I ordered a new ceiling fan from Bailey Street Home and a downrod to attach it to the vaulted ceiling in my bedroom. I mis-measured the downrod length so the item I received wasn't long enough, so I contacted Bailey's customer service to request a return and refund. Long story short, their Customer Service team (namely Ms. Ann Magat and Mr. Daniel Williams) did a great job assisting me with my inquiry, even following up when I was not able to respond to emails for several days due to circumstances. I received my refund in a timely manner. I really appreciate their help and would definitely order from Bailey Street Home again due to their great service.

Unlike other large e-commerce businesses, this company does not provide a return label when returning product. You will receive an RMA number, take you product to a shipping company ie.-post office,FedEx, UPS. You pay the shipping costs, mine was $86 and then you have to fill out a form online with the tracking number because they don't provide return labels. I returned 2 light fixtures to Build.com and it cost me $17. From now on, I will not buy from Bailey Street or any other e-commerce business with these return policies.

Unlike other large e-commerce businesses, this company does not provide a return label when returning product. You will receive an RMA number, take you product to a shipping company ie.-post office,FedEx, UPS. You pay the shipping costs, mine was $86 and then you have to fill out a form online with the tracking number because they don't provide return labels.
I returned 2 light fixtures to Build.com and it cost me $17. From now on, I will not buy from Bailey Street or any other e-commerce business with these return policies.

Tip for consumers:
They do not provide return labels. The customer has to pay return shipping which cost me $86

I found the light fixtures that were perfect for my bathroom revamp. They arrived quickly and I was thrilled. When we opened them to have them installed, one globe was broken, the glass had a hole and it happened in the box because the broken glass was still in the box. I made several phone calls (waited for 2 hours and never talked to anyone), emails, and reported the return needed. Never heard back from anyone. It has been several months and still the only reply I received was the automated, we got your message and will be in touch...

Customer Service makes or breaks a company, this is so poor. I know things are crazy, but to never even follow up and address my issue is ridiculous after 4 months.

No project can be completed in 30 days. By the time I prepared and planned out the rest of these two light fixtures, I was on day 38 since I received the product. I requested a return and I was told I exceeded the 30 day policy. I would NOT have purchased from this seller had I realized I only had 30 days to return them if anything came up. Something came up. I am stuck with $400 of lights that I was told to just sell online. I don't know why they won't take them back - but for $400 I will never purchase anything from these guys again. They also didn't respond to my request the first time - completely ignoring it.

We bought a fan and it was defective and we were denied our return and received an email saying we can contact the manufacturer. Also you can not talk to anyone on the phone. It is chat only.

I thought I was purchasing a wicker ottoman for 145.00 because in my search for an ottoman,, and with all the other ottomans, Bailey Street had a photo of an ottoman with cushion. After I place the order and was reading the description more closely and I realized it was only the cushion! I immediately called the number provided to cancel the order and they were closed. I Called again today, per the message they have, and again, closed. It is Saturday. However when I looked up my order status, the cushion was sent today. So they can't take calls to cancel the order but they can hurry up and send a 145.00 cushion. I'm sure they see enough busy people who just take the overpriced cushion because they don't want to spend their precious time sending it back. My fear is that when I send it back I will have to pay some huge fee for shipping. (Shipping is ridiculously expensive.) I do a lot of online ordering and businesses seldom bill immediately and ship out within hours. It seems like a scam to stick me with a purchase I don't want. I will follow up this review with another review stating whether or not they cover the shipping, or if I end up getting screwed because I didn't read the description closely enough.

I purchased a plant stand from this company. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the description. I returned the item per the instructions they provided. There was a RGA # provided, however, no shipping return label. Their Free Return Policy states orders over $200 they will pay the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the item was $411. I took the item to FedEx and I ended up having to pay $108.27 to return the item. This is false advertising. I plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Do not buy anything from this Company.

However, we noticed that you had already shipped the item back before contacting us. The email containing the return instructions clearly stated the following guidelines:
"IMPORTANT:
-Please ensure careful packaging of the merchandise to prevent any damage.
-The package must be returned in its original carton, including all packaging materials and accessories.
-The merchandise should not have been installed or altered in any way.
-Kindly refrain from writing on the box.
-Refunds for returned products cannot exceed the originally charged amount.
-Any original shipping charges incurred are not eligible for a refund.
-Once you have shipped the item(s), please provide us with a valid tracking number for proper tracking, delivery confirmation, and timely credit processing. Proof of delivery will be required before issuing the credit."
Had we been contacted prior to the shipment, we would have promptly provided you with the necessary return labels. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund for the shipping cost that has already been paid.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding caused. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

I placed an order for two sconces on Wednesday, 5/30 because of their same day shipping or get $50 claim in hopes of receiving the lights ASAP. I called customer service one week later because I hadn't receive any information about shipment. I waited for over 25 minutes and the only information they could give me was that they would email shipping information in two days. I get shipping information two days later on 6/2 thinking the lights would be sent soon, but the shipping status has not been updated and it's been 4 days already.

