Spring cleaning and found my well loved polka dot dress is getting tight. It's been worn and hand washed 6-7 times and still looks so good. DCO but stood up to hand washing. Will keep for another season if I can fit into it. Zipper still in good shape and seams all in good shape. Great purchase.

Charged me for an item that was never received! Refused to provide a refund. Customer service is pretty much non-existent. Will never shop with this fraudulent company again.

I purchased a sequined dress for a special occasion which cost £290. I loved the dress but on the first wear a lot of sequins fell off. I wore it again a few weeks later to a party and more sequins plus many of the beads which formed the stripes in the dress fell off - the dress looks awful and tatty now but customer services say that it was fine when they sent it to me so the only thing they can do is to send me some sequins for me to sew back on! Really poor quality and dreadful customer service! I will not purchase from them again and do not recommend this company at all!
Short answers, no explanations, no empathy for my problem. Ended up buying a gorgeous dress somewhere else instead of buying two from them. Their loss. Very unusual rude treatment of customers for the USA.
I bought a beautiful dress in 2 sizes. I wasnt sure which size I would need. The dress was beautiful and I couldn't have been happier. HOWEVER, sending the dress back that I did not need has been an enormous pain. I sent the dress back In July 20th. It arrived back to them on July 22. I included everything they asked me to do. It's July 30th and I get automated responses or misinformation. I am about to just have my credit card handle it. So irritating, especially since I love the dress.
Although their clothing is beautiful, do not buy it from them on-line. They take forever to ship you your order (even though they charge you immediately) and they take forever to refund your money.
1) I placed my order on 9/5/21 (paid for the dress AND shipping!)
2) My credit card was charged on 9/5/21
3) I received an email on 9/6/21 that my order had shipped and the tracking number was provided
4) I kept checking FedEx and it showed that the package had not been given to them.
5) I emailed on 9/11/21 to cancel the order and was told that I couldn't, but could return it and my shipping would be waived.
6) Per FedEx, the order finally shipped on 9/21/21 (10 days after I was told that it was too late to cancel)
7) I received the package on 9/25/21 and immediately took it to FedEx to return it
8) It was confirmed received on 10/4/21 and indicated that it would take up to 15 business days to issue my refund
I called on 10/25/21 and was told that someone would check into it and get back to me. L have not heard from them. I will be calling Amex to dispute the charges.

I will never again order anything from this ripoff of a company! They not only charge you shipping of $9.95 they also charge you $9.95 return shipping and then to top it off after they recieved my return they tell you it will be 15 days before you get your credit! I paid you the same day I ordered WHY would I have to wait 15 days for my credit! This company is a total ripoff. The dresses are cheaply made and not worth the money. If I had seen these reviews before ordering I never would have! Please don't order from this company I'd shop elsewhere
I bought a size 8 gown in June 2001 for my daughters upcoming wedding. Realizing in September that I would probably need a 10, but it wasn't available on the website, I ordered a 12 to have it altered. I sent back the 8 (which was outside of the 30 day exchange window) but requested they use my in-store credit and apply it to the new size I wanted to keep. They would not refund my latest purchase, apply the funds from my June 2001 purchase without me returning both dresses. I emailed and called several times and they were basically asking me to pay double the price for the dress unless I returned it. Now, I have my in-store credit, but the size 12 is not available for purchase. I LOVED THIS DRESS and so did my daughter. Now I am stuck with $300+ credit, and no dress. All they had to do was apply the in-store credit without me returning the dress. I'm so upset. I personally will never shop here again or buy this brand due to this truly disappointing exchange with them.

I found a dress I liked to wear as a bridesmaid dress for a friend's wedding. Was sent a shipment notification 3 days later. Several days pass and the FedEx tracking still says "pending" and they had not received the dress. I email customer service to ask when it will ship. I needed to know if it would arrive in time for me to have alterations done because they have such a poor selection of petite sizes. No response. Over the next week I sent 3 more emails because it still had not shipped. Still no response. I finally disputed the payment through PayPal and that got their attention. I was told they were looking into it and it would ship in a couple days. It's now been 2 weeks since it supposedly "shipped" and I get a refund. I believe they take your money for items they don't have and send a shipment notification to make it appear they sent it. This is straight up fraud. And no one will respond to answer your emails. Avoid this shady company.
Beautiful dresses, but horrible, horrible, ghost customer service!
I ordered 2 dresses last July for a early August wedding and after reading the return policies thought no problem if they didn't work, I could return them for a refund within the 30 day mark.
The one dress I really wanted came damaged with a huge black spot on the largest white flower in the print. I sent it back within the time frame and requested a REFUND. I called and emailed customer service before I mailed it back at least 3 times before I sent it back to be sure I did so in the correct manner to get a credit card refund. They were impossible to get a true response, I just got an automated email.
I did get a response to an inquiry a month after I returned the dress that I would be hearing about my refund or Papell credit. I quickly emailed back NO Papell credit, I wanted a refund via my credit card. Now, today, I get an email with a Papell credit. I do not wear dresses and my special event was months ago. Do Not Buy from this website! They send damaged goods, and if you send back the damaged dress, they will not refund the purchase as they promise but take 5-6 weeks to send you back a credit to receive more damaged dresses. Dillards would of honored the return and credited back my credit card. Stay away!

