27localnews

This is one of a horde of fake websites seeking to attract buyers to a product by mimicking a legitimate news site. It is a reprehensible scam seeking to generate interest a product which is totally unproven and does not work.

27localnews is better known as "27localnews/health/acai-berry-diet-exposed-miracle-diet-or-scam/". It is the same scam as the Healthnews6 and Healthnews7 domains. These sites exist only to refute claims that acai berries are scams using fake testimonials, fake studies, and fake blogs. (Notice that all comments are "closed due to spam." They have used some clever tricks to make it seem authentic, but it is fraudulent nonetheless.)

There is no accessible root domain, you will get a "Forbidden"-404 error if you try to visit the root address (27localnews.com) or the subdomains (like 27localnews.com/health).

These are scam websites, trying to emulate real "news" websites. Their sister websites (e.g. Healthnews6.org) use browser redirects without your permission. They use popups with no cancel/close buttons visible when you attempt to exit or close your browser.

These websites are frauds--report them and avoid. (And don't buy their scam products!)
