Can't seem to search our names on normal search engines just the site itself and that bothers me because when someone looks us up on Google it says nothing that we have a wedding website and a registry all through WW. My account and website are on public view so I'm disappointed ... what can I do?!

Unfortunately, we are unable to control which Wedding Website pages that Google decides to index. Your best course of action is to make sure that your profile settings are public and also that you make your website searchable. Once you do so, your guests will be able to search directly on WeddingWire for your website. Make sure that you add your fiance to your account as well, so that your website is searchable by both names!

There are different levels on Weddingwire with different advertising costs. I would contact your representative and find out what is included in the level you purchased. You can always upgrade.

You just need better & constant optimization of your website.
Weddingwire and few other vendor sites help. But it is not
the total answer. Having a good presence, with lots of
current reviews on Weddingwire is important. Even if
they don't find you directly from Google searches,
being on Weddingwire can help you to be found
indirectly through their site. Also, I've found the
more vendor sites (the good ones, that is) that
I'm on, the better my rankings are with the
various search engines.

I put my name into Google followed by wedding officiant and my name came up with my wedding wife site including my ratings. May I suggest you define your search? Maybe put you title after your name? I agree with contacting someone at Wedding Wire. I hope this helps!

WeddingWire doesn't rank very high in Google so I bet it is there, just buried after all the sites that have your names appearing anywhere in the page.

I would reach out to your contact person at Wedding Wire.
