Morning everyone.

I have a question regarding refunds. My electricity supplier has told me that I have overpaid for the year as my consumption was way less that my predicted bills. I have chased them for months now but cant get a clear date from them. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what to do?

Good question! Who is your supplier, if you don't mind me asking? Do you have documented evidence? Does your state have any consumer advisory service that could help?

Hi good morning. Thank for your response. My suppliers are Southern Electric. I read through all the terms and conditions and in essence they have broken every rule. I just get moved from pillar to post, with promises of returned phone calls and immediate solutions. But suffice to say, I’m here months later and still out of pocket by about £600.

I forgot to add that I have approached the citizens advice bureau, who are inundated with thousands of similar requests.

Sorry it’s me again. Philip Cervera. Well as luck would have it a cheque came through my door today. So all's well that ends well! What a hassle though!
