I was a paying customer for less than a week before I deleted my profile. Baddoo is a haven for criminals and scammers. Every single person that contacted me was a scammer and not from my country even though had the filter set to a 50 mile radius. When I viewed the scammer's profile they were years old, which told me Baddoo does not police their site and made a den of thieves. This site is not safe and should be banned from the United States.

Yes, this site is prone to get some scammers or fakes. However, I've had a lot less issues here than other sites. I've managed to meet some great people and I've recommended it to friends. These people were educated, charming, and being a busy student then professional; I felt I wasn't just seeing the same jobless duds as on other sites. They get 4 starts because I wish there were ways to prohibit messages from people based on amount of words used. Getting,"hey, hi, sup" only is irritating. Also, i had issues with 1 guy creating 12(literally, 12) profiles to stalk me. If they could block based on IP address it wouldn't be so bad.

Badoo is a paradise for scammers and you will really have to invest a lot of time and patience until you find any real girls. But sometimes it can be well worth it. I have met several nice girls on Badoo but always use your common sense. Also keep in mind that it can be very useful and smart to us emore than one dating site at a time. Mingle2day is absolutely fantastic and well worth trying, I have used Mate1 too and it seems to be ok too. Just try to figure out which site you like the best.

I received an e-mail from Badoo saying... You have Badoo Premium!

Congratulations, you have now achieved a special status on Badoo with Badoo Premium subscription!
We have charged 65.99 to your iDeal account.

So I wrote them an e-mail saying that I never gave them permission to do this. This was their reply:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

Since you previously added your payment details to your profile, you were able to purchase Badoo Premium with our one-click method. As a courtesy, we have now removed your payment details from your account to prevent this method being used in the future.

Unfortunately, according to our Terms and Conditions, this type of service is non-refundable.

I called my bank (I live in the Netherlands), they said I can cancel any payment, get my money back from any subscription within 90 days and block their account. And I can do it all by myself online with my bank account.

I hope this helps others with the same problem

I'm critical for all dating websites but this one is OK. In my opinion, it's on one level with Tinder. There are good people, but many scammers too. I met my girlfriend on this website and I really happy

Badoo is a nice application but it has problems like all the others, i. E. fake accounts and fees, but generally it's ok. From myself I recommend similar to Badoo - Kupido24 website

Ive been using Badoo for well over a year now and plan to keep doing so. Ive seen it change a bit in that time and really like most things about it. Ive tried other sites too; some great alternatives like WeJustFit.com and some not so great ones, like Twoo! But overall im happy where I am and find that most of the women are genuine and up for a bit of Badoo chat! Recommended.

Well, if you are looking for a serious relationship I would not really use Badoo. Sites like Mingle2day and Match are better suited for that purpose. But Badoo is absolutely amazing if you want to chat around a little. Don't necessarily expect to meet up with someone but expect to get in touch with MANY people. Love it!

I see all the bad comments about badoo and I support the opinions that there are many fake profiles. Other than that I met many girls on badoo in real life and with one of them I'm still with. Don't take it seriously. Take it like a nice time looking at strangers pictures and if it comes... It comes:-)

So Ive been on this site maybe three weeks and out of the three I've tried so far this one has the best looking guys and the ones most capable of stringing a sentence together. It really is for casual dates no matter how many men say they're looking for a relationship lol it doesn't seem to be that kind of site. At least the majority of photos are clear and pretty good quality and so far all but one of the twenty or so Ive met have looked exactly like their photos. The men have all been friendly and lots of fun. Naturally there are some idiots but you have to make it clear what you will and wont do and where you will and won't go. You also get a couple of abusive newbies where it's obvious this is the first time mum has gone out and left them home alone lol. But the site is really easy to navigate and the block/report button is extremely effective so they're not a continuous problem. So. If you're looking for casual good times with fun guys give this site a try. Even free it's been great.

Expected this to be good and it duly delivered. Impressive site. Also check out WeJustFit.com if you havent already, had a very fun date on that site last weekend and it is similar to Badoo in terms of being busy and easy to use. Enjoy x

Badoo is ok, well executed for a dating website... the people not so much. Within my first hour of joining i received 50 messages. After weeding out the weirdos i ended up replying to 5. Great choices. I ended up meeting only one. We hit it off dated for a few months and now married. Expecting our first child.

Anyway... my point being if you talk long enough and take your time messaging and not being so pushy, you might actually find someone worth your while.

