It's really disappointing The color, quality and decorations on the dress are poor and ugly Costumer service even worse. Try to contact them and say that the dress doesn't even look close to what i ordered and sent them some pictures but they said if it doesn't have any fabric defects they can not help me here and after that never got back to me. And the sad thing you can not leave any reviews on their web site so people like me have no idea what to expect Please stay away from this site Don not buy or more likely you will be sad the same as me right now

My cousin and I ordered different dresses from this website for a wedding. Both of ours were horrible. They didn't look anything like the photos on the site. We sent in our measurements and both came back absolutely huge, and the armholes on mine were really tiny. Since they were "custom size" we can't return them or get any money back. Terrible terrible. Don't order from them!

Worst company I've ever dealt with and I shop a lot. You buy something and it's delivery is immediately later than they said and they missed my wedding. I ordered 2 dress sizes so see which would fit and they told me I lose 50% when I called even though it said 'easy returns'. Very manipulative and I would highly recommend NOT ever buying anything from this company.

I am currently in the same situation as"Under declared customs tax" I feel so frustrated! Any advice please?

This company is NOT based in the USA. They make it look like they are but they ship all their products from China. This means if anything goes wrong, you're out of luck, which is exactly what happened to me.

I bought a custom-sized dress. First of all, it looks nothing like the picture, hence the measurement is not accurate as provided. Secondly the materials quality is very rough and bad. Wearing a cheap table cloth materials as wedding gown is totally unacceptable. Lastly and the most horrible is the finishing, you can spot the ink smearing part of the dress due to the poor workmanship from their factory. This is absolutely unacceptable! I contacted the customer support, they are very irresponsible to take the responsible.

This is clearly a SCAM! Do not ruin your special day by wasting your money on this company's clothing. This business model is created to completely take advantage of people. They operate under multiple aliases and websites. For eg. New Adoring Dress, June Bridals and etc. I think that most of the positive reviews on their website must be fakes. You may read some of their reviews from Google yourself.

DO NOT order from adoringdress.com. What seems to be too good to be true is exactly that. I ordered a short dress for my wedding from where I thought was England, received confirmation, and then poof... they went missing in action. I did receive an email that said if you don't reply within 24 hours, the dress won't make the 10-day delivery date, and would instead be six weeks. I saw the message approximately 2 hours past their deadline, replied, and told them I needed it within their promised time frame. [Crickets.] Finally, I got smart and complained to my credit card company and Mastercard returned the money to me. About a month after the complaint to Mastercard, I finally received an email telling me there was "something wrong in our system, so your order is missed." Whatever. I went to a real online store and found a real dress that was sent within a day of ordering, all with free shipping, and it only cost $50 more than the scam I signed up for to begin with. Run... just stay away from them... do not order... spend a few extra bucks and go to a real store. It's not worth the headache.

This company CANNOT make the dresses anything like the pictures that they advertise or the right size then they go out of their way to make the return process so hard that you feel like giving up!

Ordered a beautiful dress online, even liaised with their customer service personnel but they failed to advise that the additional shipping cost via TNT will cost more that the actual dress costs (tax and duties).
Should adoring dress had been honest and upfront about the fees I would have made better decisions, now I'm frustrated having to pay R 2000 to get the dress here where as on my quotation they only said R505 for shipping which I paid.
Totally inconvenienced. Never and Never again shall I trust this site

All of the names used to make great posts are coincidentaly the same names as the people i spoke to while ordering my dress... Dont trust this bull$#*! place! Very $#*! material and very $#*! service trying to return! Obviously couldnt return mine even though i ordered a standard size!

Don't order. They wait to respond lie & then to late to return! Can't even give them one star honestly!

I received the wrong dress and sent them an email... they sent one response... do I want a refund or have another one made... still waiting for a response! So far I'm not happy... and there is no customer service phone line... buyer be careful!
These dresses are made The Republic of China. Not disclosed on their website that I can see.

My dress came with totally wrong details. It does fit perfectly but what was the point when my dress over look no where near what the pictures they gave
I couldn't do anything about it cuz I I emailed then six months ago until today I still haven't gotten any response

I ordered a head dress (tiara) from Adoring Dress for my wedding.

The service I received after paying for the head dress was absolutely terrible. When I asked how long it would take to get the item ready for shipping, I had to wait a few days for a reply and when I finally got a reply, they kept replying about the tailoring of the dress I ordered, even though I didn't order a dress.

I finally got a tracking number once the item was shipped and by this time I was extremely nervous about the shipment, since they told me that my dress (once again I didn't order a dress) is on its way.

It arrived a few days early in the country, but was held at Customs for a month. Then TNT asked me for the invoice because the invoice that Adoring Dress gave them was for the incorrect amount and then I had to pay more than the item amount to have it released.

It arrived two days after clearing customs, but as soon as I opened the package, I saw that firstly the item was packaged incorrectly.

Instead of boxing a clearly breakable item (like promised on their website), they took seven pieces of normal printing paper, folded it in half and put that in a DHL packet with the head dress and then they sealed the packaging. Then they put that packet into a TNT packet.

