Came across this site as a Google ad and offers apartments in Amsterdam to rent. Used site to ensure about availability to which they responded via email. Contact us details on website include a phone number (which is dead) and no proper address of company or of the apartment. Tried emailing saying I cannot make contact on phone number and asked for address details. Reply given said they cannot call as out of country and ignored address request. They asked for payment to be made by bank transfer. Alarm bells ringing on all fronts. I would NOT recommend.

This is as fake holiday rental site, offering incredibly low prices for gorgeous Amsterdam apartments. As it's the second listing when one googles "Amsterdam holiday apartments central" and I thought I had stumbled onto something good. I sent in a request and got an email response from "Sharon Spiegelenburg."
However, in communication certain details did not match up: they have excellent availability for more than one property during high season; their phone number does not work as it has an extra digit ("Sharon" claimed to be traveling and unable to speak by phone). Their email address is misspelled ("baeutiful"); they offer 10% of the rental price if one pays with a bank transfer within 24 hours. Unfortunately I was tricked into sending a copy of my identification and home address in the initial email exchange, but stopped short of sending them money. When I confronted "Sharon" about it being a scam, she stopped responding to emails.
Their website and listings look real, and in fact some listings are Airbnb copies. However, this site and their sister site (nlapartmentsrentals.com) are fake.

I sent my passport, address and paid 1,400 euros to them. They also stole 7000 euros from my account. They seemed legit. They sent me a lease agreement. Please don't use these. I hope they rot in hell.
Dear Lorelei B.,
Well I am Sharon Spiegelenburg and 1 month ago I sent a copy of my passport to the company "best time villa" to finalize a booking contract for a villa rental in Ibiza. Then I found out they were scammers and lucky I didnt paid.
But yes they had a copy of my passport and address details! And now I read your review... Those MF are using my name to scam others! One person contacted me via LinkedIn to check if I am the person he will be renting of. And the answer is no. They are using my name now!
As you gave your copy as well, you can expect they will do the same with your name. I will file a report to the police this week for identity fraud.
