I've been approached by them to run a deal... then they tell me they want 100% of the money taken form the customer which is their rule. then they send me a contract stating credit card charges of 2.5% will be taken from us as well. i call and ask and they tell me its what is taken out of the merchants income... i said i was told you never pay merchants any of the money you collect... then i got a song and dance from them about "my industry" being the exception blah blah blah. any info on what companies they do share the take with? Answer:

I wouldn't recommend these people to anyone. A total nightmare. They take your money don't send the goods and they don't answer e mails

Have you contacted the customer service at Livingsocial.com? I have found them to be pretty responsive in the past. This is a seperate review site.

There do seem to have been some financial problems with many of the deals from Living Social. But when I had a problem they answered the phone and it was dealt with quickly and the goods resent.

Yesterday i bought a deal - livingsocial have taken the money, but i have received no email, nor is there a voucher in my ls account, i have contacted them 3 times with no reply, has anybody had a response from them when there is a problem? wondering how long i should expect to wait to a reply, thank you

Me too i bought a voucher for a necklace and not recieved any confirmation but the money has come out of my bank account. I have bought from these before and never had this problem but i am worrying as i cant get through on the phone its dead!

I wouldn't buy anything! Their customer service is really really bad. They won't refund you either. Watchdog have been involved with lots of complaints. Just google reviews and you won't go near! Not sure who is giving good reviews here. Living social employees?!

So i'm thinking of taking advantage of a livingsocial deal to ireland which includes airfare, hotel & rt train within ireland. it seems like a good deal if i buy my own and 3 family members buy theirs so i can get the 'free' one. we've discussed that part & agreed to divvy up the total cost so we all get a better rate. i've had good experiences with ls for local deals, but haven't experienced their international deals or the share and have 3 friends buy & then get yours free. any comments/experiences/feedback is appreciated! Please direct me where to find out what the law in oklahoma says regarding refund for paid portion of expired vouchers. under terms: expiration dates the promotional portion of the voucher will always expire on the date printed on the voucher. if the merchant is in a state where it is permissible for the paid portion to expire, the paid portion of the voucher will expire five (5) years from the date that the voucher was issued. in some states, the law may require the merchant to honor the paid portion of the voucher beyond five years, in which case the paid portion of the voucher will expire in accordance with the applicable law. Never use living social - you should know by now they have a crooked business model. I live In the uk and it is a shame you sent these fraudsters from the USA to us

Normally a percentage... in my case all of the £99 I've paid living social... can't book hotel so presumably they just keep all of it. Can you imagine how many people they're doing this to around the world?

Hi cindy, you should try groupon instead. Its been proven reliable to me as compare to living social. There refund policy is swift and approachable. But yet again I can only tell you my experience as a customer with them, know nothing much about their relationship or policies with the vendors.

Rip me off once, shame on you Rip me off twice, shame on me The item i purchased was completely misrepresented as to quality and material. I was supposed to be Stainless Steel and instead was a cheap chrome plated plastic piece of junk. I am trying to get a refund, we'll see. I don't accept their "Final Sale" out on something that is so dishonestly described. It is living social's responsibility to make sure that items sold on their website be accurately and honestly described. If not then they truly cannot be trusted.
