Found what I needed quickly, however was surprised at how long it took to receive my requested gable vent, hence my only awarding 4 stars. Ordered on 22 May but didn't receive til 23 June. Product quality is excellent as was the packing of the product as sent from the manufacturer. Lowes had same product line available for ordering, but their prices were a bit higher.

Order received was wrong in size and style. I called merchant and followed with pictures they requested. They agreed they made a mistake and would refund my order but shorted me over 300.00. I called and email without any response now it's with the credit card company. I would be a little hesitant in ordering from them since you might be responsible for their mistakes.

I ordered some faux beams and shelves from them for a large project. After paying over $5,000, the shelves I received were only finished on one side and thus useless for my application. I had an extensive conversation with the sales rep explaining what I was using these shelves for. When I went back to management and asked for either an exchange for what I ordered OR a refund, I was told "the items are clearly pictured on our website". When you are ordering something online and speaking with a human being about EXACTLY what you need, and they fail to give competent guidance and then basically say "you should have read the fine print", you've found a business that will not be in business for the long term.

We ordered 5 pho beams from this company for a total over $4400. One of the beams showed up damaged. We sent them pics and submitted a claim. They would under no circumstances replace the damaged beam. Unbelievable in today's world. They told us to order a new beam which would cost over $1492 with shipping. Do not use this company, you will regret it. They absolutely do not stand behind their products. Definitely do not recommend.

We ordered 4 Legacy brackets in ANTIQUE PEWTER. Their online pictures in this color (on which we based our choice) show minimal signs of pewter or silver. The items we received had many bright heavy silver strokes.
We called (3 times) and subsequently emailed to let them know the items received were the wrong ones (based on the above). We were first told that pictures may look different based on the "monitor". So, we went to their website using an iPhone, an Android and the laptop - all 3 pics were identical, none showed any brush strokes of silver - so we emailed them a screen picture of each (first 3 pics below). We also sent them several pictures of the product we received (last one below). NONE of the items received had any resemblance to what they represent online.
The 3 representatives we spoke with said in a nutshell:
- they paint powder coated black brackets by hand with the color of choice, so there should be "SOME variation"; and
- the items we received are the antique pewter; and
- we get a can of paint and paint them over. When I responded that solution was unsatisfactory after spending over $400, I was asked, "why we couldn't paint them."
Customers place online orders in good faith, with the expectation that the item seen on the company's website is an accurate representation of the product that will be shipped. The pictures we sent them clearly show the two items are very different. Rather than accept that their website misrepresented the color and make it right, they chose to respond with:
"Production has reviewed your photo, and did confirm that the Pewter is what was sent. The Silver is a much brighter shade than the pewter…."

We didn't buy the product based on what they do behind the scenes in their factory, we bought the product based on what they advertise on their website. Poor, poor customer service.

Tip for consumers:
Do NOT make decisions based on the pictures on their website - items received were not the same in our case and the company will not make it right.

I ordered a fireplace mantel from architectural depot
Took 3 mths to get then I received a cheap styrofoam piece of junk nothing like pic
Called they're so called management Andrew Gonzalez to explain what I recvd not to mention it was bowed in middle his response was it's not their problem
So that was that

I ordered three of these on Dec 22 and it had an estimated ship date of Jan 2 - Jan 8. We just decided we needed one more for the project and and then when I check my email this morning, it says they won't ship until Jan 23. I then log on to your website, and it says if I order my next one, it will arrive Jan 12 - 16, which is obviously wrong and must just be to bait people to buy from your site. If you already knew you couldn't ship this item til later, why does your website continue to lie? Not having these items arrive when we had expected them will be holding us up from continuing on this project.

Prior to purchasing this item, I searched the Q&A section for clarification on the width and thickness of this product since these two important measurements are not included in their web site's documentation. The answer I found mentioned a 5.5" width which was too wide for my application. So, I phoned Architectural Depot to see if they had the same product in the 3.5" width. The customer rep verified the product was available in 3.5" width, so I completed the purchase. Unfortunately, the product that arrived was the 5.5" version, so I contacted Architectural Depot and asked if the integrity of the product would allow for me to cut it down to 3.5" with my band saw or jig saw. That question was never addressed, so I decided that a return and repurchase of the 3.5" arch was in order. I asked, since the wrong size arch was shipped, if I would be responsible for return shipping. The answer was "Yes", along with an additional 20% restocking fee. My solution was to increase the remaining trim around the arched window to 5.5" so I could use the arch that is too large.

