Above average. Better than some. But not as good as nostringsaffair.com + a few others. 7/10 IMHO:-)

The Ashley Madison site is plagued with false female profiles whose sole purpose is to lure male customers to expend credits. However, among the total pool of female profiles there is a VERY SMALL percentage of women sincerely interested in meeting men.

I am 60'ish, married, handsome, well-mannered, very hygienic, and affluent. I first joined AM during April 2012 and within one month had met and slept with a married woman. After marveling over my ability to satisfy her she ghosted me after our second rendezvous. More recently, about a year ago I met another married woman on AM. She is 25 years younger than I, slender and uninhibited...the real deal...together we continue to enjoy the best sex of my life, all while she calls me Daddy and thanks me for providing her what she can't get at home.

BUT...those are the only two women I have ever had any success with on AM while I have had regular success meeting women on other sites. Based upon my experience, AFF is where a man's money is best invested. But back to AM...if you are a man and join AM, count on receiving endless collect messages from women outside your geographical area. I don't know AM's exact business model - whether AM uses bots or independent contractors - but you will receive messages from women who never respond after you answer their collect messages. Oh, and I should not forget to add that I was one of millions of who received extortion threats when AM was super-hacked - threats which I simply deleted with no repercussions. But beware there were actual suicides as well as many divorces precipitated by that hacking.

Among the millions of female profiles on AM

- the vast majority are there simply to lure a man into spending (and purchasing more) credits. Beware when someone you have just met on AM immediately suggests moving to another communication platform "so you can get to know reach other better".

- a small number of female profiles are associated with women who want a small taste of adventure; for many simply having a profile provides them all the excitement they can handle. Others will message with you for an extended period before disappearing abruptly.

- an infinitely smaller number of profiles belong to women looking for action, and who will not run when it finds them.

Don't waste your time on AM...spend your money on Adult Friend Finder.

I've always had much better luck with sites like Ashley-Madison and Saphrina than with Craigslist. Never even had a single hookup from Craigslist. Dating-Apps annoy me but I use them once in a while. But they are not good enoughif you are a married man looking for like-minded women. In my honest opinion: Stick to affair websites! Even if they are flooded with Fake-Profiles you will still find someone if you stick to women of a similar age.

All well known affair sites like Ashleymadison, Saphrina, or whatever ain't that bad at all. Only problem is that you will usually have a pretty bad male-female-ratio. Only the very best profile wins. They are still worth checking out though, especially Ashleymadison still has many members. If you ain't lucky also check out fwb sites like Casualsexonly. Works pretty well if you are straight and honest in your profile. Hope that helps.

I just recognized that all of a sudden I noticed my credits were used faster than usual. So I saw a change from 5 credits to 7 credits per initial message. So AM is becoming more expensive and obviously they changed their pricing?! I don't appreciate it and now I consider to use subscription-based sites like Saphrina although Am worked for me in the past. Great site but they just should not become too greedy.

I hav had sum luck on AM but also had long dry spells. Theres lots of good sites now, tonnes of them. Id recommend NoStringsAffair.com as the current best 1 but there r others 2, loads. No need to stay wit a site is it doesn't wrk after 3 mnths IMO. The affairs dating game is a buyers market lol]

I am going to guess that at least 50% of the women on AM are not real. It is kind of suspicious that many have the green dot on, indicating thet are on-line, 24/7. Also I have received responses from women who haven't read my profile and then just disappear. You'd think AM would be trying to do a better job of being authentic after the scandal found that the majority of profiles were fake. Disappointing. There are real women on the site but you are going to burn through a lot of credits finding one.

Tried few affair sites and here's what I figured out: AM looks great site before you pay, then you will get conversations with someone, but who knows who they are. After a while when your nearly out of credits they just stop replying. Also the ones whose profile you have checked out, just happen to be the ones allways on line, funny how they never reply though. I didn't want to keep paying, so I left the site.

Yes, there are fake profiles. Yes, there are escorts.
And yes, scammers. That being said, these should all be fairly easy to identify when you're on the site. I've been on for a little over a month and have had contact off the site with about 7 women. Get the people you're talking to off the site (go to kik, Snapchat or something like it). Also, so many guys blame not talking to any women on the site just being a scam. Maybe don't post a pic of your $#*!? How bout smiling in your profile pic instead of looking like an angry rapist? Common sense, clean yourself before taking a pic... wear a nice freaking shirt. If you're sending real messages to enough women that don't have shady profiles and take the time to create a decent profile yourself, you'll meet someone.

Read a lot of good things about this and nostringsaffair.com (these two seem to be the main leaders that can be trusted in the area of online affair hookup sites. I paid almost 100.00 for the credits, sent a few messages, and a wink. Ran out of credits quickly. Will NOT be using this site again due to the selection of women over 50 and cost.

Those giving the totally negative reviews are probably guys who click on every message they get believing it to be genuine. There are definately fake profiles on ALL THE SITES but they are definately easy to spot. Why complain about the charge to delete the profile? Why not just stop using it? Unless you were dumb and put something on it that identifies yourself. It is possible to be successful without spending too much. I've had few affairs with women I met on AM and NoStringsAffair.com. Don't be fools and you'll get lucky!

Can't agree that online dating is dead. There's still a lot of sites providing a great service and ashleymadison is one of the best in its field. I think they need to pay more attention to the quality of the database though. But it's not difficult to distinguish fake members from real ones.
If spending hours on separating wheat from the chaff is too much for you, try other smaller sites, which are cheaper but can still provide great results: nostringsaffair.com or saphrina.com

After what happened in 2015 affairs sites have changed. I tried some of the other sites while ago and it just didnt feel secure enough for me. I decided to follow some recommendations here and gave NoStringsAffairs.com a try since then as its clear from their messaging that they put data security first. So far so good, but still can't trust this kind of sites :(

After the site got hacked in 2016, it went to garbage. There are more bots now and it's like 7 credits to send one message and most users never respond.

I'm feelin' a bit meh about this so far. Def not as good as No Strings Affair which is a kick $#*! site for guys looking to cheat for what ever your reason I aint not gonna judge ha ha

I switched to Ashley Madison last year after all the hullabaloo with VM. I found it ok and used it for four of 5 months. Had a few interesting chats but in the end decided there just weren't enough new women in my area being added so switched over to nostringsaffair.com at the start of this year and have been using that ever since. For me its about having plenty of options locally or it just isn't worth it, so that's why I ended up cancelling AM and switching over. Good site otherwise though.

I think im close to setting up my first affair on this site but ive been thinking that for a while now. First, I'm an older married guy. In great shape, not so bad to look at, No hunk either. Not the best site ive used for meeting married women (thats nostrongaffair.com) but I would say you can sign up an see who is in your nearby area then go from there. I dont think its a scam I just find that I dont get that many replies but prob 'cause in not in a city or some thing like that maybe.
