Bald-No-More

Thanks to all of you at Bald No-More for your help and support in the past month. As you know, I seriously started to go bald when I was 16, and when I was 24 I had a very unsuccessful hair transplant, which left scars on the top of my head on the recipient site, and circles at the back of my head where the plugs of hair were removed. I am in my early sixties now, and have spent most of my adult life conscious of the scarring. Latterly wearing my hair as short as possible, shaving the isolated plugs that were now an 'island' on the top of my head, the sides short but the back a little longer to hide the donor site scars. I feel my scalp has now been returned to me: has become part of me again. I had my final treatment 4 days ago, and everything is settling in well. I feel more confident. Most people who commented, thought that I had cut my hair short ( I shave my whole head daily now), or said how good I look compared to before the treatment, asking what I had done to myself. Most of the scarring is now disguised, and my hairline has a uniform look. I especially like the sides, where I cannot remember ever having had hair, but adds so much to a well-groomed look. Thanks to you all for treating me so kindly, and helping me through my initial concerns. I was worried I might be making a third error after wearing a wig at 19, then having the transplant. It was in fact, third time lucky: i feel much happier and relaxed now. Andre, David, and of course Maddy, thank you all so much Martin

I'm sorry to say that I had a bad experience with these guys. The work was very bad and I later found out from another clinic that their 'before and after' pics were actually taken from another site. I wouldn't recommend them at all - go to one of the more established clinics who are happy to show you pictures and videos of their clients so that you can get an idea of what the end result will be as mine is terrible. I will say in their defence that they refunded me entirely due to the nature of the mistakes made.
