site, had no rerouting, any issues like that. So we provided them what they wanted--my sister and i even have the same address on our drivers license. I got an automated email saying it went through no more worries. Then got an email from customer service saying "We are sorry to inform you that we are not able to accept payments made on your behalf by another person in this occasion" and supposedly would be refunded. Then a charge is put through for $280, $69, and then $79, each time my sister having to respond as fraud before they blocked it completely. They are using the company to get peoples info do not give it even if it looks legit.

Tip for consumers:
it said refund we haven't gotten it and have been scammed by them on top of it

I found that most of the guys that contacted me on this site were very pushy to text using my real phone number or other platform instead of trying to get to know me a little first. I was VERY clear I was interested in LTR only - not hookups, but I suspect most men on there only care about casual hookups. Huge turn off for me. It was a gross experience for me. Another experience where a bigger woman is being taken advantage of or not being respected for who she is. Very sad.

Dear J N,
We apologize for your unwelcoming experience. We have zero-tolerance towards members of the nature you described. Unfortunately, it is extremely hard for us to verify the real intentions of the members as most dating sites do not require any form of formal identification to register and most members use their private email address to communicate with members.
It is very sad that a small minority of dishonest people will make such a negative impression of our site, as the vast majority of the members registered with us are honest.
We do our best to remove these people from our site, deleting any profiles showing dubious photos or information, as soon as we see them, however, we also rely on our valued members who kindly report to us any suspect or fake profiles they find on our site.
In addition, Our fraud prevention team works 24/7 to remove non-genuine profiles. If you would like to report a suspicious profile, please submit a ‘report abuse’ form or contact us at www.bbwcupid.com/en/help/helpdesk

Not only is there women asking for money. But the website itself will rip you off. Their subscription is $35.00/ month. Disabled their auto-renewal. They still charged me but this time $80.00. I didn't know about this action until my bank's fraud department notified me. If you are a man don't pay for this site.

I am from Romania i did account here for the ladies. But after 1 week time they blocked me because they say: i was not there to find someone. How they come to this conclusion i don't know.! I did another account. They blocked my payment telling me to bring proof of owner card funds and so on. Like WHAT? I had Diamond like 65 $ 2 paid accounts. So be careful think twice after you make account here.
I will post this review on all major platforms. They have a lot of people there woman. After you talk to them asking money to send and stuff like this. I notified few users people doing this. They ask for proof and print screen. Since when my private talk i need to make print screen?

So they BBW cupid blocked my account and take my money. Not even able to delete my personal information is there everybody to see it. Payment done. All was legit but i did not to give them any more details.
The account was even made with KYC verification to have 100 % account done.
So bad experience yes
Also platform in year 2023 has no option to send any image nothing.
After you start talking outside the platform some or a lot of the ladies there ask money for various reasons.
So platform take money ladies want you're money...

Tip for consumers:
No refund. Blocked 2 times and took the money

They said my account was compromised, when I hadn't even finished filling out the profile information. It took 2 months for them to get it set up and I had to send additional identifying information along with a new email. So I try to login with the new email and the auto-emails started again asking for all the additional identifying information. I do NOT recommend this site to anyone that is trying to protect their personal information

I received two email notifications that I created an account. They both said "Dear Grace..."
I am a 50-year-old married man who has never seen or heard of this website. This appears to be a fishing expedition on BBWCupids' part. I would really like to know where they got my work email.

I'm not about to click on either of the links that say;
"You have received this email because you are a member of BBWCupid.com. Unsubscribe
Didn't create this profile? Switch off account

Why would a reputable website have an option that says "Didn't create this profile?" The FCC will be getting this report as well.

Tip for consumers:
Dont have any information about this site. I received two emails stating that I had created an account when I have never even heard or been to such a site.

My experience has been poor every man that wants to just sext or have phone sex the first thing out of their mouth is asking how big my chest or my behind is instead of actually finding out about me. I guess it's a site for them to explore their big girl fetishes but this is not the sight for me.

So, I am recently single and starting to look for new people to maybe date and meet. I signed up, did my profile, sent my license for verification, and filled everything out.

