“The most awesome online shopping experience”

I buy regularly from Asos. I live in Singapore. My orders reach me exactly in the time frame that Asos gives me. They also have a free returns policy which I appreciate so much. Unlike websites like Mango.com which often cancels orders after 10 days due to stock non availability, Asos hasn't done that once.in all my 58 orders for my past 4 years. The prices are good on Asos and there are regular discounts. The only downside is I don't know the origin of the products before I order...coz sometimes the quality of the products are a bit substandard and it would reduce the inconvenience of a return.

I order a pair of Nike air max Bella shoes. I got some high chunky heel black and white converse. Customer service is literally not helpful at all. Says they can't locate my real item. I am so confused on how these people shipping orders are so dumb. Like how do you mess up THAT BAD. Now I have to go out of my way to package it up print the label and drop off to UPS. Meanwhile still not have any idea what's going on with what I ordered. I guess I won't even be getting the correct item. She offered nothing for all this hassle.

I purchased three pairs of shoes from ASOS. Unfortunately, the quality was subpar and I return two of the pairs within 3 days of receiving the items. Although it showed return in transit on the ASOS website by the day following my return - today it has been almost three months of reaching out regarding the return and I finally receive an email saying that I can have a credit in my account but no refund because it took them longer than 30 days to process the return. I'll handle this with the CC directly at this point but never again will I waste my time or money on this company.

Tip for consumers:
Do not order unless you are positive you won’t need to return the item.

The last 4 items I purchased they all were poor quality and expensive. I also don't like the fact that items that are sold out never come back.

From the time I confirmed and paid for my item, to the time I did not receive it a month after their estimated date of arrival, my tracking was untraceable. Their courier partner in my country told me the tracking number does not exist. Agents I chat to online all have the same approach, I'm so sorry, I understand your frustration, yet none of them kept to their word! They are taught to be empathetic, its actually annoying. Once the date passed where I was to receive my order, yet nothing arrived, they asked me to rate my item, I explained what had happened and my review was rejected. Four months later after speaking from agent to agent I finally got my refund. Will definitely not purchase from this site again.

Tip for consumers:
Refund will be calculated as per the current rate of exchange so not what you paid!

I recently ordered from ASOS for the first time, sadly I don't think I will again. I ordered the ASOS Curve embroidered sweat button dress. Once opening the package and looking at the item I noticed that all throughout the embroidered parts of the dress random strings are popping out and hanging loose. Now this wouldn't be a huge problem if it was just in one or two spots, but it is ALL OVER the embroidery. I paid $61.66 for a dress that looks like it was barley finished.

I used the sizing chart to order two pairs of shorts. They arrived and were so huge! When I wrote ASOS they said the sizing chart wasn't really the ultimate guide, but that it says somewhere on the website to order your usual size. How is that helpful? I ended up paying just as much in shipping duties and return fees as the items cost and they refused to do anything about it.

I left multiple reviews and they were constantly rejected by the company.

My original review was flagged for the following possible reasons:

• Use of language(s) not reflected in country of purchase
• Inappropriate comments (e.g., racism, hate speech, sexism, etc.)
• Personally identifiable information (e.g., full names, usernames, etc.)
• Spam or irrelevant content
• URLs included
• Discussing issues with your purchase or delivery that are not related to the product itself
• Review of the wrong product
• Reviewer is underage.

And this was my review:
"The strap popped off at the wedding I was in. It was sewn crooked and laid funny. And there was a stain on the front that would not come off so I had to use a marker to color it."

I've used ASOS a lot until recently when they sent the wrong product and I wanted an option to return. As an international customer in Canada, they want to charge *me* to return an item they sent that was the wrong item and not the item I ordered.
And, I can probably forget about recouping the duties, taxes, etc. I paid on this item. Thankfully, not an expensive item but if had been, I'd be out a lot of money b/c of their mistake.
Forget about even trying to contact their customer service - it's a robot and it's impossible to find a contact email for returns. The "chat" option is also a robot / algorithm. Don't care how good the deals are, this situation and lack of a human csr has me p-o'ed and I won't return as a customer.

Tip for consumers:
Customer service is (seems to be) almost entirely "bots". International customers will pay for return even when the error is made by ASOS. All shipments to some international sites are subject to duty and custom taxes (approx 25%).

I have a few issues. I spent $85 on 4 ASOS items, and paid $30 in customs. At first I was okay with it because I had gotten such a great deal on the items anyway. Until I opened the items, i realized that they are poor quality. I cant imagine how upset I would have been if I paid full price. Then I noticed that they sent me the wrong item. I tried to create a return, but they expect me to pay $22 to return the item. They expect me to pay for their mistake. If they were to send me the correct item, I would have to pay customs again! Never buying from asos again.

Just a heads up, if you are ordering from canada they are going to charge a customs fee on top of the shipping paid through ASOS with no notice when making the purchase.

Tip for consumers:
It would have been helpful if i knew that there would be a customs fee ontop of shipping.

I have ordered 3 (lingerie) items worth $95. My order clearly stated it was a FREE shipping. However, when my order arrived ( in good condition and sizing) I had to pay $16 to the post office clerk
I asked what the charge was for and I was told that Asos charges shipping cost!?!
I am very disappointed with their false Free shipping advertisement on the website and I won't be buying from Asos again.

