I was never given a tracking number for my order. I had to send three e mails to request information on shipping. I would like to think that after spending $1800 with a company, that there would be better customer focus.
Product was delivered within a week (well within the time period when I needed it), but website has yet to show a shipping date.
I left on vacation shortly after receiving the product, so I no comments about the use of the product.
Really needs to show the colors of epoxy with chips. Otherwise, the product seems good
Delivery is awful!
Great epoxy but the sealer sucks when it's wet. I can't tell you how many times we've fallen on it in the last 8 months. From my wife, to my 3 year old to myself. We spent $1500 for the kit and non slip coating, first time it got wet we were ice skating so they told me I needed a different non-slip sealer, another $200 + later put that down and it's no better than the first sealer, contacted Armor Garage and now they are telling me if i buy a third type of non-slip coating for another $560 it "should" be non-slip. Sorry guys but i thought you would have stepped up to the plate to make it right since the first 2 times i did what you recommended and it didn't fix the problem. Good for you for getting my money but seeing how I've worked in auto shops for the last 20 plus years and continue to do so I'll be sure to pass the word along on just how happy i am!
This is the best i have for proof or purchase:
Joe, looking back at your original order it seems you did approx 850 s/f. For that square footage you'll need
2 gallons of Top Coat and 2 Qt's of the Aluminum Oxide. Retail is $235.00 per gal (top coat) and $45.00 each
Per qt of (non slip) $560.00. That said, I will discount it for you to $460.00 delivered.

This was promoted as a lifetime product. After the first year it was already peeling. I sent 4 emails, called multiple times to complain and was consistently told to send pictures. I sent them each time with no reply. Now, it is year 3, and big strips of the pain is peeling off. I spent close to $1000 for the paint and had to find a special person to put it on, it was a nightmare. I would have gotten more bang for my buck with the regular deck paint.
Do not buy.
Bought several thousands dollars of armorgarage deck product and now less than 2 years old it is bubbling, blistering and peeling off! Hired others to assist in preparation of decks and even with power washings, deck stripper applications and even areas of sanding, after two years product is failing miserably! Save yourself a great deal of grief and lost money, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
I purchased 600 Square Feet of their Ultra Military Grade Epoxy Floor. They did not send me enough Epoxy. It became apparent while applying and trying to spread the product with their " Calibrated Notched Squeegee". I then was forced to spread it out with a roller which turned out to be a disaster. When I contacted them here is their response.
"The topcoat/epoxy was applied a little to thick and therefore the puddles and was rolled after it began to set and therefore the roller fibers were pulled out by the epoxy.
This is not a product issue."
Not sure how they could conclude that with the 3 horrible pictures I send them. Not very much effort from support when I paid $1500 for the product. Over the phone they also claimed I must have mixed it too long, it takes 10 mins to apply the batch, they claim it takes 40 mins to start to set. I doubt I mistakenly mixed it for 30 mins instead of 2-3 mins. They're solution to your problem is to blame you and say its not a product issue.
They state in the instructions that 3 gallons of mixed epoxy covers 524-550 sq/ft.
Well I ordered 600 sq/ft. And even an extra quart wouldn't have covered my floor. I would have needed over double what they sent me.
Also they forgot to send my the etching solution, and TSP, which I had to go purchase myself.
Horrible product, Horrible customer support, Horrible company, Steer clear of them.
Last summer I purchased material from Armor Garage to refinish my treated outdoor deck. This material is quite expensive (approx. $70/gal). I paid over $650 including the material, stripper and and related rollers etc. to get the correctly applied finish. I stripped the old finish with a high pressure washer and additional stripper that I purchased locally. The hi-$ stripper that I purchased from A-G was ineffectual. After I had the wood completely bare and dry I applied the finish per instructions. All looked good right after the work was completed. AT Last! I had a deck finish that was GUARANTEED for LIFE of the deck! At 79 years of age, it should outlast me! Well, I made it through the winter, but the finish was flaking of by spring! After showing both before and after picks to A-G, they offered to replace the entire amount of finish with more of the same and suggested that I scrape and sand of the flaking finish! NO THANKS! More hard work for nothing. Now I'm left with an expensive crappy looking deck that will have to be stripped and refinished yet again.
BUYER BEWARE! The LIFETIME WARRANTY means only material replacement, NOTHING MORE!