Badoo is free to use. All those people don't dare try to invest only one dollar in one of the paid prime dating sites but keep writing negative reviews about Badoo. Wow, there are Fake profiles on Badoo? LOL :) What did you expect! You get what you pay for... and if you use a FREE social network or dating site you will find FAKE people as well!

Invest a few bucks and get a gold membership on sites like Mingle2day if you want to seriously get to know someone. Or use Badoo but stop complaining that you will find fake profiles!

Badoo is a fun place to be and you can spend some nice time on here.

It's FREE! Does not BLOCK conversations AFTER they start.

Profile info is very limited.

There are too many "dead" users (imported from facebook).

That said, you can find real people, but beware, that real people have REAL PROBLEMS, so, you may find more than you bargain for!

I have met numerous girls off this site. It is a website, so of course is full of time wasters and a few people who are fake - It is the internet after all but I have slept with at least 6 girls and been on probably 15 dates or so. You do need to pay to make this happen though, but it is cheapish compared to many other sites. Without paying, I doubt a guy will meet many women.

The website has a few Transvestites using it, but you can normally tell that from the pics... if not... it will make an interesting story for your mates to laugh at.

I've been using badoo for about 3 years now. Met about 11 or 12 girls and $#*!ed all except for 2 of them that were a bit guarded. Its a real site. Unless of course its made by narcs that traffic women. And even if that is the case, they're doing an excellent job trying to get them their greencards.

There are a few trannys. So you just have to block them whenever you see them, but they're mature enough to state it in their profile openly so there's no surprises.

Mostly latinas. Mexican women, salvadorean, and honduras women are on the site.

I did pay for the usage of the site just once. So that I'd be able to always see if somebody has already read what I typed them. Cause this way I can get an idea of if the person read it and is just leaving me hanging or the person hasn't read it at all. Keep them on their toes so to speak...

I've never used a condom with these women and I'm still clean. So there's clean women on the site. But you never know...

Most of the women on here already have kids. Those that don't seem to be a bit wierd or crazy. But its all good. Its still $#*!.

Most of the times women won't respond to the Hello's because they're so swamped by all these dudes. So when you get a woman whos talking to you. Take advantage of the golden moment. Cause if she slips through your fingers and starts talking to me. That $#*! is mine.

Damn. I sound like a serious perv...

Theres always going to be the fake profiles on all sites. This one has them too. They're made by scam artists that use the site to lure other users into their schemes. Those fake accounts arent made by the badoo staff. They're made by some scammer $#*!s that are broke as $#*! in nigeria. They need to go play with themselves.

All in all... i love this website... it took me from the nerdy dude who sat behind his computer lonely as hell. To the nerdy dude who gets laid so damn much and brings women into his moms apartment and makes the neighbors wonder if Im some kind of pimp...

Badoo is officially called Social Network or Online Community but I'd rather call it a dating site! IMO it is pretty awesome. But one of the issues I faced using Badoo was the amount of fake profiles. Yeah, there are a lot of em. I mean really a lot. It is a pain in the $#*! to sort them out. If u don't have time and patience to do so, I suggest u to use a premium dating site like Mingle2day, Match, and so on. Badoo is great for a fun chat but don't expect to actually meet someone. It rather takes lots of time and patience.

I didn't know what to expect when I first started using Badoo, so I just didn't expect anything, I went with the flow.

Flicking through, yes I would get some obvious fake profiles, but doesn't mean I have to speak to them, there is a great thing called the 'block' button. I spoke to people who were clearly real and had something decent to say, this gave me someone to talk to almost every time I would visit Badoo.
One day, on my random visit, I was zoned to my computer screen and spent several hours talking to a guy, we would keep up to date on a daily basis, have general chats about how our days have been, work, college etc and we exchanged numbers, texted and again, all at the same time I was still going with the flow.
To put a voice with the face, I rang him and had the best and un expected conversation, this really pushed the boat out, and out daily chats continued.
Still going with the flow, we met... we got a hotel, chatted in real life, had dinner and had a real connection from there.
What really surprised me was the radius on Badoo, set at up to 5miles, I was in London and he was in Reading, a bit more than 5 miles? YES.
We continued to meet, I visited his home town, met his lovely family and everything was going great.
I am now living in Reading, spending and enjoying every day with the guy I met through this 'bad online place' called BADOO.
I could fault Badoo, but there is more good than bad, and it all depends how you look at it.

I am still going with the flow, but with the man I enjoy spending time with and the man I adore.

(Just depends what angle you look at it from)
