I have had fresh pass for 2 years, only because I intended to cancel after the first year, but at that time you could not cancel the recurring charge and had to cancel within three days according to policy. They charged my card a week before it ended and refused to refund it. I could however cancel my subscription to fresh pass and it would end immediately with out refund. The majority of fresh produce is slimy and moldy and rotten. The dairy it expired or very close to it with in a day or two, I have received milk that was not expired but was soured which means it was handled in correctly and unsafely and yet they still send it out to customers for home delivery. They extremely overpriced all products so they can inflate what they say you saved. They have five fresh pass and rewards points. Might as well forget about saving money with those on delivery orders. The spread it out between all items on the order. If they are out of stock or send you out damaged items it's just gone. Because it only refunds the amount of item after the discount is applied. As an example I placed an order yesterday for oranges. Inflated original price was 9.99. Click coupon for 4.97, add reward $3.00 off produce. Was charged 6.08 for the bag. By my calculation that bad of oranges should cost me $1.97 simple math. I called customer service because me entire order was was over charged $26.49. The representive decided to start with the orange 45 minutes of his saying I was charged right and him putting me on hold so he could check. The 7th time he went to put me on hold I lost it I had told him a number of times to transfer me to someone that could help me. He refused to transfer me often ten more minutes I stated I wanted his supervisor. His answer was his supervisor would tell me the same thing. At that point I told him point blank at least his supervisor might know how to do simple math. That. I wanted to be transferred now that I did not want to deal with him anymore. I got his supervisor explained the amount of money I had been over charged. He put me on hold came back and said as a one time customer courtesy he would refund my money. I don't fell it's courtesy to give me back what was stolen from me to start with. This is every receipt not to the extent of today. But at least a dollar or two of over charge and like me I am sure 1000's of people everyday just don't feel it's worth the hassle to try get it back. But it adds up in the two years even if it only averaged $2 on each receipt twice a week $416.
That you can expect to be over charged, do not order any fresh products that you will be very disappointed if they are usable at all. Always mark do not substitute you will be charged more for a small package than you ordered. Rewards are not worth trying to use. Over all if you don’t like get overpriced items and then being over charged, DON’T SHOP AT ALBERTSONS.

If I could, I would give the Albertsons location on San Marcos Blvd/corner Rancho Santa Fe Road in San Marcos ZERO or NEGATIVE stars. It's sad to think that they are the same corporation as the Albertsons on San Elijo Road…
A few days before Thanksgiving, we bought a huge ribeye roast, about 22 pounds. About 3 days after we had bought it, we took it out of the butcher wrapping paper and noticed a strange odor coming from the roast. We called Albertsons and were asked to return the product. About 12 hours later, my husband went to the store for the return. In the meantime, I had started to prepare a turkey instead. I didn't even think about anything, thinking my husband would come home with a refund back to my credit card or at least a store gift card. But noooooooo... They told him that he needed to get exactly what we had bought before, so he was assured that it was store policy that he HAD TO get another huge roast again. I was very upset when he came home with another roast, this time still in shrink wrap. This one weighed in at about 25.20 pounds, regular price at $10.99 pound was $276.75. Since our previous roast was a little lighter due to being trimmed and due to not having had to pay for the heavy duty plastic wrap, my husband was seriously asked to pay an additional $20. I called the store and was told the store manager was not there. So I filed a complaint online on the Albertsons website. That was on November 25,2020. We waited a couple of days, and since we had not heard back and were assured the store would "eventually" get back to us. We decided to open the heavy duty shipping plastic on the roast and cut and freeze it. It turned out there was a reason why we had to pay an additional $20 – we had about 3 pounds of excess fat on that roast, and that is the fat beyond the normal fat needed. Plus the shipping plastic – they took our additional money to pay for trash. Nice…
Ever since then, I am being stalled and mocked by Albertsons customer service. The store manager NEVER called us. In one of the emails from customer service, they seriously had the audacity to tell me that the store insisted that someone had called us on 11/28 and on 11/29. Very strange, as my phone records do not show any incoming calls on both days from an Albertson store. Instead, I had to send them my phone number again per email. So I did. I repeatedly asked for the name of the so-called "manager" at that location as I have never in my life experienced such bad or rather non-existent customer service, but the answer to that question that I must have asked 3 times now per email is being avoided. After at least 7 or 8 more emails from me, always inquiring when I would be contacted, even requesting to be contacted via email, I am still waiting to hear from anyone over at that store site. In one emails I was told that the store refused to communicate via email. It had to be via phone. I wonder why that is? So that there is no trace of any communication?
I avoided Albertsons since that day completely. I do not do business with a store that treats customers like that. Shame on them, and shame on corporate to have such incompetent management in place there.
WHY ARE YOU REPLACING NAME BRANDS WITH YOUR OWN LESSER QUALITY BRANDS? HAVE TO GO TO OTHER STORES NOW FOR MANY OF MY FAVORET BRANDS
