About two years ago my wife and I purchased over $20,000 of new appliances for our new home. A couple of weeks ago one of those appliances (a GE refrigerator) went down. We called in an appliance guy to look at it and he told us that the compressor was out, that it had to be replaced, cost $1500. The fridge only had a 12 month warranty so we were stuck, Bad Product! (I think brand new fridges such as GE should last at least 5 years, so watch out for GE products.) We contacted GE and told them of our situation and they said they would help, yet to see any help and what help to be determined. I called the AL person (starts with a D) who sold us all of the products and told her of our situation. She agreed that she thought the fridge should have lasted longer but said that we happened to purchase the "lemon" fridge and there was nothing she could do. I asked if she could call GE since they sell the product and she said she would have to talk to her manager and get back to us that day or the next day. Well, it's been a week and have not gotten a call back, Bad Service! Anyway, buyer beware when purchasing products from Albert Lee.