Basically, my profile said what I said, that I am open to casual dating, long term dating, but not looking to just jump back in w/ someone. The very next day I went to log in and was told my account was permanently suspended for not wanting to immediately match with a relationship... which is sort of insane. Now looking at all these other reviews, I probably should have researched this site a bit more before I sent them my license.

I saw that message, LOL'ed, deleted my password manager login to their site, reported the six emails they'd sent me in a few hours as spam, and I somehow will move on w/ my life now. :D

I normally check Sitejabber or Yelp for reviews before signing up for a dating site due to past experiences, but I fumbled the ball on this one. The men on here don't read the profile after they look at your picture. They just leave a message without checking for compatibility. They want you to send your number instead of just swapping numbers which is a huge red flag for me. Then you can't filter according to your area, age, preference in what type of relationship you are seeking. I had this one man that stated he could not recall what my profile said but could remember what I looked like, and asked me what I was seeking. When I told him a friendship that had the potential to lead into more and this was stated in my profile, his response was, hmm. (Here is another one not reading my profile). He then proceeded to try and steer the conversation to s-x after only the second day of speaking with him on the phone and proceeded to accused me of not being exciting enough because I would not indulge him and it was just "adult talk". WT-? We are in the initial stages of communicating and have not even met yet. This late 50's man used emoji's as a form of communicating with me but in my observation it was to avoid answering certain questions about himself especially when it came to marital status. I told him he would be wasting his time on me, but it was me that did not want my time wasted with the constant text messages that I was trying to decode. I felt as though I was communicating with a 13 year old. I don't know which was worse, the stupid emoji's or his broken grammar in these text messages, yet he claimed to have a Bachelors degree. I would guess about 70-80% on this site are not seeking anything serious, so ladies think twice before handing over your money. Thank goodness I only paid for one week but even $1.00 to this site is too much. Never again.

Tip for consumers:
Ask a lot of questions and be alert when you don't see the status regarding their living arrangement or they avoid the question when asked.

I live in the second largest country in the world. One coast is a 12 hours of driving away, the other coast is 67 hours away. I set my range to be 50 km(30 mi.) from my home, and looked at the first 22 profiles before finding one in my country. After looking through the entire 359 "potential dates" on offer I found only another 8 from my country, none that could be reached by car in a single days drive. Whomever programmed this egregiously bad site should begin practicing the phrase " would you like fries with that!" An almost useless waste of money, I can't think of a single soul that I dislike enough to recommend this site to!

Tip for consumers:
It doesn't seem to be a scam, just a terrible waste of time and money!

I have been a longtime free user of BBWCupid, until this year and I tried a week. That was a mistake. I got responses from scammers, all over the world. A common tactic is to get you off the Cupid Media text system, which is lousy, and on to whats app. I eventually figured out the scam and it was a guy pretending to be female. However, after I let my account lapse back to free user, I still was the target of scam activity. This time upgraded bogus accounts with beautiful women, "too good to be true" started sending messages for my matrimony. I report the profile and it comes back, usually from the same country. So, I asked support for help blocking the scammers country. Nope, Cupid Media believes scammers have the right to target you and you must inhibit each one individually. That Sucks. It means The user must actively block. I can't even GeoFence to my state or city. So, Cupid media is a time waster and not even worth pay for. I ask the women that go for long term upgraded accounts and Its scammers that contact them. Not recommended, unless there's facetime, over coffee.

And when unsubscribing from sites your private information gets sold to various other sites that use the previous spam site just to continue to filter the same spam material that you're told through unsubscribing that you have to wait a certain period of time before unsubscribe is put through. At this point I don't care which site sent what. No one has any right to a person's private gmail unless we are granted access to personal private gmail accounts so we as account holders can sit up late into the night spamming their private gmail accounts. Create a do not contact list. And place gmail accounts on them as soon as they contact pillars. It not the responsibility of separate individuals to deal with massive pillering accounts that refuse to relinquish personal and private information. Just to push fake products and scam sites through to gmail accounts. We as gmail holders realize google doesn't check sites to see if they are legitimate. The only benefit from google not checking means that scam site owners and employees receive spam gmails too Have a good one

I was signing up for an account for on this site. Within 10 minutes of setting up my email and my password, I started filling out the profile information and uploaded three photos. All of this took 9 minutes. Imagine my surprise when I was logged out.