Very thorough on product knowledge, especially on procedures. With all the different products they offer, it can get confusing and overwhelming on which product suits your needs. They delve into details and instructions on how to choose the application that suits you without pointing you to product you don't need. Will do follow up when product arrives and is applied...so far so good!
I haven't used the product yet, if it works as well as they say it does then it should be good. Ground the floor with a concrete grinder. Next I am using the etching solution. Let that sit for a couple of days then prime, paint and then seal.
Love the web site and all the detailed info. The only problem I had was confirming my color choice. I left a note at checkout but I'm gonna call and confirm my color choices are correct. I received my order on time in two different deliveries. I added a product to my order the day after I made my online order and that product is missing. Hopefully that's still in route and I'll have in another day.
I did try to place the order by phone but had to leave a message. When the call back came I answered by no one spoke to me. I placed the order online.
I got a confirmation the order was received by email but no shipping confirmation or tracking information. I call and this time got a helpful person who provided a arrival day which was correct.
The ordered arrived and is on but I will point out that the two cans of top coat were seriously banged up and dented. I am surprised that they did not leak. I think you need to address that.
The product will be used this week and after that I would be willing to rate the product
I am very frustrated for how much information is on the website I would have hoped I could reference the part #'s on the product sent me but I have no idea which can of product does what so I can't even start my project.
Also frustrated with how many of my cans showed signs of leaking.
I got a big logo that covered the top 1/2 of the screen and I had a hard time getting rid of it and it took a long process to find the color patterns. Other than those issues everything is fine look forward to getting my floor.
Because of the problem with using plastic cups to measure out the ratios of part A and B of the primer, I am waiting for my second order of primer. I haven't been able to proceed with coating my garage floor yet. I really can't say yet what my experience has been with the product.
Great information (maybe to much), but the product is as advertised and shipped quickly. Would be ultra helpful to have picture of each color-chip combination listed.
COMPREHENSIVE SITE, ANSWERS ALL QUESTIONS, SIMPLE TO USE...SITE TRULY WAS VERY EASY TO USE IN ALL ASPECTS... WILL NOT BE APPLYING PRODUCT FOR ANOTHER 4 WEEKS OR SO... FOLLOW UP WITH ME AT THAT TIME & I WILL GIVE YOU A THOROUGH REVIEW OF PRODUCT'S QUALITY, EASE OF APPLICATION & PEOPLE'S REACTION OF THE SAME.
Looking at the chip colors was difficult, other than that excellent!
Very quick to respond via email.
Wish there was a tracking number supplied to follow the order..
All good so far. We have applied the first later so far and it was pretty easy. We look for long term success with these products.
Answer: The compressive and tensile strengths are both around 10,000 psi which is twice as strong as the strongest concrete used in construction.
Answer: The military grade topcoat holds up well to UV rays but like all indoor epoxies if you leave your door open all day long every weekend it will eventually yellow. For normal UV exposure Yellowing is not an issue since the topcoat is a urethane and UV rated but it is not outdoor rated therefore the UV exposure needs to be limited. For long frequent or continuous UV exposure you need an outdoor rated epoxy such as our Ultra Fast epoxy.
Answer: It holds up very well to sand with the military grade topcoat version. If it gets a lot of sun exposure we don't recommend it for outdoor use.
Answer: Standard size squeegee is 12". For orders of two or more kits we provide an 18" squeegee. Both use a standard broom stick.
Joe sorry you're having issues with your floor. It appears that you have non typical floor conditions in your garage. We have never had a situation where the commercial grade nonslip has not provided sufficient traction. The second time you did your floor we provided the commercial grade nonslip versus the residential grade nonslip applied the first time. All our epoxy orders get shipped with nonslip additive because all epoxy floors are slippery without it. The only last solution other than a full broadcast sand floor is to go with our Industrial grade nonslip additive. Let me be clear a full broadcast sand floor is only used for Firehouses or public pool areas and the industrial nonslip is used only in commercial kitchens where there is always lots of oil and grease on the floor. We have never had to do either for a residential garage. The vast majority of our industrial customers don't even use the industrial nonslip other than in special conditions that require it because it is very abrasive and makes the floor hard to clean. It will either have to be scrubbed with a pool brush or power washed. It sounds like you have ice and excessive snow on your garage floor and it may require mats or something similar to provide the proper traction you need in your particular situation. If you would give me a call in the office I would like to work out an amical solution for the both of us.
Thanks
