I went to the location in Ewing NJ. Tammy was awesome. She greeted me and helped me while shopping. She also rung up my order. I will be back soon to shop while Tammy is working.
I had an AS credit card, always bought lots of things. Clothing stitching was coming apart on a lot of items. I closed my acct and started using After Pay. Be careful returning items. I had $1.00 shipping AS wanted to charge me $10.00 for a return label that they did NOT enclose with my items. Customer service and the "supervisors" were absolutely horrible! My money spends any and everywhere but NOT Ashley Stewart!
My complaint isn't the clothes quality bc nothing from Ashley Stewart has ever ripped on me or been Damaged. I've been shopping with them for over 15 years. I was previously an 18/20 now I'm a 14 in jeans and 12 in shirts. Now for those who say the quality is bad or made poorly first of all the lady in the dress with 2 different patterns Sis that look isn't for you. Ashley can't help if you aren't a fashionista (which I am) and then you want to say poor quality no you did that dress a disservice. The other with the jeans it looks like you wore them 7 days a week like they were the last jeans on earth what else can you expect if you wear the same jeans over and over again. My compliant is simple I am upset with the models they have on the website (pretty faces) but the clothes aren't being styled well anymore causing me to shop elsewhere. The models are looking frumpy and bumpy. I doubt I am the only customer feeling this way maybe just the only one who will express their feelings. Please get the models right and the outfits styled right and watch your sales go up. Trust me

I have been shopping Ashley Stewart for years. In the past, the clothes were a better quality and worth cost. NOW, the clothes are cheaply made and cheap material at TWICE the cost. Example... I bought the Tropical Print set( BEAUTIFUL), but for 59.90 for the pants and No Pockets was like buying pretty pull ups. That and a number of pieces I ordered was not happy not having pockets for the price I paid.
Just opened an account and called with questions concerning and service was not great. I'm hoping this isn't indicative of Ashley Stewarts customer service in the future.
I ordered a Black Sweatshirt Hoodie, with The Word LOVE written out in Red Sequin, On the Photo it looked Nice, and Long, NOT the Case, it's Very Short, and I'm VERY Disappointed AS, You are/Were My FAV Store to SHOP At... but I think I'm having a Change of MindCause LOVE DONT Live here NO"MOE... Great Plus size clothes. They don't do returns, nor exchanges outside the U.S. Sadly, they don't do currency exchanges, on their website, so if your Canadian you don't know the exact dollar amount.
The purchase process was pretty painless, pretty good selection of items but the prices are about high. I've always only shopped in the store and have always been pleased. Unfortunately my recent experience was less than pleasurable. One of the items that I purchased didn't look the way I expected and I decided to return it--which I thought would be an easy process--because I used PayPal for my purchase I was unable to return the item to the store which was fine by me but because my package did not include a packing slip I had no info on how to make my return. I emailed customer service after having multiple issues accessing the info on the website and had even more trouble getting a response by email. I finally had to call and was able to speak with a very helpful CSR who refunded me the shipping cost for the inconvenience. My suggestion is that if you purchase from this site DO NOT use PayPal that way you can return directly to the store with no issue and if your package doesn't include the packing slip call customer service do not email them it will take forever.
Well I ordered a dress on friday, and received it the following friday. So all the people that complained about shipping time. I didn't experience a delay. However. The dress was 54.00 it has 2 layers but it's still very see through. It is very cheaply made. Loose strings everywhere and it came with a black smug on it that I hope to get out with some shout. Overall I'm happy with my purchase but I feel it should have been in the 30 dollar range for the quality of the dress. But it will work for what I'm wearing it for. :)
Better to shop in store material and style don't look the same once you get then you have to pay to return it. Also there's no returning to store on sale items