They lie on their website about their packaging. This is what they say on their website:

Secondly, the head dress was broken in four different places.

According to their website:
You can get refund for Defective, Damaged or Mis-shipped Items, Size Deviation & Color Mismatch problems, etc.
You are qualified to get a full refund if your items are defective, damaged or mis-shipped.

This is NOT the case, they refuse to refund anything. They say that if I send the item back at my own cost they will refund me 50% of the item value. So I must spend double the amount of the item again to only get an 8th of the total spent back? That makes no sense.

You can never get hold of them and if and when they reply by email it takes a week before they reply with nonsense answers.

I urge you not to order anything from this company.

I ordered a dress and was super excited about finding what I wanted. Paid for my order, and was tracking my shipment on TNT another disaster no customer service what so ever. TNT requested my proof of payment and invoice supplied by Adoring Dress 5 times. After weeks of continues requests from TNT they finally tell me that Adoring Dress supplied a false invoice on the shipment. Now I'm liable for a penalty, Adoring Dress are laughing at me and the frustration is high. If they are this dishonest, what is the quality of the dress going to be.

I have to agree with many here. I order my dream dress from a website that says they are in Pretoria. I pay for the dress and the postage. Awesome. Dress is shipped within a month great... Then i get a tracking number. Tnt... Hmmm anyway its coming from china... What! No mention anywhere of this. Then stuck in customs for more than a month. Penalty, import duties. A million emails later dress arrives. The dress is made beautifully but the beading is horrible, cheap... Having to replace beading and the dress ends up being 4 times the original price. I've had this horrible experience with the fact that i get no response from anybody! It's frustrating to know that i didn't even get an email confirmation. I tried contacting them many times, still no response from them and I don't know when my dress will arrive. I have to go off by the website in what status it is. With that being said I log in to my account sometimes my order history is there sometimes it's not! Horrible service and i still haven't received my dress! Wondering if the dress is as bad as the service! Save the hassle!

I did order and pay. To find out order do not excist, no refund and 5% discount to pay again. Biggest bulldust you can find. Nobody to contact and no dress

I didn't order my dress from them, I got my dress from a local shop, but what I noticed about them is just about EVERY dress picture they have is STOLEN from David's bridal website. How did I know this? Because I saw MY dress! I kept looking through designs and MOST of the dresses are from David's website by various designers - Vera Wang, Zac Posen, and some of David's own designs. And the crazy part is - my dress was MUCH cheaper than what they are selling it for. But it's gets even crazier. I decided to read some of the reviews for my dress and does this even make sense to anyone:

A few days back when I was the bride, I have made my maids wear this wonderful and cute dress. My eyes were on the dress for quite some time. This wedding gown is particularly focussing on each part of the body. The benefit is that I got a big size, as all my family members and other guests and the maids were fuller persons. The many layered full skirt creates a fashion statement and makes it different from the run of the mill gowns. Will sure be here for more dresses for some formal events.

You had your MAIDS wear what is clearly a bridal gown? You got a larger size because your family members and other guest and maids were fuller persons? Clearly this is an in house review and it sucks. Oh and FYI, the body of the dress is NOT FULL you have to wear a petticoat to get that effect... this is what they don't know because well, they aren't the original designer of the dress.

Bottom line - yes when I was getting married I was on a tight budget and considered getting a dress from overseas but changed my mind and I'm glad I did! I know some people have had good experiences, but knowing that all they do is steal dress designs from websites and try to pass them off as their own by putting their logo on it doesn't mean it is a good product. Never did I think I would see a David's bridal dress design stolen (and actually De Vinci has a similar design) and none the less at a price more than what I paid. BUYER BEWARE and do your homework!

This company is a scam. IF you even get your product it'll be wrong size or better yet look nothing like what's shown in the picture. That's what happened to me two months after ordering the product.

Purchased a wedding dress on 02/11/2016 and inquired twice about what process it is in and if I could get pictures. Both times, they've given me different days it is going to ship and the telephone # they have on their website is disconnected.

I am going to call my credit card company and do what I can to get my money back. SCAM SCAM SCAM!

We ordered a Matric Farewell (Prom) dress from them. The Taxes & delivery cost almost as much as the dress. The dress was too big (I sent measurements but was supplied a standard size dress) The colour was different, the lace wasn't the same, the design was only similar - not the same as advertised. The quality of the fabric is poor. After numerous complaints & sending photos to prove my case I was offered an 8% refund! Thereafter if I try to contact them they merely disconnect! STAY AWAY - these people are fraudsters!

Obviously you can't order from this website and expect the best material or the nicest sewing - I mean you get what you pay for. That is not my issue. The dress was nothing like pictured, I tried ordering bridesmaid dresses and all were completely different with designs and color. Not sure how you can order 8 dresses in an order and have all come out different. Just please go somewhere else and spend the extra 50$ to get something of decent quality.

Oh my word stay away from them I ordered my dress and never got it. They also don't want to refund the money. They told me only after a month that I have to pay some sort of tax - when and where I still don't know. All I can say is stay away they are scam artists. Crap service.
