We had a 40 foot long,3 foot wide cement walkway made from the sidewalk to our front door.Seylah was able to construct his walkway, while communicating with another contractor, who was building a fence alongside. Seylah does high quality work. He is a little hard to keep in touch with; so keep trying! Time for a driveway...; I'd hire him again.
Angi Leads is absolute joke from the contractor perspective. 90% of their "leads" are bogus (either non-responsive customers, tasks requested outside scope of business, or customers just messing around on the internet that are not actually interested in having work done) and they refuse to credit appropriately. I lost 4x as much money as I made using their platform. Stay as far away as you can.

Looking for a roof repair contractor, ended up going through local neighborhood referral. I had filled out Angi.com, the calls have still not stopped, calls, voicemails, text non stop for 7 weeks. They sold my name and number 27 times that I know of. What a scam this is. They sell your name and address and I can't stop it now. Stay away. See pics, this went on for weeks
This was the first time having major work done on my house. The work was done quickly, and correctly. I have no complaints, and will use them on future projects. These are just a few photos, but I had hardwood installed in my entire main level, and interior painting of my main level, and also my upstairs hallway, which included a two level entryway.
I contacted Chris (owner) of Sterling Construction for kitchen floor repairs and they did it all. From joist, subfloor and finished with Vinyl planks. Kitchen looks amazing. Best thing I like about the company is that he stayed in contact with me through the whole process and got the job done. Thanks again Chris for your expertise and for my Kitchen floor. Very satisfied customer.
My husband and I recently moved. We had been told that John Mitchell's, "TWO GUYS AND A TRUCK" Movers in Anderson, IN was very good. We called and they came out gave us a price, set it all up. The day of our move the crew of three young men showed up on time and went to work. Jordan, Brad and Brody were very professional. They were so attentive to our needs and made assured our move went very smoothly.
A great crew, and a great reflection on your company. Thank You all so much.

Since Angie' List changed to Angi's, I have been disappointed with how service providers are selected. When Angi's was Angie's List, I was able to review the providers, their reviews from previous clients and make my decision on who I wanted to hire for the job. Since the company change, this process no longer exist and I find myself researching other options. I have been a member for 17 years and again, disappointed.
You have to cancel a job up to three days before or you'll be charged and they'll take it from your next pay, on top of the fact that they make half your money you get 54 dollars for a job angi will make around 60 off of you when its your product tools and car that gets the job done, in the long run its not worth it.
Was on time to job got half way done requested money for materials was agreed upon she left came back was a complete different person work was sloppy cuts were wrong she left again to pickup materials never seen her again, no answer phone text email seriously suggest going thru someone else I'll get pictures uploaded soon 1-29-24
Tip for consumers:
Beware if dealing with this ti's tiling & design she will do half a job, return lizard eyed work to reach next payment and disappear word is that's her game so use caution
I was willing to look past the confusing sign up process and the website/app that don't really have much functionality because getting my house cleaning scheduled when I wanted it was easy. That is, until it was cancelled less than 1 hour before the "professionals" were supposed to start work. Getting a qualified person here is the whole purpose of Angi and they could not do that. You'll notice in their email response that they don't guarantee much and require 48 hours notice for themselves.

Most of the professionals I've hired from Angi have done an excellent job in completing my projects. One thing I learned is you can't rely on favorable reviews alone. You also need to look at the negative review for a common pattern of complaints.
If you don't have connections and you're not a do-it-yourself kind of person, then go to Angi!
Two Hats Construction built a custom car port on my driveway. Construction is all steel. Solid and stable. Built on site. No complaints. Responsive to questions and suggestions from me. Would use them again for similar work.
At the end of the job another fee showed up that had nothing to do with the contract. I called the company but no one answered. I left messages but no one returned my calls. I had to pay the extra money in cash. I will not be doing any business with Angi ever again. PS the work was 75%, I had to pay the full amount plus. NOT HAPPY!
German Roofing was nothing but professional from the time they responded to my RFQ through project summary. Their installation flexibility was critical to my tight schedule, being off-site. I recommend German Roofing if you want peace of mind that they know their trade and will charge a fair price for quality work. Thank you, German Roofing team!
We went through Angi's list to hire a contractor to install a hot water heater. Angie list charging us $759? Contractor had mechanical issue, was no show. So canceled service. Contractor texted me this morning. To apologize, even though we found someone cheaper. Contractor preceded to inform me that if we had contacted them directly, instead of Angi's List, it would have only been $300. So Angi's List more than dbl the cost so they were getting $459 fee. So I will never use Angi's List again
Scam, scam, scam
Don't trust them
I received all fake lead norespond, no answer this is big trap.
They forced me for termination oh 35% of whole year. Don't sign anything.
Termination with them forced pay $1890. Scam scam award.
Rachel backer, Dan thacker didn't explain me about cancelation fee as %35 of whole year like $1890 at the first of sign.

