Banggood.com

Don't take any notice of their 4 and 5star ratings. They monitor this site, and when true complaints come in giving them 1 star, they create fake customers to give themselves 5 stars. The simple way to tell if they're fake is, why would happy customers even be on this site. They are abusing the good intentions of this site to mislead shoppers. This is how they do business, underhanded, and dishonest, So don't look at their 4 star rating, realistically, it should be 1 star

Oh that's terrible. Did you have a problem with a Purchase? Have you complained to them?

Hi, for the last 2 months, I've spent £1,000 with them, bought 20 items, got my money back on just under half of them, mainly because they're so poor quality. The refunds were done through Paypal because they won't entertain a claim without a video. I lost £28 on a £47 camera that was very poor quality, didn't work, and I believe none of the cameras worked in spite of selling 28 and no feedback. I gave bad feedback, but they never printed it like the other buyers. I thought I bought some dog clippers for £65, but in spite of paying their postage fee, I got stiffed for another £25 by DHL, £12.50 postage costs, and £12.50 taxes. It turned out to be sheep shearers, very big, heavy, noisy, and sharp. Who wants a bald dog, soon as my dog heard it, she ran off. So it costs me £90 in total, postage to send it back will be another £52. Paypal will refund me the initial £65, but I'll end up £77 worse off, Banggood won't pay return postage on anything. It's pointless talking to the service staff, they just read out same responses from a cue card, and none of them know anything, completely stupid. At no time did Banggood offer a refund. Does that answer your question?

Chris-chalk this one up to a learning experience and MOVE ON! Tough lesson but you can come back from this. I typed their
Banggood.com into Amazon. They're from China I believe. The few reviews they do have are at 79%. Very LOW. Personally, I don't buy from anyone whose seller rating is below 98.5%. Just too unstable. And that's pushing it! I READ reviews and check them on fakespot to see if they are real or spoofs. Then determine if 98.5% is good enough. That, or the seller has to have sold into the 100's of thousands. 99% seller rating is good to shoot for. I NEVER buy from NEW sellers OR companies. Can't afford to lose MY hard-earned money. I let the rich who have money to burn do that!

Good luck and happier FUTURE online shopping!

It's not about moving on, but warning customers about their tricks, that's what this site is about. It's about their high feedback rating being false, notice how every time there's bad feedback, 2 or 3 people write in to contradict the complaints. Who trolls the net to say good things about a clearly bad seller, absolutely nobody, all fake, every last one of them. I believe you're also an employee, trying to get me away, it didn't work.

I don't think it's fair to call him an employee thought

Why would he ask me to move on, when this sites about warning people, and him contacting me the same day as I warned Banggood what I was doing here

No, Chris, not an employee! Believe me they are not going to come here and ask you to move on. You've already spent 1000 pounds on their site; they would love for you to spend more. I was just trying to be polite and in a nice way say don't throw good money after bad. It's never a bad idea to let people know of bad sites. I was simply adding what I had gleaned from online shopping over the years and checking feedback scores, reviews, using the site fakespot to check on the reality of those reviews, etc. Use the shared knowledge to your advantage or don't. That's your prerogative. But please don't accuse people of things. That is NOT your prerogative.

This is a Chinese online store isn't it? Are they the same site as dealextreme?

I think it's a different company. I would recommend buying from companies in the US, as it's easier to return items (if you need to). Returning an item to China for a refund can be very expensive, more than the cost of the item.

AliExpress is ok if you select good sellers.
