Fuk you $#*!y a**holes gorbig a*s hole never try to get this cr*p $#*! blocking service has no right I will make it my life's mission to tell everybody how bad your company is
I am very upset, I have problems with every phone Assurance Wireless sends me. 3 months ago it took me over 2 and a half months to get a phone because the phone I had was unusable, I was told I qualified for a phone for $25 then after talking to repersenitive I would have to pay $35 and I would receive it in 20 days I paid them, did receive the phone called them back after 20 days I was then told they did not send the phone because I had to pay $45. When they finally send it they send it to an old address I had not used in years, they even asked me my address how they got it wrong when they ask me couple times what my address is so then I was told I would have to file a police report before they sent me another phone because they sent it to the wrong address. Same thing happened again a month ago the phone I was sent was not working properly talked to 4 different representatives each one saying "I assure you, you will receive your phone in 3 to 5 business days" none of them could tell me why I was never sent one, then my services was shut off last week and I would not receive a phone until I filed a police report on one of the 2 phones they say they sent me a month ago and send the one in I was currently using!
I bought a phone from assurance wireless and the phone was defective, they sent another phone which was also defective and they refuse to give me a refund even after I gave them the tracking number from FedEx with both of the phones. They are a rip off company.
I got a phone from them on September 1st I got a phone and the phone stop working 2 weeks later I call them and they said I will be getting a phone I also told them I got a new address they told me I will be getting a new phone at my new address but the phone went to my old address after waiting 3 week for it I call back and was told it went to my old address and the order will be put in and I will get it in 5 business days after the 5 business days I called and was told my phone case was being investigated and I needed to call the police and he a police report. I said He'll no that's y'all fault now they tell me last week that the investigation will take 2 business days and after 4 business days I will told yesterday I will be called by the end of the day I will be called and told what's going on and as of now I haven't heard anything for them. This coming is ram buy people who r not in the USA they sound like some scammers and they tell u lies to keep u quite and they $#*! not going to work please do not use this company and this State and Medical and phone for kids in school should have a different program to use cause they r BULL$#*! and need to close there business down or hire new people they get -0 stars for me
I am on my second replacement phone because the first one stopped working, guess what this one stopped working to. When I called to get a new one sent to me I was told that they could not send me another phone because I already had a replacement phone and if I wanted a replacement I had to pay for a new one, and it would be a much better phone then the one I was sent, I told her that is not right I was sent a bad phone why do I have to pay for a phone, I don't have money for a phone, she said that she understands but there's nothing she can do because I was already set a replacement phone they can't send me another one and I have to buy one. I asked what is going to happen to my account because I can't use my phone to make my monthly calls she said that she can put my account on hold until I can afford to buy a new phone. I don't know for sure if she did it or not.
I've been with Assurance for about six years. This past year they sent me an upgrade phone. Towards the end of the one year warranty I noticed the phone felt a little warmer & case slightly bulging. Not expecting nor barely using the phone (sits on kitchen counter) the condition got worse. By then, concerned, it was now about a week or so out of warranty. Now the case has completed split and the phone is hot all from a slowly becoming defective lithium battery. Now dangerous; a fire hazard with potentially deadly consequences Assurance refused to replace unless I bought a new phone. Conclusion: Someone has the wrong priorities.
Do not go with this company. They say acp accepted but after a few months it gets screwed up an d you get 250 minutes a month. 3 times, over an hour each call to fix this. Not fixed 3 weeks later. Useless representatives. Company lies.
I am a disabled older adult on Social Security, and I feel like this company has taken advantage of me in my situation and that they are reaping benefits from the government that they are not passing onto the customers. I would bet if someone investigated they would find that the money is going in pockets and not to Service for customers. I have been with Assurance for about a year. In that time I've had to replace my device three times, and each time it is taking months to get the new device, only to get the same device with the same problems, and then to be told that the replacement device that I only got a few months ago is out of warranty and I would have to pay for another device. This was the final answer from a supervisor after I was lied to by several chat representatives and phone representatives promising brand new phones, one of them even promised a brand new Motorola flip phone. Instead you get an offbrand phone that you don't even know where it came from or how to fix it. And the agents don't know how to fix them either. My devices just stopped charging, stopped working properly, and then shut down all together. The last one shut down completely and cannot even be turned on to retrieve information from it. I'm moving onto another provider and hoping things will be better.
I was with Lifewirless for 8 years and out of nowhere they said that my service would be cancelled and moved to Assurance Wireless and that I was the one who I granted them permission to cancel it. I told them that it wasn't me who cancelled it and that I wanted to keep my service with them. They said that there was nothing that could be done. I called Assurance Wireless and they said someone signed me up to be with them and that they would
Send a phone within 3-5 business days. Months went by and I did not receive a phone from them. Every time I called each person lied to me and said the phone was on it's way. Friday Assurance Wireless claimed that they mailed the phone out months ago and that someone had already activated and was using it under my name at that moment. Everything about this situation just seemed strange and nothing was adding up. No one could explain to me as to why all of this happened. Assurance wireless said that since it wasn't me who activated the phone they would cancel the whole account & take me out their the system. So I lost service with a company that I was with for 8 years for no reason at all and ended up with nothing from Assurance wireless.