I bought the Off the Shoulder Floral Sequin Dress and after one wear, the majority of beads came off - the dress is now a "one time use" disposable piece unfortunately. After back and forth with customer service where they initially led me on to think they would fix the dress or cover the costs to fix, they quickly backed away and are offering ZERO compensation here. Keep in mind this is after weeks of communication with customer service where they had me get estimates from tailors on repair costs and such. Ultimately, I end up with no replacement, no fixes, no discount/refund, etc. For a $350 purchase, I find the quality and customer service to be not acceptable.
This company does not stand by its product! I ordered my dress from here and 8 bridesmaid dresses. ALL of them had beads falling off. Full strands even before the ceremony. When I reached out to them they said that they gave a bag of beads with the gowns. Are you kidding me? The day of my daughters wedding before the wedding I am supposed to so on beads. They offered me 10% off my next purchase. I would never order from them again. Customer service is rude! And try to write a review on their page, the send an email to you saying that they will not post your reviews.
The customer service does not work with the customer. I wanted to return my dress and purchase another. Because I needed the dress for my son's wedding, I asked if I could purchase another dress and receive credit from my original purchase instead of merchandise credit. Also the second dress was only available in 2 sizes. The customer service said it wasn't the same financially, so they wouldn't work with me. To me, that is poor customer service.
I ordered a dress three weeks ago! Havent received anything upto date and the order number i have doesnt go through! My account was charged and haven't received anything from them than a yuck customer service!

No petite sizes so hard to fit shorter ladies. Will need to pay for alterations. Buyer Beware... Return policy is just 30 days so make sure you comply. It takes them weeks to process your return and weeks to issue you a credit. Then they dictate how you can use that credit. Can't split it. Must be used all at one time but never state that on their website. Poor Customer service. I would NEVER but there again. Just not worth it. Too many other nice dress/gown options from stores and sites that are much more customer friendly.
Love my dress but some beads fell off on the third wear. Tried to obtain more through customer service, heard nothing after two weeks even though they promised a response within 48 hours, just called back and spoke with a customer service rep who told me she could't do anything for me (really?). I got annoyed with her, she got annoyed with me, and hung up on me! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE YALL.
Wow, never have I ever received such a nightmare in service. I ordered a dress on 10/11,1 month before a wedding event where I needed it as a bridesmaid dress. I received the wrong dress, called, and they sent me a new one, 4 days later THE SENT THE WRONG ONE AGAIN. I reached out to them and was told even if they re order it will probably still be the wrong dress. WHICH MADE NO SENSE, how are you going to have this dress available online and tell me that if I tried to get it you would still send me the wrong one.
I was then told that I can't get a new dress till I sent back both dresses. I informed them that I wanted to be sure they even had the right dress, otherwise then I'm sending back both dresses, where I could of at least used one for the wedding. I'm running out of time, there dresses are also made for giants, because I"m 5'3 and had over 6" extra length, so I needed time to get it trailered.
Well, I sent back both dresses, she reissued the order, reached out to shipping and 2 days later was told THEY DON"T EVEN HAVE THAT DRESS AVAILABLE. It's been over 2 weeks of this nightmare, and I"m left with no dress. All they offered was an overnight gift card. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER recommend someone to buy a dress here.
I returned a very expensive evening gown to them three months ago, never worn, in pristine condition. It was sent back approximately 1 week after receiving it, well within the stated time limit for returns. After numerous phone calls and a litany of excuses, I am still waiting for them to refund my money and am starting to think I may never be refunded. Online BUYER BEWARE when dealing directly with this company! Their products are lovely but their business practices are very shoddy/shady.
Finally got my return label... past due the date, I could return the dresses for a refund. Used one return label and taped two boxes together. After multiple phone calls to the company, I saw a refund for all the dresses on my pay pal... that same day I get a call from the company that none of the dresses have been returned? I told them about the credit and the customer service rep said that was impossible... the saga continues
I purchased several dresses from Adrianna Papell for my daughter's wedding. Nothing fit too big or too small. Tried to print a return label but the site said I had no account and no email address could be found... even though I received multiple emails from them. Customer service is closed on weekends. Finally reached customer service. Took forever to straighten it out, still not quite finished, the person has to check with his supervisor because I need two return labels for one order even though they came in two separate boxes... are you kidding me. I still have to stick with the 30-day return even after all this...
The customers service is terrible. They're lying about the returns. Think twice before buying anything from them
Ordered a dress from AP for my wedding and it arrived with beading missing from the front of the dress. Even though the dress was defective the company would not return it as it was a final sale item and I received a long string of patronising emails from one of the worst customer service departments I have ever encountered. I wish I had read the reviews here before ordering and will be actively warning friends and family away from this awful company.

I can't even tell you if I like the dress or not because it never came. I ordered a ball gown for a once-a-year special event with a week to spare, and paid for 2 day shipping. On the expected arrival date, the dress never came. I begin tracking the dress and the shipper blamed the company and the company blames the shipper. It is now the day of the ball and I have no dress and no money to go buy another one because they have my money for the dress I was really hoping to wear. Customer service sucks and no one really cared.
I have tried to cancel a dress for my daughter. There is zero communication, no dress and no Refund.
I purchased directly from the Adrianna Papell website and never received my dress or a refund. They just string you along, acting like they're investigating but 2 months later, still no refund. The dress was for my son's wedding and as you can imagine, money was tight, so buying a replacement dress was a challenge without the refund.
