AcaDemon

I really had no issue with Academon and I thought for the longest time that their service for sellers was pretty nice. However, when I recently sold a paper for $29.95, I got a commission of $1.47 for it. If you check their seller FAQ, it clearly tells you that sellers get 50% of the sale price, NOT the profit. When I called them they came up with a cockamamie story that they only gave 50% of the profit. They said that I was given a $15 credit and they had to be a $12 "affiliation fee"which brought the total profit to $2.94, of which I got half.

Neither their explanation nor their math makes any sense. I was given a $10 credit for publishing my first paper, this was supposedly completely separate from selling. Then when my paper sold, for $29.95. They paid a $12 commission fee which should have left $17.95, not $2.94. Not only that, but they refused to elaborate on what this mysterious "affiliation fee" actually was.

So, even if there is a third party charge and it is legit, it still doesn't make sense. I spend the hours and hours writing a paper that sells for 30 bucks, and Academon sells it. We both get a whopping $1.47 and some third party who has absolutely nothing to do with my paper, gets the majority of the money.

Add all of this onto the fact that they hold onto all of your money until you reach a threshold of $45.50 before they pay you. This information is not available in the seller FAQ either. You have to actually create an account and upload a paper before they tell you this. They claim it's due to saving on administrative costs since Paypal doesn't allow them to do mass payments and it costs to much for the 10 seconds it takes someone to go in and distribute the money. On top of this, if you NEVER sell at least $45.50 in profit, you will never ever see a dime from Academon. They have been claiming for years they are looking for a way around this but that's bull. They are keeping your money "interest free." I have had a balance sitting in this account for nearly three years because it "costs them too much to give me the money."

Look at it this way. The majority of the work for Academon is done by the sellers. Academon publishes the papers and collects the money. That's it. It is the sellers who do hours and hours of work writing their papers and Academon claims it's a burden for them to simply have someone send you your money. This after they already do the minimal amount of work possible.

Tell me, is this the kind of place you want to sell a product through?

In primary and secondary school, teachers spend a good amount of time helping their students learn how to write, and as the student gets older, skills taught for writing become more complex and advanced. The process of learning how to write continues in the university, but students are pretty much left to their own devices to learn this process. This is rather unfortunate because writing is one of the most important skills required for success academically and professionally. That's why it's important to find helpful writing resources. Once such resource that comes to mind is AcaDemon.com, which describes itself as an online platform for publishing and disseminating academic content. AcaDemon is indeed just that – it's a site that can not only provide great research material but it also can provide really high-quality papers that students can use as examples to help them write their own papers.
Odd as it may sound, I've actually been in the position where I've directed my doctoral students to AcaDemon for research purposes and, in previous years, directed some of my undergraduate students to AcaDemon so that they could find quality examples of the same types of papers assigned in class. AcaDemon carries papers on an abundant number of topics as well as offers a variety of paper types. All of my students were grateful for the hint about AcaDemon. They claimed it saved them time and provided badly needed assistance.
The only caution I issued to my students when using AcaDemon or any similar site is to make sure that they don't cross the line between using the site for valid research and writing assistance and plagiarizing someone else's work.
I think, when used responsibly, AcaDemon can be, and is, an extremely valuable online writing resource and I have no qualms about recommending the site to my students. On the contrary, I'm happy to do so. If I were to review AcaDemon and give the site a grade, it would be an A+.

I've been using AcaDemon's services for the last three years now and have always been satisfied with the quality of its products and its services. The site describes itself as the world's largest online research paper site and I have no doubt that's correct. The site has so many papers to choose from and they're all really well written. I usually use the papers as resource material to cite in the paper I'm writing, or to find additional sources for my paper from the bibliography in a paper I've bought, but sometimes I've used AcaDemon's papers to help me format my own papers or just to get topic ideas for my paper. The only drawback to the site is that, because there are so many papers, you have to be careful that the paper you are ordering is current. One time, without realizing it, I ordered a paper that was from 2004, which was too old a source for me to cite. Fortunately, I was able to get a coupon equal to the same value of the paper and choose another paper instead. Overall, AcaDemon.com has been one of my most valuable resources for writing and the products are really reasonably priced for what you get – especially when you can take advantage of the special offers that are frequently provided on the site. Plus, I've told my friends about AcaDemon and received bonus payments from AcaDemon whenever my friends purchased a paper. I get the bonus payments through the refer-a-friend program. Now, I'm even thinking of selling papers on AcaDemon too. It's just a great site all around and I think it deserves an A+ review.

If you sell your paper s on here beware! They froze my acct after I sold some papers & I never got my money from them

Last year I decided to go back to school to get my teaching degree. I had been out of school for many years and wasn't quite up to speed with the demands of college. My friend told me about AcaDemon.com, an online site for publishing and purchasing academic content. At first I was skeptical of such a site thinking it just offered a way to cheat but my friend pointed out to me that the site is actually a great place to get writing support. You can download writing guides and you can browse the site for topic ideas and for papers that you can use to help you write your own papers or just cite as sources in your own papers. I'm so glad my friend told me about AcaDemon. It's saved me countless times when I just couldn't think of an angle for a paper I had to write for a class. And this year, when my daughter wanted to start applying to different colleges, she was able to use some of the AcaDemon's admissions essays to help her write her own admissions essay. This is one of the most important essays a young adult will ever have to write so it's important that it be as excellent as it can be. My daughter modeled her own admissions essay after the one she got from AcaDemon and got accepted into the college of her choice. I'm sure her admissions essay helped with that. Both my daughter and I have benefitted from using AcaDemon. The only complaint I have is that one time I didn't get my paper in time because I forgot to request the immediate download option and received the paper by email instead. I wish there was only one delivery option available, but other than that I've been really happy with AcaDemon and am happy to give the site a great review. I will recommend it to anyone including my son who will be graduating high school in two years!

A bit of a long story so bear with me. A few years ago I was struggling for cash and decided to try selling some of my academic papers on Academon. I sent them a half dozen of my best papers, all graded A. They went on sale at Academon for $50-60 each. Authors get 50% of the sale price but you need to reach a $50 threshold before they pay out. According to Academon, they sold one of my papers in 2007 (just after I submitted them) and haven't sold another since. Earlier this year I got curious and had a friend buy one of my papers through Academon. And as I expected, this sale never showed up in their reports. Who knows how many of my papers they have sold and kept the cash for, all while telling me I hadn't met their payment threshold. They are liars and cheats and thieves; avoid them at all costs.
