Purchased the Eames Chair and footstool for over 1,300.00; when put together the backing is crooked by about 3/4 inches. We sent pictures after they requested them, and have had zero response. We are very savvy with assembling and tools; I noticed right away that the chair sat crooked. There's only one way to assemble the chair.

I've called Barcelona Design at least a dozen times with a simple question about their product. Only one time did someone answer the phone (and even then she told me she'd direct my inquiry to the "correct person", who- surprise! - never called back.) Every other attempt I made, the "mailbox if full" so leaving a message is impossible. How can this be a real company if they do not have a people answering inquires? Imagine if you actually purchased something and had an issue. It would be IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of this company.

I purchased an "Eames" chair from them a month ago. The chair which was supposed to be delivered in a couple of days finally arrived after 2 weeks in a package that was not in a good shape.
I then noticed that the furniture was used and repackaged with many signs of tears and wears! I tried to contact them multiple times by calling them, you guessed it, no one answers!
I finally contacted them via their chat. They asked me to send pictures to their support email. I sent the pictures over 2 weeks ago. Only once they responded "We are working hard to make sure you get a reply as soon as possible.". That was 10 days ago and no one responds anymore to the email or on their chat. They just continue bombarding me with their promotional emails.
The chair's quality is not great either considering the price you pay for it.
Again, beware of them!

I bought a chair in December, which according to them they had in stock. They sent me an email that they could deliver it to me just in February because that color did not exist, if the color changes they would deliver it in 2 weeks, I changed it, they accepted my change and I am still waiting for the chair, when I wrote them again they told me that they had canceled my order but never got my money back

I would give them zero stars, but you cannot on this review!. It has been one month since i placed my order and have not received the order and they have my money. I have tried to contact a Mr. Benjamin Cortez their customer service manager to no avail. They seem a nice polite company via their chat system, but fake. They give you a multitude of excuses why the products have not been shipped. They will never call you, they use the chat as their defense buffer.

I purchased a Tall Eames lounge chair replica back in November, giving Barcelona Designs the benefit of the doubt, despite the many negative reviews widely available. From the jump, the red flags were endless. While I hoped I'd have a positive experience I have not. After taking 4 months to ship, the chair finally arrived. Not only was it not the Tall version I had ordered, it was also damaged and missing a vital piece, making an already low chair, sit just inches off the floor. For a $1,700. Chair there is literally ZERO customer service. While I've managed to connect to ONE "person" via their chat, there has been no follow-up other than "we are forwarding your inquiry to the correct dept." I could go on and on with the details but the moral to the story is really buyer beware. So many problems... The one shining light in this whole debacle is that I purchased the chair through via AMEX and they've been able to stop payment and file a dispute. Definitly would not purchase from here ever again, and would express caution to their partner company Manhatten Home Design.

Chair is nice looking, good quality and comfortable. The flaw is the arm rests you need to install. The threaded holes are basically stripped when you try to line up the screws. Screws are not as long as they should be to line up the arm rest and the metal plate and secure them together. Going to the hardware store to find linger version of screw and locktight so arms won't fall off. That is a cheap/lazy shortcut on the part of the manufacturer, and is disappointing for an otherwise very nice chair.

Order 2 times from them already. High quality materials, especially with leather. I have a couple of Madrid Chairs and I am planning to complete my living room with a Wegner. Good quality renditions. Delivery guys could be a little less grumpy next time :)

Ordered a reproduction Eames chair. Received an order confirmation and card was charged. No communication for many weeks. Finally an email promising delivery that never came. I contacted my credit card company and contested the payment. Scammed!