I lost my Assurance Wireless phone in a car crash and had to pay $39.99 for a replacement phone which I did. Then I didn't get the phone and they sent another one. I finally received it and once it got activated, I used it once then when I used it again, it said my line got "unenrolled" - called Lifeline and they said the carrier "disenrolled" and I gave to call the carrier to reapply. ARE U KIDDING ME? Then why the hell did I have to pay $39 bucks?
Buy your own "compatible" phone and you STILL cannot connect to the network because you didn't buy the phone through them--and they didn't have it in stock? Screw them! Assurance wireless needs to update their system and allow unlocked phones on their network! I dropped them and went with a carrier who allows it.
I had to have 2 cell phones replaced within 2 months for each. I dont know how I actually had a number to call that actually contact Assurance Wireless CSR cause the one that appears on the web page and the letter they said you is not it and was on the phone for a hour and a half! And when the cell worked half of the time I could not hear the person on the other line I was trying to talk too! I will be sending them the cell that does not work back to them and the new replacement cell!
Service has been good since some updated towers. Phones are Terrible outdated, keypad I don't even know what country puts the Z top middle. Makes typing a challenge. Usually about 3 months after a "NEW " replacement device apps stop working, constant random restarts, phone won't connect to Wifi. NEW means 50/50 chance it's a refurbished. Biggest complaint. You cannot bring your own device. You have to live with bad equipment or pay for another service. I don't like being hostage. WIKO, NO! Customer service hangs up when they decide they are done with you.
If I could give a 0 rating I would. I had their service for 2yrs, out of the blue it's cut off saying I wasn't using it. I had to reapply all over in July. Its October and still haven't receive a new phone. Everytime I call, it's 1 lie after another as to why I haven't received the phone. Called a few minutes ago and was told it's pending with lifeline. Last week they said it was on the way. I called lifeline and was told it was not pending, application was accepted. A sh*t a** company
I went online and applied for Assurance Wireless. I have no job. No income.
I turned in my application they denied me said I made too much money.
I called the 800 number to speak to someone. I could not get any answer. This place is a f****** joke don't waste your time with it.
There are plenty other companies who can actually help you get a government phone.
This place is sketch.
I feel sorry for the assurance wireless, it's no regular company. It sent out a free phone, but it doesn't have a cancel service, i called 5 times for cancle, Why does it push me to use its phone? I think that assurance wireless is a scam company.
Hello, first time ordering the free government phone, not because I need it because I want to take advange of anything free. First, the phone couldn't talk its way out of a paper bag. If you want to give something away, make sure its worth giving away. Next, I can't complain about the service its free! Lastly, come on people its a free program, never complain about free. I will be sticking to T-Mobile there service, and phones are much better.
I really don't get all these bad reviews... Maybe it depends on your area. I've been with assurance wireless for almost a year and I have no complaints. I mean sure if you live out in the woods like I do service can be questionable but thats all services even the best of the best. I have a moto g pure and it's been an excellent phone actually better than the Samsung Galaxy A11 I paid over $200 dollars for & customer service has always been very polite and helpful never any issue that they were unable to resolve. I wouldn't go through anyone else and would highly recommend.
This company is unprofessional, lies, gives out cellphone that over heat. When talking to them over the phone they say lies to get a good rating. To later find out it was all lie. They promise this and that but is all lies. Be careful this company seems nothing but fraud to our Country that doesn't even know half of this cellphones don't work and get still giving out like that. My own experience has been bad to the point where I had a stomach ache and I was stress out crying. Do not recommend at all. I took a photo of the cellphone I was giving that doesn't ring, has a mind of its own. And over heats very unsatisfied
Assurance wireless caters to a bunch of homeless people(go to assurance wireless website and see the reviews from mostly homeless) who are either a drug addict or a drunk that don't know any better than this $#*! backwards so called lifeline phone svce.
Assurance wireless can't even fix an issue with my FDIC sending validation texts so I can make changes to my checking account without having to walk up a hill a mile plus to my bank to do it.
There's also this myhypermedia dot com nonsense that no matter what site you visit you get annoying popups from and it's taboola, yahoo related nonetheless the crapware the phone installs upon activation that you can't uninstall at all.
It's also government spy hardware. Take a look at the certificate credentials installed by default.
It's not Obama phone anymore, it's $#*! backwards republican phone now.
Hey assurance wireless, get a life okay?
Because you suck!
