What's been your experience with international dating sites?
Ha ha, I met and married my spouse from South Africa via an online forum back in 1999 and people thought I was insane (including my family)! I was in the US. We chatted and talked on phone for 6 months before moved to my country. I think the sight was called Flirt for Fun or something. This was my second time meeting someone online, previous I got aquainted with and eventually met in person someone in the UK and visited them there. I have met many people who have met their spouses online and it can be as valid as an other form of getting to know someone. Obviously you need to do due diligence and keep your safety as first priority. But you have to do that when you meet someone at any place. Sorry I can't offer true review or insight on a particular international dating service. I have been married to my spouse for 18 years and cultural differences can definitely be a challenge.
I have met a few people via dating sites. It can be hit and miss, but they are definitely worth exploring!
It totally depend on your understanding. Mine lover is from australia, we met via some online portal and it has been 3 years since we are in relation.
I think its sheer luck for anyone to find their soulmate via online dating sites but then again, who am I to judge?
At this point I have only explored two different dating sites and they were both identical in the business model and the results I saw. The girls/women were listed by age with what were obviously professional photographs featuring the chest area as much as possible. They recieve some type of compensation and the "icebreakers" I was sent by the numerous ones who failed to match the selection specifications I set such as age in this case were somewhat the same so they are probably working from a script. The main problem I endured was the lack of staying with the women I selected instead of switching around to a large number of available women who were either too young or too bold. I actually wasn't able to find much about how proficient the ones I chatted with were in the English language being I only exchanged brief sentences.
My experience with eurodating site- scam! Out of curiosity purchased credit stating price 2.99EUR, but after charging that from my card came charge of membership (I didn' ask for it!) 18.99EUR" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">-18.99EUR AND AFTER 2 MIN AGAIN 18.99EUR. I got so scared had to cancel my card! Trying to find contacts to ask for refund mission impossible. No phone contacts, no any contacts! Just address. Thanks for that. What a hassle I got my self into!? Wow!
