Nilsa and her team provided fantastic assistance - she was super efficient, friendly and professional and her commission is paid for by the facilities (not the families), so it was a win-win to utilize the services. They helped me find a wonderful place for my Father, and quickly, and he's been there about 2 months. He really likes the food a lot and the staff are great! Expert Tip -- DO Create a separate email account to manage the emails that come in however. A Place for Mom was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process of finding an Assisted Living facility for my mother-in-law. They shared facilities I was unaware of and helped me to understand the process of getting her settled into a safer environment than her independent living situation.

Unexpectedly had to find a safe place for parents when Dad fell and broke his hip. A Place for Mom provided us with many options to get the base cost of several places. I was looking in a range where they live to places 500 miles away closer to where I am at. With a simple request, they sent links to areas I was interested in, pictures and cost break out. This was very helpful since I knew nothing or where to turn. There has been no sales pressure and everyone I contacted has been very professional.

I accidently connected with A Place for Mom when trying to make a decision for my husband's need to be placed in a memory care facility. They guided me with information I did not have and helped me select the best fit for his needs. I chose the one they recommended, and I am very pleased he is where he needs to be.

About 5 minutes after I filled out the questionnaire I received a phone call and I had a tour set up with the best place that could be. Two weeks later we had the papers filled out and keys to my mom's new apartment. Pacifica senior care memory care was wonderful- like a hotel. It was bright, homey and everyone, staff and residents, seemed happy- they were talka, clean, and smiling.

I can't say enough good things about A Place for Mom. I was so overwhelmed with finding my mom a place closer to me. She had some medical issues and I wasn't sure how it all would work out. My advisor Carolin went above and beyond helping me at every stage of the move. She helped facilitate with the sr living homes and gave me advice when I didn't think I needed it. From start to finish, A Place for Mom was my one point of contact for everything on my to do list. I would tell everyone that I know that A Place for Mom should be the first call when starting in this journey.

Having the help of someone who had the resources to provide me with a list of senior living communities that were within the geographical area I wanted made it much easier for me to narrow my search. Moving to a senior community is a major decision for anyone and having well directed and knowledgeable help does make it easier.

From the first phone call, the representatives were eager to provide the information we needed. Being new to this experience, we needed a lot of advice. Our representative made several good referrals and checked in regularly with us along the way.

Martin worked with me and found an Assisted Living facility for my sister within her means. He was very quick to respond to me and never put any pressure on me whatsoever. This service was so helpful because I had no idea what to do first and am not familiar with places for dementia care in this area. Martin was kind and compassionate about the situation and our needs. He set up appointments for tours for me and followed up with me afterwards. This is a great place to begin your search, and there is no cost involved. I highly recommend this service.

Natalie set up appointments for me to tour 5 facilities. She always checked in after to see how I liked it. I ended up at the facility I didn't think I would like. Very happy with my choice.

I had researched a few places prior to contacting A Place for Mom, but I'm very busy and it was time consuming. They kickstarted my efforts, and really forced me to be as prompt as I needed to be. Jenifer, my assigned advisor, was wonderful and provided very valuable insight into the various types of places, cost saving opportunities, etc. I've also found much of the information on taking care of elderly loved ones very useful.

I contacted A Place For Mom for the first time back in September of 2024. At the time, my dad was in the hospital and I felt he needed to go into some kind of independent or assisted living facility, where he could have more social interaction and healthy meals. He was living alone and wasn't eating well which caused him to get weak and fall. After a week in the hospital and eating 3 good meals a day there, and regaining his strength he decided he didn't need to move. He was good. Sarah Heatwole from A Place For Mom remained in contact with me by phone call and text even after I told her dad would not consider moving. When dad ended up back in the hospital 2 weeks before Christmas, I contacted Sarah. I knew it was time to move dad, and got him to agree to "at least look". We talked about his needs and wants, and discussed his budget. She found 2 places right away that she felt were a good fit. Sarah made the tour appointments for me. The 1st place was perfect, so I cancelled the appointment with the 2nd place. I got dad moved 4 days before Christmas. Sarah stayed in contact with me through the move and for a week or so after he got settled, making sure things went smoothly. Dad is stronger, healthier, and happier now than he's been for years. He's making friends and eating 3 very good meals a day! I never would have found this place - or thought it was in dad's budget - if it wasn't for Sarah's help! I can't thank her enough for staying in touch after that first contact.
