In a bit of a knee jerk reaction to a temporarily broken scooter, my Mom orderred a replacement from Joe at 1-800Wheelchair.com. Before it arrived, her broker scooter got repaired. Joe was EXTREMELY understanding and had no issue helping to cancel the order, even though the equipment had been shipped. He handled the FULL refund without issue. Very good company. Did not expect a full refund, including shipping - Over-the top doing the right thing in my book. *This is not a bogus review- I uploaded screenclip of e-mail thread. Call Joe at 800Wheelchair.com. This company sells substandard items. I have found that out two times. The customer service is substandard as well. Got a wheelchair for my wife. Within 3 months the so called leather armrests started to tare and the insides were coming out. It took weeks for replacements. I will never use this company again.

I had read some fairly poor reports about 1800wheelchair customer response. Thus I was more than a little apprehensive.
We bought the Featherweight Mobility Chair. The left motor gave out. I contacted the company but they were back ordered on parts. When the part came in we were sent the motor free of charge. Opps wrong motor. No problem. We were allowed to keep the right motor and were sent the left one Priority Mail to Alaska. No matter what power mobility chair you buy - they are all made in China and we are at their mercy for parts delivery. We couldn't blame the company for that. The company was as responsive as possible under those circumstances. We worked with Jerry in repairs and he was most responsive at every turn. I just thought this company needed to be recognized for our excellent service. Often people fill out these reviews only if they are unsatisfied. We were most satisfied. My only wish is that there were specified repair places about to service these chairs.

I WAS WORRIED ABOUT BUYING SUCH A LIGHTWEIGHT CHAIR BUT I AMSO GLAD I DID. I AM A HEAVY PERSON AND NEEDED A 22 INCH WIDE CHAIR. THIS ONE WORKS FOR ME. I WISH THE SEAT WAS DEEPER BUT IT WORKS. LIGHT ENOUGH FOR FAMILY OR FRIENDS TO PUT IN TRUNK BY THEMSELVES. FAST SHIPPING WAS PROMISED AND THEY CAME THROUGH.

The model H hybrid transportable wheelchair is almost the perfect solution for travel. It folds and unfolds easily, it's lighter than any other competitor, the battery is easily removed, it rides smoothly and provides a comfortable seating position. In manual mode, there's no motor drag. What would I change? The controller isn't removable, which leaves it vulnerable to breakage from the rough handling experienced on airline travel. Providing a quick controller cable disconnect would make the Model H the perfect travel companion.

Overall, the travel wheelchair met our needs and I am very satisfied. I would definitely recommend to friends if they need an affordable travel wheelchair but will inform them of its limitations. We bought the model with slightly larger back wheels for better stability (front wheels may not smoothly go over large uneven gaps/bumps in sidewalks and needs an extra gentle push with your foot on the bottom, but not so much that the person sitting in the chair is ejected, which is what the seat belt is for) and like that one can sit at a table with the slanted armrests. Although, brand new, there was one problem with one of the collapsible handles not locking into place which we didn't discover until later during our vacation. This made it a little challenging to push my teenage daughter with her broken ankle down ramps. However, the wheelchair was light weight and easy to fold up. The free travel bag came in handy to keep the chair from getting scratched. I removed the footrests before checking at the gate & stored in the overhead storage of the airplane because someone had recommendation to do that. The wheelchair was delivered within 2 business days as promised which was very much appreciated since we were going on vacation soon. Once we returned, I contacted the company. Sylvia handled my case, asked that a picture be sent to evaluate the broken handle, & a week later, a brand new wheelchair was delivered to my front door. I sent back the first chair by dropping off at the nearest FedEx which was simple & at no cost. A followup email by Sylvia the next day confirmed that the chair was shipped. Thank you Sylvia for your professional and efficient handling of my case :) !

Our original item was cancelled, and I received a very quick response from customer service (Sylvia) with some equivalent options. Once I ordered that item, although it became backordered, I was continually updated on the progress of the order, and even received the tracking info as soon as it shipped. Very happy with the final purchase (item# BTR22-B)

The Transformer Wheelchair will work perfectly for my brother's situation. Love that we have the option to not use the 24" wheels when not necessary. Needed a bit more communication via email while resolving a minor problem, but parts to correct the issue arrived more promptly than expected and fixed everything. Easy to fit pieces together. Will be easy to maintain.

I PURCHASED TWO HOSPITAL TABLES FOR MYSELF AND MY ROOMMATE, WHEN ASSEMBLED THE SECOND ONE, IT WENT WRONG, WE SENT IT BACK AND HAVE JUST RECIEVIED THE REPALCEMENT TODAY! GREAT HELP FROM THEIR REPS!

After posting my customer service nightmare, I emailed Darren. He had everything right in two days! Every company should have someone of his caliber working for them.
I will have my part by Monday and he has refunded my money. My faith is restored.

My mother in law lives at an Assisted Living facility, and I purchased this for her birthday. She recently asked me to write down where I found it because several residents have asked her about it! She said she loves the butterfly pattern and has received many compliments!
