Started out OK then went downhill from there. Ordered fender flares on 8/15/14 and promptly received an e-mail that item would ship between 8/18-20/2014. 9/2/14 called company to inquire about parts. Nice lady answers and has to call the factory about the parts while I am on hold. She tells me the part is backordered and offers an alternative. Not know what the alternative looks like I informed her I would call back and let her know of my decision. Unable to find information online I e-mailed the manufacturer requesting the differences. I was informed by the manufacturer that the part I originally ordered, which was suppose to ship 8/18-20/2014, that the part had not gone into production, but the differences were mainly cosmetic. Called on 9/3/2014 to accept the alternative unfortunately another lady answered the phone and was unfamiliar with the issue. She said would check with the manufacturer and get back to me within 45min to 1 hr. Never received a phone call. I allowed an extra day as a courtesy for the company to respond. No call back. Called again on 9/5/2014, this time a man answers. He says the parts are on backorder, that the company just copies what is on the manufacturers web site as an excuse for not knowing, and after checking with the factory the alternative will not be shipped until the week of the 9/15/2014 then offers 3 options. 1. Wait on the original part order which hasn't gone into production. 2. Wait until the week of 9/15/2014 for the alternative to ship. 3. Cancel the order. At this point I am questioning the sincerity of this company. I inform the man to cancel the order and credit my card with the amount previously paid. I sent an e-mail to their customer service dept. recapping our conversation that I wished the order to be cancelled. Received an e-mail immediately stating that the company would get back to me shortly. As of 9/9/2014 I have not received any communications from the company. My alternative is to file a complaint with the BBB in their town and start a dispute with my credit card company. I will offer some words of wisdom for this outfit. 1. Do not charge a persons credit card prior to an item being shipped. NO LEGITIMATE BUSINESS DOES THIS. 2. Do what you say you are going to do, if you say you get back to someone within an allotted time frame DO IT, be it by phone or e-mail. 3. DO NOT SELL ITEMS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN MANUFACTURED OR RELEASED BY THE MANUFACTURER WITHOUT PUTTING A STATEMENT THAT THE ITEM FOR SALE IS A PRE-RELEASE SALE. 4. Refund money promptly, meaning as fast as you took the money, not several days later or weeks later but immediately. I would never do business with this company again, they either do not care about customer service or do not know what it means. After contemplating the issue I felt like this was a bait and switch from the start. Their word means absolutely nothing as evident on how well they stand behind it. The run around is not worth any savings you may or may not receive. Do yourself a favor and stay clear that is unless you enjoy frustration and being exploited.
