This website domain was registered in Shanghai China, but its servers are hosted in the US. All victims: please report the scam website to the following US government organizations to root out this criminal website!

An experience you can certainly do without!

I recently bought a digital multi cooker from them. I was told that the first purchase would be free shipped to me at no cost. But after I paid for the purchase, they then quoted me a shipping charge almost 3 times the cost of the product, stating that the product weighed more than the allowed limit for free shipping which I wasn't made aware of before my purchase! As they have ordered it for me and the product had arrived at their warehouse, I couldn't return it as there was a cost involved with return which was too high so I decided to have it shipped to my cousin in Zhuhai who was coming to Australia to spend Christmas with us. As such, 86daigou charged me a hefty fee for shipping it from their warehouse to Zhuhai.

I wish my story could just end here. My poor cousin carried it all the way from Zhuhai to Perth on Christmas Eve. We tried to use it but the error message of E0 kept coming up. Looking up the manual, it states that E0 would require the product be sent back to manufacturer for repair.

So I emailed 86daigou with a little video clip and some photos. I chased them several times. Their response every time was that they were still waiting for a reply from the manufacturer.

Finally, after threatening them with web exposure, they came back with a manufacturer's number for me to call for repair. What a joke!

As far as I am concerned, if you are in the business of daigou you are responsible for the overall service from the purchase to the delivery of undamaged, quality products ordered by your customers. You are not here just to take their money caring nothing whether they get is a lemon!

They knew it would not be worthwhile for us to do anything any further, not even making a claim against them. We would just be wasting more time, if not money. There is absolutely nothing we can do, being outside of China. I am not insinuating they purposely sell faulty goods to people overseas but I am not discounting the possibility.

And after speaking to my girlfriend in Sydney, she told me she had a similar experience with 86daigou and she is no longer their customer. She told me that her product was also faulty, totally unusable. Like me, she spent a lot of money but didn't get what she wanted. She learnt a lesson though, not to buy from these people. I guess we both learnt a lesson, expensive, time-consuming and disheartening. The worst part is actually not the money, it is the lost faith.
