What is the difference between STANDARD and PLUS account types?

This is a good question since I don't really understand the differences between those two account types.
I mean, if you navigate to the account types tab on their website, you will see a table with all the specifics of the accounts and you can easily compare them with each other.
However, the only difference I could find is the about spreads. Everything else is the same. Both accounts come without trading commissions, and standard acc seems to have lower spreads than plus acc. Moreover, there is no difference in the required deposit as well. Why would one choose an account with larger spreads if he could choose an account with tighter spreads for the same trading conditions!? A bit confusing, right!?