Beware of their same day shipping or get $50 claim. It's deceiving! Yes, I received my $50 credit but I still don't have any lights.

Also, I've emailed Bailey Street Home SEVERAL times and they have not responded. And their customer service phone line always has a very long wait.

I WOULD NOT recommend that you order from Bailey Street Home. Horrible experience.

They've had my money for more than a week and cannot yet tell me when the product might be delivered. I sincerely regret having made this purchase. From what I've been reading, this appears to be standard, including lack of access to real people for customer service. Had I just gone to Home Depot or such, my light would have been installed a week ago.
BTW, I would have given NO STARS if the site would have allowed it.

Placed order. Received the BOX quickly. Contents were nowhere NEAR what I ordered (See pictures - ordered silver/purple, received rust with purple back and RED shades!). Contacted company immediately. They requested pictures, which I sent immediately. NO RESPONSE. I have emailed 3 more times, still, NO RESPONSE. I have a light I cannot use and want to return/replace, but cannot get ahold of anyone. SHAM/SCAM should've known better than to order with them.

This was my first and will be my last time shopping with Bailey Street Home! I received a damaged clock and requested a replacement. I received an email requesting pictures. I sent in pictures and a video of the clock with no response. I called customer service the rep said she would submit a ticket and someone would reach out to me via email within 24 hrs. I never received an email. Called back…same response. Buyers be ware… if you receive a damaged item, don't expect the replacement or refund process to go smoothly! I will NEVER shop with this company again!

Purchased a damaged clock. Impossible for returns or replacements! It’s been a week since my request. I sent a picture and video of the clock as requested and I have not received a response! This was my first and will be my last time shopping with this company. I will never shop with Bailey Street Home again! Long hold times which I had to expierence a few times. I made my intial order with my wrong credit card and called right after to update it and they told me they couldn't. This is something that is very easy to do on an Amazon or Wayfair order. I ordered two chairs which I hardly used over the year. One of them totally fell apart when someone was getting up a year and 2 weeks after my order. I called them hoping they could do something (maybe a discounted replacement or replacement parts) and they kept repeating it's over the warrenty so there is nothing we can do. I was not looking for a full refund. I prefer to order from companies that are reasonable and try to work with their customers when they sell a product that falls apart with limited use in a short period of time.

If you're looking for quality or service, I would order from someone else.

I received a candle holder with a big chip in it. I immediately requested a replacement. I received an email asking me to send pictures, which I did. I have followed up with three emails. I tried to call but was put on hold for over 20 minutes. They have not responded since the initial request for pictures. I will NEVER buy anything from them again, and I encourage everyone to stay away!

On 5/1 I purchased a mirror that was advertised as being "in stock" and "Ships in within 24-48 hours". I kept checking for shipping confirmation and a week or so later got a message saying it was delayed until 6/10... then 6/10 came and I had a message that it was delayed until 7/10. Then 8/10... now the message says delayed until further notice. False advertisement saying it was in stock and guaranteeing delivery. No one ever answers phones and no response to any of the emails I have sent. This is a scam company. They had no problem charging my debit card on 5/1. If I could give zero stars I would. No only has this been a disappointment because I do not have the promised/purchased product but I had now spent hours calling, emailing, and checking to see where it is. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I ordered a lumbar pillow cover that was advertised as being blue and mustard in color. When it arrived, it is definitely not blue, but is gray and mustard. I had bought it to go with a blue and mustard stripped comforter and it will not work with it, but I am going to keep it anyway and try to use it somewhere else in my house. The description of the product should be revised to accurately reflect the colors of the item. It is a beautiful pillow cover, but just not blue and mustard that I had hoped I would receive.

I loved the pillow cover and if the colors had been as described, it would have been perfect. I ordered the pillow cover as it was a great price and was exactly what I was looking for in a throw pillow cover.

I thought the colors were going to be blue and mustard. In the photo on your website, it says it is blue and mustard and that is what the colors appear to be; however that is not the case. Go pull one out of your stock and see what I mean. You would have to be color blind to think the gray is blue!

Receive 3 of the four lights not broken. Since July, it's now October we have 3 new lights and one old one that is a 100% different. The glass was broken and they told me a replacement order was out in, over a month goes by and I call and they tell me it will be in stock Sept 24. On September 25 I get an email saying it'll be mid November. This is unacceptable service. I requested a full return and they refused. I put a dispute in to PayPal and they finally tell me they will send a whole new light. I don't care I just want a complete set of four outdoor lights and waiting more than four months to resolve is unacceptable. If I don't have a full set I will dispute again and report to the better business bureau. I've had better service from Wayfair and Overstock!

Tip for consumers:
Go anywhere else. Customer Service is a nightmare.
