Auto Explosion

Many of the ads I reviewed are for cars priced lower than the market. Also, I asked for information on a "cheap" Cadillac. Customer said she was in a divorce and was selling the car cheap. That turned out to be bull$#*!. She used a fake invoice from eBay to collect money and will only accept eBay gift cards as payment. She also wanted proof that the eBay gift cards were purchased with cash. This way there is no refund possible for me. She also said that eBay would honor their payment guarantee. EBay had no record of this seller selling the item in question. EBay will not accept payments on any items without an item number. And eBay does not require cash, only PayPal and debit or credit cards. The seller even offered to accept less money when I questioned the validity of the invoice. The seller gave me a bogus customer service number for eBay. I called the normal number for eBay customer service. They had no clue about the invoice sent to me.

The seller was very insistent that this deal was valid and that my car would show up at my door in 5 days in a "container" with all necessary paperwork. The reason I did not believe after this was they wanted a photograph of the gift cards with the passcode scratched off emailed to a bogus email address.

There may be legitimate ads on this site. I do not know. I looked at many ads after my experience and none of them looked legitimate to me. Most prices looked unbelievably low and descriptions were "like new", very low miles, matching numbers, other buzz words. Understand, I was only looking at classic cars.

I would proceed very cautiously with this website. Or just ignore it altogether.

The owners do not reject these Scam ads for cars on their site! They leave the scam sale ads for cars on the site for months. A legit site would DELETE them off!
Who in the world would offer to sell a 1956 Chevy with $40,000 worth of work & new parts/engine for $12,500.00? Sure I would love to buy it for that... But when I even write back to a guy selling one for that kind of money, he says I`m working in Baghdad, and I have to sell the car... OR... My husband died and I need the money... Or... I got divorced and I`m selling my husbands car... AND EVERY time, the car is 1,000 miles away in Arizona, or No Dakota and E-Bay has it... E-Bay is NOT INTO the CLASSIC car selling business folks... That`s a gimmie!

After using up my time twice putting in all my information and pictures it says does not work.
