The machine we ordered came damaged, we did everything we would have if dealing with a US company, taking pics and videos,etc but Alibaba keeps stringing us out with further documentation now we are close to 3 months out with no resolution, a broken crappy machine taking up space in our warehouse. This is the 1st and last order our firm with do with Alibaba. I'm learning what I should have known - there is a reason they are cheap. I would advise staying away from Alibaba.
A Chinese manufacturer stopped communicate, denied manufacturing and damaged stored materials due to bad storing procedures. I received 40% refund only by Alibaba Trade Assurance. Alibaba didn't recognize the whole communication me and the manufacturer had. Alibaba's action would never been accepted by an ordinary court but it's not practically possible to press charges in China as the costs will be too high. Bottom line: I lost about USD 6000 because of a Chinese supplier's and Alibaba's attitude.
Products arrived well packed. However i had a few return/refund requests due to VGA not aligned, products worked only 1 day after that turned dead. I opened all the remaining packages and see it myself, most of them VGA ports are not aligned.
Not Happy with the product quality.
This is great if there are no issues with the products sold through Alibaba, but is if a product is wrong or defective it may cost more money to ship the item back than the item is worth. So it's a gamble, you have a chance of coming out ahead but if anything is bad you could loose a lot. Just like at Los Vegas, my advice is to not spend any money on this platform you can't afford to lose.

For the second time in a row - Alibaba marked a Trade Assurance Order as Complete - when not even delivered yet? No one seemed to care when I tried to find out why through "Chat" & email - No one seemed to know what I was talking about. (Guarantee is only valid "x" days after delivery - so worthless) NOTE - Vender was NOT a fault - it was all Alibaba.
Communication could be better. For products that must have a CE marking, the certificates should also be available for download. So that the certificates can be checked. Many traders show fake certificates.
As a company, we have two accounts for buyers. We have often found that traders do not stick to the contracts when the money is transferred. Suddenly the goods were no longer available or they wanted to sell us something completely different. Alibaba should pay attention to quality and good sellers who adhere to their contracts.
I've been using this site for a while a never had any issues until a company I purchased $8,000 worth of products from, sent me my products two months late and when I received them half of the product was destroyed. I've complained to the seller and also reached out on several occasions to customer service placed a claim and neither alibaba nor the seller are attempting to fix this issue. In these hard times I now have to deal with taking legal actions to keep my business going. I hope no one goes through this.

But big black spot: the euro-dollar exchange rate used at the time of payment. This rate is not the market and has always been against me (which translates into a surplus of about 1% of my purchases). The customer service does not give me any satisfactory explanation. Hoping that this doesn't happen again on my next orders.
I have been sent the wrong or very poor quality items that did not match there description. Little was done to correct the problem. Ethier a small refund when I was being scammed with a different product or no response when the item was tagged as delivered and it never showed up. I have purchased over 100 items and the last 4 months have been the worst ever. They will not cover or refund for the growing number of scam artist sellers. Beware. Better to pay more from us sellers then to get ripped of by them!@
Purchased one of the top grade bags payed almost $300.00 for it to have a crooked logo on the front. I am not happy at all, as I've tried to get this revolved. My emails have not been responded back to since I sent the pictures of the bag.

First of all this product doesn't look to be a new product coming straight from the manufactory. It has signs of a used product with lot of lines like someone used the razor on the product. Second the product came damaged this show a poor quality of packing, the product is packed in the way to prevent it from breaking. Third the top glasses doesn't snap in the base easily you have to press it hard with a chance to break it which also make hard to remove it from the base.
Even though they tout such protection mechanisms as "Trade Assurance" it means nothing really as I bought $100 worth of digital products only to find the seller reneging on the offer (service went down after 2 weeks of a 2 year deal) and opening a dispute resulted in Alibaba telling me they couldn't force the seller to provide me with a refund:0). Incredible right? Unfortunately the culture in that region has a lot of catching up to do. In any case, Alibaba.com dead to me.

Both GW 90 drones have bad video jelly effect. One drones camera sticks bad workmanship.

There was no help from Alibaba and no way to contact them directly with my complaint.

I filed a complaint for an unloyal company that has been a gold supplier from 6 years here.
The platform did not review our documents but relied on the seller's claim that the money had not been received. We were brazenly deceived with a large amount, not without the participation of the platform, which protects only its paying members
Alibaba has not done enough to protect my purchases. There are a lot of dishonest sellers who want to make a quick dollar, sometimes the product are bad and most they don't supply what was promised and when it was promised. When I complained, Alibaba has been siding with the sellers which only makes me more nervous about purchasing on the platform. They need to do more to screen out bad sellers and promoting the good ones.
Very disappointed. I requested 3 different colors from each kind of the flip wallet iphone cases and they gave me all same colors.
Since first use this machine has given varying weight output of my product.
In the process of filling my product and whilst talking online with the supplier agent, wires in the machine began to smell very badly...from previous electronics experience this indicates something is overheating and burning out. Although I have chosen not to dismantle the machine I suspect that the motor could be burning out.
To my requests for assistance the supplier assistant will not reply.
My request for a full refund by the supplier has been refused, so I have approached Paypal to their assistance..

I've submitted a lot of evidence on two different manufacturers but Alibaba are doing nothing about it claiming not enough evidence is submitted. I shared videos + pictures + receipt with them to show that some manufacturers didn't deliver the right amount of products I ordered and they mention that proof is not enough. I shared a video using the product to show that it's not functional, they agree with the supplier which by the way is a GOLD SUPPLIER with 5 star reviews. The supplier simply blocked me and doesn't want to resolve the issue, and Alibaba is also doing the same.
Very disappointed with Alibaba's customer service.
I'v been contacted by one of the 2 sellers ( tempering machine) they say that their email has been unusable for 2 months and that now they are up and running again.
They also promised than in 1/2 week a replacement machine will be ready for shipping.
On the meantime also an Alibaba Rep contacted me.
So I'll keep you all posted on the matter.

- The first 3 purchases involved only packaging and everything went well.
Problems comes when you buy mechanical or equipment...
- First time from a Company called Shangai Baoju Machinbe Co LTD.
We purchased 2 food trailers for roughly ******* USD
Once received we checked them ( straight away) poor ( if not dangerous) welding, poor building, we had to rewire all the traffic lights as they didn't work properly, rewire the entire electricals, replace the water pumps, replace so many things... they come up more pricey that any trailer that we could have been ordered here in New Zealand.
Since then we purchased other food trailer all here in New Zealand and at the end the cost was lower than the Chinese ones ( if calculating shipping and fixing them)
No way to have any spare parts from the manufacturer they didn't even reply to our emails... No support from Alibaba.
- 10 Months ago we purchase a tempering machine ( 3000 USD including shipping) from a Company called
Chengdu LST Technology Co., Ltd, this machine worked for 25 minutes than caught fire... we asked them to supply a replacement unit, thet emailed us and they agreed... then after 2 months we have no news about the replacement unit, and they are not replying to our emails.

So at the end there is little if any buyer protection, they just cover you with insurance ( extra cost) for the actual product delivery. But then if the product is not what promised, if doesn't match your expeditions or the promise build quality, if isn't working, if is just unusable than it's you business.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CHINESE SCAMMERS.
Mediocre site at best, lots of unfixed bugs and flaws, their customer service is severely disappointing. The good side: if you have enough time and nerves to do your homework, you can find some really professional suppliers who care about their customers.
