The.hold time on the phone line may be a little.long but they seem to want.to make.it.worth your while.
Placed and order and 2 days later called because you did not even attempt to call the vet for the RX. This is necessary MEDICINE not a toy. The rep put me on hold multiple times and all he could offer were apologies. Shipping was supposed to be 1-3 days yet 2 days passed and they had not even attempted to call the vet. Won't be purchasing anything else from here. They don't seem to know that medicine is NECESSARY.
Too expensive but i cannot get medications anywhere but Allivet. I wish more discounts is given since I've been ordering from Allivet for over two years now.
The pricing was fair in my perspective. However, the main attraction for me was the Paypal payment option. Unfortunately, after spending over 30 minutes pawing over the selections, pricing, creating an account, and checking out, I then find out that they have removed that Paypal payment option. I called customer service to verify, and was giving an apology, but it did not make up for the misleading information. I trust Paypal and use them all the time for online purchase. I do not appreciate the bait and trap tactics from any company.
Two months after ordering my dog's medication from Allivet for $78, I went to reorder. I had received an email saying that "all prices had been reduced" for Black Friday. The website said the same thing also. Upon reordering, I saw that the price was now $85. There was an option to save 5% by setting up auto delivery, but since you never know what the price is going to be, that's pretty risky.
I found the best price for Galliprant at Allivet for my geriatric dog. I did notice the price increased after the initial order which I was not too thrilled about. One thing to note is order at least a couple of weeks before you run out if you live on the west coast. My vet also said that they approved several refills, but kept getting called to get approvals - maybe they can be a little more organized with keeping notes? Overall they are reliable and I am happy with their services.
Fairly straight forward except for option to sign up for something that would somehow reduce my costs. Clicked icon but nothing happened so just continued with the order. Hope company sends me a copy of the order my E-mail so I can confirm what I paid for and how much. Also have to mail the company, Allivet, the prescription, but would have been easier just to send the scan. Dr. Jeff Clarke
I can't search for a specific product. So I have to waste time and attention going through menu options and scrolling down webpages searching for what I ordered before. For example my search for "Tri-Heart Plus 26-50 lbs 6 Month Green" produced no results so I had to put more effort in finding what should have been instantly delivered. This is likewise for "Dasuquin" and "Nutramax Dasuquin with MSM Soft Chews, Small/Medium Dog, 84 Count". I AM NOT HAPPY.
There is a problem with them receiving fax prescriptions. The vet says they sent it but it's never received. Very frustrating. Then I have to mail it in and wait even longer to get the meds. Also they need to notify customers a month in advance when the prescription is due to expire this way there is time to get another prescription from the vet and mail it in. I didn't realize that the prescription had expired and was scrabbling to get another one from my vet and get the medicine for my pet. When your pet NEEDS the medicine it's usually a life and death situation.
I thought I was on auto-renew. Evidently not. Computer was in shop, had to re-order, so now my old dog will be in pain for a few days, until I can get medication from vet.

I have used Allivet for years. Their prices and selection are wonderful. Their processing of orders is getting slower and slower. Their FAQ states they ship within 24 hours of getting a valid prescription. My last several orders have in limbo for days after receiving a refill order (once more than a whole week) before shipping. They have claimed my vet was only providing refills for 3 months at a time when my vet showed me they were authorizing 6 months at a time. Not sure what has happened, but they are not behaving like the old allivet.
Good products, just way too expensive. I won't be able to continue to use this company if the prices stay this high.
Tip for consumers:
OVERPRICED
Products used:
Acana Dry Dog Food...overpriced.
Seems impossible to get a coordinated reply on the autoship. One small issues come up. You get emails but you can't reply to him. You keep calling and you can't get an answer or can't get through. They need to streamline correcting issues when it occurs on autoships. More than just cancel and reinstate. Ie please rerun the credit card when transactions fail. Another great thing is to reply to the email with a check box of what issue you want corrected ie rerun credit card, stop out of ship, request prescription with vet on file etc...etc
No problem with prescription, shipping is just slow, to refill i order at least 10 days before we run out to make sure no laps in medicine
Prices are great, but this webisite is difficult to use and had me in a loop where it did not allow me to make an account because it said I had an account, but then told me I did not have an account. After repeatedly re-entering my information, I almost bailed, but I was determined to win. Took me almost 20 minutes to place an order; other sites that excel at online ordering take me 5.
I now remember why i stopped ordering from here. Website difficukt yo move around. Very frustrating.
Several issues have occurred with the delivery of items However, after many attempts to speak with someone higher than a customer service rep. The issues, hopefully, have been resolved.
The customer service reps are very apologetic however when you wait for months for someone higher up to call you back it makes for bad business feelings.
I like this company. They are obnoxious to my vet & literally call them 30× to get my dog her meds, which i completely love! B/c i am very passive, so this is a very good aspect of their business model. B/c my pup needs her pain pills!
However, i just had a total meltdown trying to save my card info, the name at the shipping address, the site had problems with everything i did! & so i literally had to put in the same sensitive info over & over & over again & only accidentally finally ended up placing my order. I'm terrified that its going to run my card 16x for an almost 70$ purchase. My bank is not very flexible or understanding, i guarantee that if that happens, i'll end up having to pay at least 2 overdraft charges, & i'll be stuck contesting it for the rest of the year.
Although this is price effective and the call center is friendly, the information and shipping speeds need to be reviewed. I was informed that my items would be sent out the day before they actually were. I was counting on my order to arrive much sooner than it has turned out to be. I am disappointed in this service. Not sure I will use this company again.
Not a big fan of the site design. If I refill a 60-pill prescription I get 60 items in my checkout. That's weird to me. It's just ONE prescription. The dividers between the different prescriptions are non-existent, so it's difficult to tell which drug has what amount remaining upon first glance. Prices are good and I like the ease of transferring a prescription. The website is running horribly slow today. It took almost half an hour to place my order and complete my transaction.
Auto ship item is frequently out of stock -- why would that happen when they have a regularly scheduled order for it? Also, they send conflicting email messages. Apparently no one pays attention
Website easy to use; products well described and robust selection; secure process. I've been purchasing meds from my vet's office for 50% more than Allivet's prices; I hope the negative reviews are anomalies -- I'll let you know.
It's annoying when Allivet offers a promo code that doesn't work. This has happened before. The coupon is not expired and the order more than meets the criteria but it still won't go through. Stop teasing your customers into thinking there might be a slight break on the cost!

Prices are good, but when the vet needs to okay a prescription, Allivet sends repeated requests to me stating that the request from Allivet has been sent to the vet and Allivet is awaiting a reply. The reply from the vet is immediately given, however Allivet's auto response doesn't communicate with its fax machine. So this lack of communication is not good, and frankly, quite annoying. I'm hoping Allivet will clear this communication between the auto response and the fax communication to the vet quickly.
This is my first-time order. Since Libby requires frequent meds, I think this will be great for me. So far, so good. I have signed up for auto-ship.
The coupon didn't apply. I checked it several times, it was not expired and now I see in other reviews that Im not alone with this issue.
It takes a long time to receive even if you pay for faster shipping. The prices are the best I have found. Easy to use website

Hello Hillary! There are some tiny exceptions to our coupons, which is why we state the exclusions apply. The manufacturer Merck (who makes Bravecto and Sentinel), does not allow any coupons on their products by any retailer. So unfortunately the codes can't work on those products, which we do state a disclaimer. We are sorry for any inconvenience and we make sure to pass along to the manufacturers that customers enjoy being able to use coupons!
