At xm you basically have to choose between two MT platforms: mT4 and MT5. They’re available everywhere from web to desktop. Or xm trading app, which has its own unique functionality. As an experienced trader, I prefer MT5, making analysis there and open trades, either on the desktop version when I can or on mobile, when I’m out of the PC. Compared to the web, lags are nearly impossible on desktop platforms. At least it’s true for this broker.
Why did I choose the 5th version, it’s another question? For me, it’s just better for top down analysis (more timeframes) and more capabilities for making custom indicators, access to more markets, stocks and crypto for example, just wider range. Actually xm broker advised me to use this platform too. I follow experts recommendations.
