There is an o-ring included in the "Wickie Pipe Lighter Original" box. What is it used for and if a prt, how do I replace?

So are guys just going to ignore these unanswered questions or what? I saw a few items I wanted to purchase but had questions about them first. After reading the negative reviews I'm not sure so sure now.
The interior screens in the Wickie pipe are larger and cupcake formed than the replacements you sell. The original pipe comes with an extra screen which is cupcake shaped also. If you spread out the cupcake screen, it is larger than the replacement you sell. I'd love to purchase screens exactly like the ones installed in the pipe when new. Possible?
Is the "genius" pipe as good as it is recommended?