Buyer beware. This is a scam furniture website. No customer service, no delivery tracking. It's a scam

The company advertised their chair and ottomon on Pinterest. The site looked professional. Price was in line with expectations, cart checkout was without any obvious indications of anything that should make one suspicious of the business. After immediately realizing I made an error in my selection (doh!), I used their feedback tool (it was evening in California and they were closed). I received a ticket number. I thought 'great, they have their act together'. That was wrong. I call them the next mornong to follow up. First, the phone rings for 15. Minutes. No answer, no voicemail. I call back. I get a young sounding woman who tells me she has no receipt of my message. I forward the ticket response to her. She confirms receipt and tells me the manager must approve the cancel /adjustment. I say OK. She says he will call me back. Day goes by, no call. I call back first thing Friday, no answer. Voicemail picks up. It's full. Disconnect. I send more emails. No response. Today is Monday. I call again at 10am est. No answer. No working voicemail. 6pm est I get an email product is shipping! Despite many attempts at caring and email to stop the shipment, it arrives.

NOW The good news is, product was packed very well. It arrived very quickly. The item assembled easily. It looks great and is very comfortable (and they did send me the item I actually wanted though they didn't communicate that.
The reality is, the store is seemingly legit. The item we got we like and we feel good about the purchase in the end. The bad news is the really delayed comms leave a new customer with an uneasy feeling. So YMMV. I would have liked to give this site 4+ stars but for the communications which resulted in much more agitation than it should have.

I ordered the Eames chair and Ottoman back in early October. At the time, I was told that the chair was back ordered, but I'd receive it by Nov 6. Today is November 17. I received an email from customer service on Nov 9 with a link to shipping information. The link doesn't work- it refers to a non-existent website. Further, the tracking number is invalid. I sent several emails to customer service with no response. I've called them several times now for the past 8 days only to be told (each time) that the order "will ship tomorrow" and I will get an updated tracking number.

This is starting to smell a lot like a scam. I'm contacting my credit card provider and contesting the charges.

I ordered an Eames Chair on June 29th. Got order receipt and tracking number from FedEx. It was delivered to wrong address. Confirmed this with Fedex and they were unable to retrieve item. Since delivery is insured I expected a replacement or refund. Emailed customer service and was told I would be getting a replacement by early November. So far NOTHING. Latest email from customer service states the item was again delivered. Unbelievable. Now I am out $1700. 00. I reached the conclusion that this is a SCAM. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Ordered an Eames chair online 4/5/2017. NO response for 3 days, then generic "order received" email. On 4/12 charges for chair appeared. Got an order number, but no indication of delivery. Several calls/emails-no response. Finally got someone on phone, got runaround, item on backorder. Asked for refund, told it had to be done by email. Emails deemed "undeliverable due to site being shut down"... alsosite says products made in U.S.-not so-made in China! Biggest purchasing mistake of my life!

Unable to get armrests onto a chair for an "80% assembled chair". They say they always recommend professional installation but do not show that on the site. Next they refer to a youtube clip from China that does not even show the installation of the Eames chair armrests. Pathetic.

Working in real estate I must say that quality stands out beyond big names or brands. Barcelona's furniture is really good stuff and I plan on using it in my next projects. Recommended.

I chose a sofa model that I had been wanting to add to my living room. The product arrived on time and in good condition. I think I'm going to buy here the floor lamp as well.

Chair finally arrived at the correct address
(Had to make 3 tries to get them to put the correct delivery address that we had requested on the shipment)
Chair was devoid of any and all hardware for assembling
Also headrest upright broken
Informed customer service of the issue
Also filed a report on line with Fed Ex
Customer Service can not or will not resolve this issue.
If this is the way they do busisness then they disperse to be out of busisness

I never wanted to buy furniture online because I was afraid they would send me something that didn't meet my expectations. The modular sofa I bought was at a slightly lower price than another website. I don't regret buying it here - the sofa is as nice ans in the images.

We recently bought a Barcelona chair replica from Barcelona Designs. They provided a wide range of options and ideas to help us refine our selection. Their prices are really good, I have not seen much better at least not in this area. Delivery was on time and they took care of setting up
We had one issue with the chair, We got it resolved quickly. He was as friendly and helpful as when we were making the purchase. Talk about great service.

I bought this chair for my home office, having had a black Barcelona chair for a couple of years in my lounge. They work brilliantly in each decor and I am delighted with this white version from Barcelona-Designs. The price is fantastic and I received it really quickly. It came really well packaged, and ready built. All in all an investment and I couldn't be happier. It's obvious why it's a design classic. Thank you so much.