Ordered one very small item, early Feb 2016, today is 3. 8. 16 and still dont even have a tracking number yet. Of course they had my money from day one. Their tracking system is b. S. too. One day it tells you its delivered then the next its still "being procssed". Takes 48 hours foe their warehouse to even check the order and get back to you. They SUCK. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Wouldnt even give one star but had to

I bought a 6" molding and they sent one that is not the same as the one pictured. IN FACT, it's not even similar to the same 4" molding they sell.
Architectural Depot said, the 6" is just like the website illustration (see photo below with print from website) and it's the same proportions as the 4" (see photo of two trims side by side).
The whole is supposed to be round, but it's oval (last picture). Ripoff Depot said no refunds. I cancelled my visa charge.
Look at the photos and you be the judge.
BTW. Do the math, the 4" trim, 48" long has 8 patterns. Therefore the 6" trim in a 48" piece should be 5.3 patterns compared to 4", not the 4 elongated patterns it has. For two 48" long pieces to be 8 patterns and 4 patterns, one would have to be twice the size of the other. 6 is not twice the size of 4.
I have spent more time than the money they are cheating me out of, but others need to know. Dishonest, fraudulent sellers. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Placed a critcal order on June 27th, expected delivery- July6-July10th. Did not arrive until July22nd- packaging extremely damaged and opened on both ends. I took pictures w/ UPS driver holding damaged product and refused delivery. Architectural Depot knew of refusal because they called me to enquire. I thought all was well, until the package was re-delivered the next day, and I was not home to stop, and AD refused to address issue. I have filed with Better Business Bureau.

I received "used shutters" one had drill holes in it. Both shipped in new factory sealed boxes (no re-taping). Customer no service would not follow through replacement of the damaged shutter. I ended up baying a new set from another vendor to get the job done.

I ordered shutters made of vinyl and composite wood. I specified the shutters to be a specific color. Shutters came in and were not even close to similar. I sent 3 emails to them with no response. I called them and they pretty much said i'm out of luck and they could only offer me discount on more products. So now i'm stuck with a pair of $600 shutters and an upset client.

They are quick to respond if you want to buy something, but don't expect good customer service when you have problems.

They will no longer have my business.

I've had these shutters for barely over a year, and already starting to show signs of wear and tear. The other day I noticed one of the fasteners that hold these shutters to masonry had broken off. Knowing these had a warranty I call up architectural depot to see about getting a replacement. After quite some time on hold I got told they wouldn't warranty these. I asked how much this part could cost, and was told 29 cents! Wow. You won't send a customer a 29 cent part after one year? Nope, I was told they were sorry I didn't like their answer. I have very little faith that this product will hold up. I imagine the others will start to break, as it's clear to me these can't handle the sun and don't have sufficient UV protection. Stay clear of this product and company, go with someone reputable that sells a solid wood shutter.

Ordered a total of 36 corners and 19 lengths of molding, all Ashford. Received molding and corners. Corners and molding do not match exactly. Contacted customer service several times, explained problem with no resolution. Garrett called back, asked for pictures. Sent pictures and have hear nothing after sending multiple emails. I already have the moldings up so I now have to match the boxes or take down the molding. Once I have this small project completed I will not order again. Terrible company to work with.

The piece was not delivered to where they said it was and took admonish a month to find. In paying more for s&h than I did for the piece, I expect better. The piece was not wrapped but thrown into the bottom of the box with bubble wrap on top of it. As a result a small piece was not present when I finally found the box. I got all of the other parts for this art object elsewhere and will continue to do so. Businesses thrive on word of mouth and repeat business. I did not see this happening with your lackadaisical attitude toward customer service no matter how halfway decent your product may be.

Worst customer service ever. I bought 2 Faux stone samples. They look like a 2 year painted on plastic. I tried to return them... no one answers the phone, return calls. Do not return emails, and cannot get thru on chat. It is easy to see why because you cannot return the samples. They will just credit your account. No one in their right mind would put this piece of crap on their house. It is a rip off. A person buys the samples and Architectural Depot know full well no one is going to buy the product. And that is why they do not put them in stores. Do not buy from them... you will be stuck with product. I will trash Architectural Depot every chance I get.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS! Super poor customer service, once you order they give you the run around on when your order will actually ship. I have no idea if my product will actually reach me, let alone when. How can I possibly arrange for installation if they can't provide something as simple as when it shipped. I am happy to track it myself, just need a number. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else.