In the beginning, I was somewhat impressed with their online presence and wide range of product offerings. I ended up purchasing 2 coats for around $170 CAD (one of which being on sale). At the time, I was unaware that this company was from the UK as they made it very difficult to find out where they ship from. When I went to pick up my package from the post office, I was hit with a $90 Cost of Delivery fee that I was unprepared to pay for. After paying the fee and getting the package home, I was disappointed with my order as the coats did not fit and quality was not good. I was forced to send them back, which is a $20 fee; something that is free with other online clothing companies. As friendly as the customer service was, their answers were often cut and paste and never actually answered my question as to why I had to pay $90 upon delivery when I was not warned. Overall, if you are from Canada or even the US, there are much better options out there, cheaper options as well.

I have purchased a total of 13 items from ASOS. While most of them have been good purchases, my last two were absolute trash. The first one came with a broken strap and the second one came in a damaged parcel and was covered in black smudges (see photos). I am really bummed because I have enjoyed their clothing selection and prices for a while. But after two strikes like that, I'm not willing to waste money on shipping having to return damaged items. Also from what I've researched, they are not a very ethical company. Not always my top priority, but another gripe I have with them. I'd say overall it's pretty hit or miss.

Tip for consumers:
Just keep in mind that you pay for shipping and they don't reimburse you for shipping when you return an item--even if the item is damaged.

I kept 10/13 items.

I ordered directly online from ASOS and was disappointed on the sizing of a few items that I received and being charged for shipping which was suppose to be free. The sizes for the items were 2XL and 2XL Long and they definitely are smaller. To be fair, some of the other items are great, including the shoes, but trying to get hold of customer service is virtually impossbile and I can only give them a 2 star rating. Also the delivery was suppose to be July 11, and I did not receive it until July 21.

Tip for consumers:
Be sure to verify sizes and find out why they charge for shipping when it states that it is for free?

I ordered a few products and one of them was a completely different item. So I contacted ASOS customer serivce and they told me to return it to get a refund, except they told me the return cost of $25 was my responsibility even though they sent me the wrong product. So I ended up keeping the incorrect product, that is very ugly and too small for me, becasue I didn't want to waste $25 sending the item back for a $30 refund. Ridiculous.

The clothes on ASOS are fashion-forward and really fun. The quality is slightly better than Wish. That being said I actually lost money on their return policy. I ordered a large quantity of clothes and returned a few items I didn't like, but because I bought the entire order with a coupon code, they subtracted that entire discount from the few items I returned. They refused to offer me any money back for the clothes I returned, while also refusing to send back the clothes. It was frustrating to say the least.

I really wanted to give them a 5/5 but I don't understand why shipping takes so long. It took over a month to receive my order which only had 2 items. I was honestly very disappointed. If you want express shipping then you have to pay an additional $30! Which is wayyy too expensive in my opinion. I hope this is something they can fix cause I do love their clothes.

Despite the shipping, the clothes I purchased look amazing and just like the photos. The quality is also A+ and I'm very happy with the way everything looks. The Find My Size option on their website is really helpful when deciding on what jeans size I need and the jeans fit amazing.

Tip for consumers:
Be prepared to wait a month or more for shipping!

I live in Eastern Canada and have now ordered twice from ASOS. The first time, I placed an order in March and it took over 3 months for my parcel to arrive. I had to give the same information to customer service at least 8 times before they actually believed me. They did finally offer to either reship the items or grant me a refund in July, the day after my order finally arrived. In this case I gave them the benefit of the doubt that Covid had caused the shipping issues.
I ordered again (September), and while this time the order arrived a day before it's expected delivery date, I was hit with a $70 charge at the post office (on a $150 order), despite the website claiming shipping would be free. The lady at the post office said it was most likely a customs charge. An additional charge of nearly 50% of my original order is just ridiculous. I won't be wasting my money on them again, which is a shame as they have some nice articles and are one of the few places I've found that offer decent tall styles.

Very disappointed. Get your **** together, ASOS.

I actually like most of the items I ordered from ASOS but my experience was tainted due to the delivery. ASOS Canada uses Canada Post and Landmark for their shipping. These together are worse than UPS. At least with UPS there's a customer service team that I can contact to receive the invoice to self clear my items at CBSA to avoid exorbitant duty fees, and furthermore at least they tell you ahead of time. Canada Post and Landmark don't give any forewarning. I was wondering where my shipment was and decided to check the tracking information only to find out my items were being held at a local Canada Post. There was no notification or delivery notice. When I went to go pick it up I was then told I had to pay a COD fee. Collect on Delivery. It was a shock that for an order I paid $231 + $25 shipping I was now expected to pay an additional $85. There was no invoice showing me a breakdown, no explanation of the cost. NOTHING. The clerk told me I could call Landmark and request a refund after I paid. Landmark does NOT have customer service or a phone number for people to call. Honestly until ASOS resolves this just save your money and avoid ordering from them. There are so many other online retailers that are more reasonable. I've ordered quite a few items over the last couple weeks, this is the only thing I've had to pay duties for. Landmark is a thief
