None really cares enough to "see" you. They all just reply randomly, ghost midway, come up with the lamest excuses to leave, make a ton of assumptios and focus on telling you what to do. Even listeners with good ratings...maybe there's like a 1% of decent and genuine people there but it's not worth it looking for them...it made me feel quite invalidated and unseen, as if even in a website created for support, none really cares...

I have been both a listener and a member. I have used this platform off and on for the last five years as a member, to receive support from others. As a member, I would maybe give it three stars at this point in time. It can be unpredictable who you will be talking to as well as the quality of the listener you talk to. I found that many listeners either left randomly without saying anything or showed signs of not following their training. Some listeners are good quality and interesting to talk to. As a listener, this platform is great. I love that they have support programs to further develop skills, as well as an internship. There is tons of training provided which is great. I have received a lot of positive support since I joined as a listener. I like the additional forums as well, but the listener & member step paths can sometimes be a little bit repetitive (maybe just at the beginning- I haven't gotten very far yet on either). Overall a great idea of a platform with lots of potential for success:-)

7cups is great for venting out,casual talk,mental support for people who just want to talk to someone and its totally anonymous platform to chat and maintaining privacy of the memebers and listeners. I found great listeners who helped in my tough times of sadness.
Other than that i would like to say, the app and the website needs a bit software enhancing because it has few glitches and a little user interface improvements. Over all the website is smooth. Thank you 7 cups

They are very professional and provided with very helpful tips and techniques and the idea of the site overall is great and very helpful

Most people on here are from India and have very limited English speaking ability and even less compassion. Be sure to match with someone from your country or it will be an utter waste of your time.

People just get mad at you for not giving them advice when you are clearly not allowed to give advice as a listener.

I just tried the site out just now got a listener whos response sentences would be 4 words or less they were so vague I couldn't understand and seemed to bore them if they cared they would have asked questions said more than 4 words to me at a time. Forget this site this listener had high star rating too

It is simple and easy to use. 24/7 you can speak to a listener. It does not help. They pretty much repeat everything back a different way. I needed help not an echo. I do not recommend this site if you really need some help.

Excellent platform for relieving stress. Gives the authority to access it anywhere, anytime. Has variety of options for calming yourself.

People from all walks of life come to this website and get the opportunity to share to their hearts content.

An absolute blast, it's a nice place to be, and a safe platform to be on and learn from each other, growing together.

This site is really helpful for who is an member so they can talk in chat to an listener and maybe feel better and for the listener so you can help other people

I have been a 7 cups member and listener off and on since 2015. My recent experience as a member- I have attempted to connect with a competent listener for the last 2 months. The quality of the listeners has been appalling. I was bullied by one, who told me that if I was not senile to f***k myself. Many did not even respond to my issues at all. Finally found a great listener that encouraged further contact. We set up a time and she ghosted me. When I told her that I felt insignificant, and did not view the site as a safe place for vulnerable people, she blocked me. As a listener, I was in a month long relationship with a listener/ member who implied that she was in the act of suicide. I had to refer her on to a crisis site. This was very triggering for me. I had members that tried to engage is sexting. This is not a safe site for anyone who is in a vulnerable state. At best, you will get an untrained and unhelpful listener. At worst, you will get a bully that may cause you significant distress. Protect your mental health and avoid this site. The only good thing is the listener support feature, which is helpful after a difficult chat. But why expose yourself to this abuse in the first place? Run, don't walk, away.

Not sure why, if you deactivate someone's account at least email them why. I did nothing wrong so own up and tell us why!

You can go there and talk to random people and vent about your problems. Website and the app is sort of still buggy but it has come a long way from what it used to be.

I have been using 7cups for more than 6 months now. It has been a good experience overall and I am still using it. The community there is so supportive. You have a structured mechanism to handle and work through everything there.

7Cups is an amazing way to reach out to someone who is anonymous who is willing to help you feel better about a current situation with you are experiencing! They are equipped to help with a rang of things and will never judge you! It makes it easier to talk to someone who you don't know and know that you won't get judged!

The site which is known as 7 Cups is a really great way to connect to those who have volunteered themselves as listeners who understands and offers emotional support and some tips or just be there as a listening ear which is at no cost of course. Furthermore, this site also lets you sign up as members where if you( listeners) find yourselves in any trouble or are struggling with anything this is a great way to connect to listeners. Even though, the site is anonymous, you will find no fault that you will find that you will be heard and haven't had your time wasted. Highly recommend this site. Every aspect of this site is free so no need to have money worries however if you decide to have therapy via the site you will need to pay a small amount of money and the site is just like real therapy should you decide to take a sign up to therapy. Hope you get the benefit of the site as I think this a really great way to get support.

I just joined the site and it's okay everywhere. I think it's a bit less, some people want to talk about their feelings directly and not do all those tasks first.

7 cups is a website where people who need help and people who want to help come together. Its an amazing place full of wonder, supportive people and it really a joy to be appart of it.
