Craigslist VIN Scam - greatful I used PayPal to make the VIN report purchase!

I have a cars for sale at Craigslist. A potential buyer requested a VIN remort and provided the web address below - the last report I was requested to get had the name AmericanVIN.com in the customer area.

A second person looking at the same vehicle als requested a VIN report (and indicated the one I posted with the vehicle was not good enough) and sent me to; http://coat.ironcladnow.club which redirected me to http://checkoutvin.com/ which has the very same report that I made available to them.

The page also includes a reseller name: Alex Partridge.

As you can see they are Identical.

So, my take is that the perpetrator has an account with a redirect url to checkoutvin. Com and make all or a percentage of the sales.

Hosted at Hostgator is also a tell-tale sign. I know those guys; yea I know what they do.
