Is dried fruit good for you?

Should I be worried about sugar levels?

Fruit is generally good. With dried fruit, you may lose some trace elements. It is still a good way to preserve and use fruit out of season.

Regarding sugar, I would stick to reasonable quantities. So don't eat more of the real fruit than you would normally eat in it's undried state?

Some fruits have more sugar than others. Perhaps you can eat the low sugar ones?
Soft drinks etc probably include 1000x more sugar than fruits.

I don't care much about sugar - I just try to burn it all off.

Sigh. Exercise and me...

I think natural fruits are better. I'm not a fan of dried ones. Just go with whatever is in season where you are / cheaply available.

True that! Are there any dried fruits that are particularly low in sugar?
