Our Phlebotomy, Dental Assistant and EKG curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive approach toward medical education, combining both fundamental classroom instruction with hands-on skills labs. Each program provides our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain immediate employment as a Phlebotomist, Dental Assistant or EKG Technician in weeks not months or years.

About Us
Medical Educators started in 2009 with a simple mission. To allow our students to learn a medical skill and become employed in their field in weeks or months not years! We have educated our neighbors in Central Virginia, Midlothian, Chesterfield, Petersburg, Richmond, Charlottesville and Fredericksburg for 15 years! Our graduates have gained employment with many prestigious healthcare providers such as Bon Secours, HCA, Patient First, Virginia Physicians, Red Cross and Dental Offices throughout Virginia and the United States.
Academics
Our Phlebotomy and EKG programs are 5 weeks in duration meeting in person for 4 hours twice per week. Our Dental Assistant program is 6 weeks in duration meeting in person 2 evenings per week for 4 hours and a 60 hour clinical externship following the successful completion of the classroom portion. A written research project is required to be completed for each program.
We offer "live" hands-on, not virtual, Phlebotomy skills training which is key to successful employment!
Our Phlebotomy and EKG Students, upon successful completion of the academic portion, are eligible to sit for a National Certification. This certification is required for employment with most major healthcare organizations. We have a history of 100% of our Phlebotomy students achieving certification in a 2-year period.
Our Dental Assistant students once completing their externship may begin immediate employment! The Dental Assistant students should complete a Dental Radiation Safety class, separate from our program, that is required by all Dental offices!
Tuition
All of our programs are priced the same with a $ 200.00 deposit for enrollment
(including a $ 100.00 non-refundable enrollment fee) and a tuition of $ 1365.00 payable in 3 installments of $ 455.00 day one, week 3 and the final week of the program. Costs for the certification exams, exam review material, Dental Radiation Safety course required for Dental Assistant are additional to the tuition.
COMPLETING DEPOSITS & TUITION PAYMENTS: You may make a Secured Deposit for Enrollment or a Tuition Payment by selecting the corresponding Pay Pal Payment selection provided below. Each online payment includes a Pay Pal shipping & handling fee. If you complete your deposit or payment by check or cash in-person there are no additional fees.

All of our instructors are certified and have years of experience in Phlebotomy, Cardiology, healthcare instruction and working in practicing Dental offices. Our Phlebotomy & EKG instructors are also certified in the same fields allowing them to mentor and guide you through preparing for the national certification exam process!

THE PHLEBOTOMY COURSE WAS GREAT!
I took the Phlebotomy course and it was great! I loved how they got straight to the point and were very encouraging and helpful! Denny and Randy are very good people! I really enjoyed taking the Phlebotomy class in Fall 2022, Randy was a great instructor and Denny had a lot of information before taking the course. The course was well organized with hands-on practice and prepared me to pass the National Certification. I got a job immediately after at a large local Plasma Center! Then I returned in 2023 to take the Dental Assistant program with Karla as the instructor. I had so much fun and she was a great teacher! Then I got a really good Dental job that I love by the time the class ended! Now I have 2 desirable skills within only months! If you are debating taking a class from Medical Educators, don't wait to take it! It's a very well run school with reasonable expectations! If you take these classes, you will be able to get a job!

GREAT PHLEBOTOMY PROGRAM!
After doing a lot of research, I chose Medical Educators and it was definitely the best way to start 2022! The Phlebotomy program was great! There was much information to learn, but the class size made it great for asking questions and understanding more throughly! Randy was a great instructor and on top of everything especially when you needed help. Denny helped me tremendously in exploring my options and kept in great communication even after the class to follow up on my job hunt! I landed a job 2 weeks after the class! Is it worth it? YES!! Would I go back and take another class with them in the future? Definitely!
