Black Tie

In Fall of 2019, I purchased a vest for my husband for our daughter's wedding. After seeing him in a black suit, with white dress shirt and black tie - something was needed to pull his outfit together. So I decided on a vest. After looking a many different websites, I decided on a vest from Blacktie. I did measure him and also talked with someone at Blacktie about what size vest to order. It took a few phone calls and several vests being shipped and returned, but we got a vest we wanted in the size needed. Shipping was very fast. I paid only shipping fee and all the other shipping was done compliments of Blacktie. Customer service was fantastic. Blacktie did not offer a vest to fit my husband - Large was too tight, XL was massive. So after several attempts - I purchased the XL and had a local tailor adjust the vest to my husband's body for a very reasonable fee. I also purchased the matching tie and pocket square. The cost of these items was great. He looked great for our daughter's big event. So happy I chose Blacktie. They were the best!

I went to a store to get my measurements taken, then I went online to order my tuxedo (normal process). I was not only asked to pay an extra $30 for a fast shipping, but for $200+, I got an extra large jacket (I looked ridiculous, it's like wearing XXL when you are a size M), but also my pants were made of a different fabric, not even matching the jacket. On top of that, customer service never returned my email.