Scott and his team did a highly skilled and thorough job on our recent ENTIRE home remodel. They started and completed the job in 4 weeks, as promised. Scott kept us informed/updated on the progress via phone calls, texts and emails during the entire process... and photos. He offered great suggestions and improvements on our vision. At completion of the job it was move in ready. We would differently use Scott again... and plan to do so when remodeling the downstairs.
Garbage company that gives false leads and then argues about the refund, I'm a small flooring contractor that can't afford 2 out of 10 return phone calls then get charged crazy amounts for all 10! They feed you lines of BS and promising 75-80%return, scam from the start. I sell all of my personal jobs but somehow Angi sends them I can't close but 20%? Fake leads that don't call back or intend to have work done. That's not a lead that's a scam!
Hired a contractor through Angi to do dry wall repair and extensive interior painting. The contractor did an excellent job, and I would hire him again. Angi's list is a valuable resource, but I do not like the current format that emulates Home Advisor. It is very tedious to have to go through all the questions about your project before you can see recommended contractors. I much prefer the old setup where you could get to a local contractor list right away.
I was very happy with the referrals Angi.com offered and extremely satisfied with the work done by Silver Hammer Home Services, Inc.
However, I was frustrated and very displeased by the constant flow of emails and phone calls from Angi.com, checking on the work done and progress. Ridiculous that I received so many calls and emails within a days of contacting Angi.com - don't you realize that these projects take time for planning, scheduling? Give people a chance and wait at least 2 weeks before your barrage of emails/phone calls start in.
Thorough cleaning of my sister's trailer. After going through everything and seeing it afterwards; it looked like it was set up for a showing to be sold. Our family was shocked as to how great it looked. Definitely recommend their services to anyone. Below are some pictures; I'll try to get them all on here. There is a total of two bathrooms, three bedrooms, living room, kitchen/dining room and laundry room in hall, large closet in master bedroom. All thoroughly cleaned; and large amount of packing.
I hired a "pro" through Angi for a spring yard clean up. The person did half the job before just disappearing - leaving debris all over my yard. Despite an incomplete job, Angi charged me full price. I contacted support and they said "oh, well! That's just the way it works". This company are scammers that employ scammer "pros". DON'T use Angi if you value your money!
Tip for consumers:
Angi is a scam
Please add comments from first part of review in addition to these comments. I requested extra projects to be done and they graciously accepted. They always explained things ahead of time. I didn't add photos because I didn't take "before " photos so there's nothing to compare. It was all top quality work‼ The clincher in this deal was that they gave me a set price which would not go up even if they had to do extra work or buy extra materials.
Them tried to say 25% of for 300 to be a contractor on their site. They getting paid by the contractor and the customer. Scam app
Tip for consumers:
They will not give jobs to those who don't pay their fees! it's a scam
Brandon Clark, owner of Plant Marks the Pot, provided an estimate within one day of calling him. He gave a detailed estimate with great ideas for stone, mulch, and, most importantly, for types of shade perennials that would be best for our project.
He started work even sooner than he thought he could and finished the job within four days.
The result is such a huge improvement in our front yard. It's beautiful now! Many neighbors have stopped to compliment the look.
I would highly recommend Brandon and Plant Marks the Pot.
Tip for consumers:
Beautiful work.
