Which of their offered trading platforms is better to choose for trading futures?

Doesnt matter in terms of order execution... both mt series engines are quite good.
However, if you prefer simplicity you should go with mt4. It is good for new traders, and those who appreciate simplicity over complexity.
Yet if you like having more indicators and tools, then mt5 is a better choice. Though it might look more complex, to be honestm it wont make you lost, things will get clear once you spend some time.