I thought it was kind of weird, so I go back to login only to pop up a screen that says that my account has been blocked for fraud. And that I can contact their customer service.

So I go ahead and I email their customer service, and I get a email response back asking for a copy of my driver's license. I sent an email back explain that I'm not really comfortable sending out my driver's license because it could be used for fraud, but that I would be happy to block out my driver's license numbers and things of that information. I have not heard back.

The whole situation seemed to very sketchy and weird to me. How could my account be marked as fraudulent and shut down within less than 10 minutes of creating an account on the website? I hadn't even had a chance to interact with anybody because it was marked so quickly.

So the email address that the customer service will email you from is from Zendesk? That seemed kind of weird as well.

I went ahead and included both screenshots below. That also indicate the timestamps in between how quickly I was alledgedly marked as a suspicious account.

I'm really happy that I decided to read the reviews on this website before providing them with my driver's license. Because now I can see that this is not an isolated incident, and it looks like something scammy.

I used to work for this scam company.

All the reviews are accurate, we scam people for money and when the money runs out we cry to Dan Andrews who shut down Sittr because he has invested in the company with Covid money meant for the people in Victoria, Australia. He also gave Covid money to Jason and Maureen who own the site called Sexyads.

Andrews shut down Sittr because it's well known that he has used prostitutes during Covid and is currently having to pay a prostitute who has a photograph of his penis as collateral. She met and had sex with him, breaking Covid laws at the time, he tried to 'get it' for free, she refused and he got angry. She got smart and now Andrews' is a sad, fat, micro-penised guy.

Anyway, 90% of the photos are fake and there's no guarantee of replies from people - most people even with Gold and Platinum memberships are fake as well.

Tip for consumers:
A tip - don't use, you're only funding Dan Andrews and scammers who should be in Prison.

So, being new to dating larger women, I thought I would give this site a try. STAY AWAY! So many toxic, racist, entitled women, full of fake profiles and obvious scammers on this site. In my experience thus far, most women on this site weren't looking for a "good man", the qualities of a good husband, boyfriend or possible father to future kids. What I encountered was most of these women were looking for the ideas of what a man is supposed to be. Most women I know in real life gave my looks an 8/10 with a good personality to match but the women on here are completely unrealistic. Unless you're perfect don't even bother gentlemen which I found highly ironic by the way, seeing how a lot of these women wanted so much in a partner that them themselves don't even have half of. Even the women I did talk to were just plain delusional. They had unresolved issues, entitled, and with monstrous tempers. I found most of the women on here to be so full of themselves that they came across as booshie, vain and stuck up and result of those people are on this site. I'm guessing that they might have thought that their dream lover was on here and that things would be different, a case were the "grass is greener on the other side" which is really sad because I do feel that this could be a great website for people to come together to truly establish a relationship. Oh and don't even get me started on the fake profiles and the scammers on here. BBW Cupid, I hope in the future you can take more time to screen the people you admit on your site and remove profiles that are either fraudulent or inactive. Gents, look elsewhere and save your money.

I came on the site hoping to connect with people who wanted a relationship but received so many emails just for hookups (even though I specifically said no hookups/fwb) and there was no way to filter them! I'm in Canada and getting messages from all over the world! How does that help me? There's no way to choose who can message me or prevent creeps from having access to me. This is a profoundly unsafe site. Even their reporting function is useless! I have to email them to report someone? I told two guys I wasnt interested and they were rude and used foul language. Their response was to give me an incident report And to tell me to block them. Duh! I figured that out on my own. Women need more to be safe on an online dating site. This is clearly a male-centred, sex-centred and misogynistic site. Even more, it is such a user-unfriendly site. They're getting a poor review from me everywhere I can make one.

Update:
They have now confirmed they will not give me a refund even though I have not made any matches and am not using their site. Just opening an email is enough for them to refuse to refund you. SCAM!

Update: they finally gave me a full refund after I threatened to report them to the authorities.
