Higher education is facing one of the largest challenges in modern history.

A trend in distance education had been rising, but a pandemic forced that trend to the current reality. This unforeseen acceleration has forced institutions to make fast-track decisions regarding technical solutions for a new normal. The existing products pride themselves on deployment speeds and less on how they match the needs of the classroom. The results thus far are: lowered student engagement and frustrated faculty and administration. This creates an existential threat of lower enrollment, increased deferments, and the loss of faculty. Recourse was created to put an end to this threat and lead the world into the next generation of education.
