I was with another company who you waited on hold for ever to file a problem and never got a straight answer. So since our policy was about to end called AFC home club and spoke with Maureen O'Leary and asked questions on why I should use AFC. She answered all my questions and asked could she send me the different levels and what they covered. It was not more than 15 minutes and I had all the info on my computer to look at. I picked the level we needed and signed up. Received the packet and then several months later we added a second home and worked right with Maureen. I called her direct number and talked right with her and got the second policy ordered. I feel great dealing direct with someone I have worked with to get the policies started. I love the direct dealing with the customer, make you feel like they really do care. I have had no claim but when I do will be sure I'm taken care of directly. I wasn't crazy about the warranty that we had. I looked under warranty and I read a blurb. I then went into AFC Home Club's webpage and they seemed good. So I got them. Submitting a claim with them hasn't been difficult. They are very responsive and there's no real delay. That gives them a really good mark. You call, you get a number, they call you back and ask you what's happening. Then they assign you to someone, and that person calls you the next day and makes an appointment. Also, they have very good service people who come out. I've been very impressed with the last few contractors we had. They were nice and very professional and they knew what they were doing.
