Horrible customer service. Deliberate flight delays leading to missed flights. They make you buy new tickets. They just don't care. Never fly through Dublin. Beware of this company.

Flight from Manchester UK back to JFK, take a look at the damage to my bags. First, they told me I should have filed a report at the airport (I had to move on and had no time to wait), second email, they told me to get it fixed, send them the bill (anyone heard of getting luggage worth $250 repaired, hello 1980, they want their case back.) third email, the damage is normal wear and tear of flying with Aer Lingus and they won't be replacing damaged case. 3 different requests, 3 different responses: take a look at the photos and ask yourself - is this how you expect your luggage to look when you pick it up at baggage claim? If so, fly Aer Lingus. They've also never heard of the Montreal Convention or their legal obligations. Hopefully they check the landing gear, engines etc for normal wear and tear before take off…..

Tip for consumers:
This airline was dismissive, rude, inconsistent in its responses and completely lacking any customer service awareness. I gave them 3-4 chances to make this right. I have all the emails if anyone would like to view-DO NOT FLY

Tip for consumers:
Any flight connecting with Air Lingus just avoid it all together. This company should be shut down. Many many complaints on the internet. Check them out.
